Hey, I just bought a battery charger, portable online and no cable my computer fan accessories.

If this is not the case, is - anyone know the dimensions or a product that would allow me to use the battery charger?

No matter what the manufacturer of the RAVPower said you, books cannot currently be charged through their ports USB 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0.  They just want to sell their unit. Which is marketing. They use a (maybe) future standard as a selling point.

Power USB ports current usb 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 on laptops, they do not supply accept. Input power to your laptop through the power plug adapter connector on the laptop. When USB-PD becomes the new standard, then it will be possible to charge your notebook via the USB - port PD.

Unit RAVPower is OK to load the android and Windows smartphones. These devices are normally loaded through their micro usb ports.

  • TouchSmart HP ENVY 17-j017cl: the recovery attempt failed. Select one of the following buttons.

    I have a

    HP ENVY 17-j017cl Notebook computer Touchsmart I bought 4 DVD for HP Recovery supports a month previously, when I I want to recover I get this error explained below.

    I was trying to fix it, I did the following;

    1. turn on the wifi

    2 bios date was set before the 22/06/2014

    3 reset the default bios

    BUT THE ERROR PERSISTS.

    By selecting Save Log asks to insert a USB key which shows essentially the same message as details (see below).

    Message;

    [15:35:01.68] ChkErrBB.CMD: check c:\system.sav\logs\BurnBootWarn.log

    Selecting retry invite you for the recovery media, essentially the first DVD of the media of recovery sent by HP.

    There are 4 four total drives, 1 to 3 are recovery DVD and an extra drive

    Cables and devices to disconnect all the connected such as personal media players, USB drives, printers and faxes. Remove support for internal hard drives and remove any recently added hardware internally.

    It may be necessary to disable startup secure in the BIOS to start the computer using recovery media (CD/DVD or USB key).

    The new recovery for 2015 fall update manager must be downloaded and installed to successfully carry out a recovery of the system using HP Recovery Manager.

    It takes a minimum of 3 GB of free space to install the update in the Recovery Manager.

    Do you back up all personal files and read all of the instructions required warning before performing a system recovery? To backup your files will result in a loss of files and information you don't want to lose.

    To get the instructions back up and save your files, see back up your files (Windows 10: 8).

    The full recovery process may take 4 to 6 hours or longer to complete. For best results, the computer must not be connected to the Internet. The computer will restart several times during the process. Do not turn off or interrupt the recovery process until the prompt to log on Windows.

  • 5660 envy: envy 5660 leaves the impression

    Use a desire 5660 for 5 months. It is connected to my network via a wireless connection, no USB cable. I have 4 Windows 10 computers that are on my home network and my first installation of the printer all worked very well. All PC were able to print. One by one over the past months, the PC could not print. My PC has been unable to print. And it arrived today.

    I have cyled to the printer several times. There is no error message, no code error, no flashing lights, no red lights. Blue wireless light is turned on. The printer says it is connected to my network and it has a valid IP address.

    When I click on the button to print a Word document, for example, it goes through the motions of printing, in a popup appears showing a percentage complete ramp because it sends the statement to the printer, when the bar fills to 100% of what the pop up disappears. But there is no printer the system tray icon.

    I went to the HP support site. It was suggested that I install a helper application HP which is supposed to diagnose the problem. I downloaded and installed, then he ran. He says she has no recommendation and listed a bunch of software and drivers. Does it mean that I was suppose to install?  So I install the first package, who said he was the complete software and drivers for all the traits of 5660 envy. He got me to start the new printer configuration scenario around and create a new account to activate the printer. During the activation process I am suppose to click on a button to test print (which I do) to print something that is supposed to have a printer ID on what I'm supposed to enter a field in order to activate the printer.  The printer does not print.  So, I go to the printer and check the setting eprint. It enabled (what a surprise!).  So I print a page the printer display eprint.  It prints this possibility, but there is no printer ID I see. There is only the address email of the printer.  What's supposed to be the identification number?

    Even after all this the printer still won't print.

    I have not installed new hardware on the network or on a PC. The only software that is installed on any computers in the last 5 months, that's all that was installed by the Microsoft Update service, which can not be stopped on Windows 10.

  • HP ENVY 17-n013na: the Legacy BIOS boot option does not work

    Support dear HP team,

    I recently bought for laptop HP ENVY 17-n013na .  It came with Windows 8.1. I have to install Windows 7. Unfortunately, the legacy in BIOS boot option does not work for me. Here is detailed information:

    BIOS version: F.04 Rev 5.0

    I tried updating to the latest version of the BIOS on the Support site.

    To activate the option to boot legacy, I followed the following steps:

    • Entered, BIOS configuration utility
    • Go to the System Configuration
    • > Boot options
    • Changed the setting to the Legacy Support on " Enabled"
    • F10 - save changes & exit

    Now, after the restart, if I go once more, configuration of the BIOS Legacy Support is set to disabled. Whenever I have change to active BIOS, Save & Exit, it is up to the people with reduced mobility. Because of that I can't run the installer of Windows 7 DVD.

    Please provide any help & suggestions.

    The web document I have provided does not detect anything. You must fill in the required information precisely.

