  • Want H8-1534: could not start HP Envy H8-1534 pc after Windows update 10, 1607

Windows 10 has made automatically update 1607 (KB3176936) on the pc of my wife (HP Envy H8-1534) about 6 days ago. Since then I could not start the pc the first time I turn it on.

When I hit the power button on the monitor lights up with the HP logo on black screen as usual but the loading icon (spinning points) does not start. Fans start, but there is no activity on the Tower in the way of flashing lights or beep sounds. If I turned off the pc by using the power button, wait 10 seconds and turn on again, the pc will start up as normal. So far, for the last 6 days, it took the 2nd attempt so that it starts the pc every time. It almost seems as if there are not able to go to the system except for the fans in this first attempt to start.

I ran a test at startup by pressing the F2 key without no problems found. I disabled the SATA power management in the BIOS. I ran the Windows startup with no result repair. Here are the results of the txt file.

I researched all the possibilities. I fear that this could begin to worsen. Any help will be appreciated.

  • HP Envy m6-1178sa restoration incomplete

    Model: HP ENVY m6-1178sa

I was faced with a problem with my installation of Windows and it seemed to be a problem with "KERNELBASE.dll. I was told that I should be reformatting my laptop so I have, using the recovery partition (I pressed F11 at startup and chose the minimized System Image recovery).

The recovery process seems to operate normally, but in the end that it connected me on one account labeled 'Administrator' and said that the restoration is incomplete. I opened the newspaper and everything was going well, apart from that:

    [RegistryDevicesCheck]

    Result = FAILURE

    Hello

You do not have to reinstall the OS - try the following.

First of all, make sure you anchor the tablet on the keyboard section.

Start the computer normally, and then sign in.

Black screen, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

    Select Task Manager.

Click on file and select the new task.

Type rstrui - also enter a tick in the box for "create this task with administrative privileges" - and click on Ok.

When the system restore interface is