    If your laptop does not start, use the HP Support assistant to find the serial number and product number.

    In the HP Support Assistant, the system information tab will display the serial number, right underneath the name of the product.

    You will also see the serial number and product number complete the bottom of the HP support Assistant.

    Dimensions for portfolio would be 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

    Dimensions for photos of the contact sheet should be 2 x 2 inches if you are using the Windows Photo Viewer.

    the dimensions of the icon on the homescreen for the storm is 73 x 73.

    The app pulled up to the icon of evil with the operating system set to day, so I did a bit of debugging to see what has changed. I discovered that the value of preferredIconHeight is 70 instead of 73. I also tested this point on the 9530 with 5.0.0.32 Simulator 8, and I get the same result. I was wondering if the dimensions of the favorite icon changed with the new OS - so if I need to update my code to keep account of the change. I have not seen anywhere that the dimensions have changed, then maybe I'm picking up on the dimensions wrong somehow?

    Sorry it took me a while to answer this.  I got a response from the BlackBerry Support on this subject. There was a problem with the HomeScreen.getPreferredIconHeight () method. This will be fixed in a future release. 73 x 73 is the resolution of the correct icon.

    I drew one account & other entity left blank...

    It was the order to HAV, mapped from the source address.

    For PEAK value [no PIC] must be load in the target, but this value was not in the source

    How can I specify the Format of data support Mapping in [Explicit, between the two, etc.] to encode the value target

    Dimension 8250 (Feb 2003), Windows XP Home SP2, 60 GB HDD, 512 MB of RAM, BIOS A01 - entirely standard

    My hardrive suffers from weird deaf noise for a few months, but last week, it was a lot worse. Sometimes it starts up and is ok, othertimes it takes 1 hour to start and everything produces the deaf noise and is so slow, that it's unusable and other times simply clunks and not even start.

    Error messages received:

    (a) "drive Dell, monitoring system has detected that drive 0 on the primary Eide controller is out of normal, backup specifications and replace the HARD drive.

    (b) "error was detetcted on the HARD disk during the paging operation" (in the event viewer)

    (c) "driver detetcted a controller the HARD disk error" (in the event viewer)

    (d) when I run the Dell IDE Drive Diagnostics (F12), it says FAILED return Code 6

    Issues related to the:

    (1) am I correct that the drive needs replacement?

    (2) I want to just keep it very simple and buy a drive and adapt it, do not worry about BIOS or other upgrades. What I do pay attention to the size car that I buy, is there a maximum size that I can have with BIOS A01? Maybe thought to 120 GB? I just want to be able to adapt, without having to play around with BIOS upgrades so simply the easiest option, which is to buy, set up and reinstall the software. So, is there any limitation integrated with BIOS A01? The recovery CD is XP SP 1

    (3) am I correct that the PC supports up to 100 ATA if you need to make sure that I buy ATA 100 no ATA 133?

    (4) original drive is Hitachi, Seagate Barracuda would be better?

    (5) think active drive a 2 MB cache, a cache 8 MB drive would work ok without me having to pay anything and if yes is it useful on the 2 MB cache?

    I think that perhaps you misunderstand the purpose of this forum, which is to discussrequest for new features, rather than ask questions about existing features. These questions should normally request in the regualr discussion forum.

    I don't think in this case, there is no kind of automated design tool (it is a measurement tool that will measure, or you can select the objects and get their coordinates in the transform or control panels), but if you want that the written information, you will need to add it yourself in the file. I would recommend a separate layer for this.

    I have a 'simple' problem, but can't get it resolved! The calculations of the CDA in the cube not 'reset' at the right moment in time (they should 'reset' on the exercise, but it actually seems to happen on the normal calendar year).

    Our dimensions and cubes are MOLAP. There is a relational table that contains columns with values for both a calendar hierarchy as well as a hierarchy of exercise. This table tells the date dimension (only the tax hierarchy as MOLAP, we have just a fiscal hierarchy). The result seems correct in the data viewer.

    The cube is filled with both relational sources. A perspective provides the measurement values and CODE (distinctive signs of business) values for each dimension involved. In the case of the date dimension, it provides the code for the involved level value in which we cube (months).

    I made a very simple testcase with only 1 dimension (date) and 1 small cube. The cube uses only the dimesion of date (to load the cube on the fiscal hierarchy at the month level) and has 1 base measure that is loaded with a simple number and 1 calculated measure that calculates the value of the CDA for this basic measure. The calculated measure is added to the cube designer OWB by using the button 'generate calculated measures' and choosing the function 'Year to Date'.

    When complete the cube and using the data viewer to verify the results, CDA values don't 'reset' at the end of the year. They seem to reset at the end of the normal calendar year!
    After some tests, I have concluded that this has to do with the values I provide to fill the date dimension, but I can't figure out what should be the change, and I can't find examples anywhere.

    Someone out there a calculation for a YEAR of work in MOLAP?

    Any help much appreciated.

    It can be an inherent behavior of the time dimension in the AWs where the CDA on financial is not supported out of the box, see the OLAP thread below. Have you tried just build your simple case in AWM recreate? If you can get around using a custom expression, you should be able to define this custom OWB and still keep the design you have.
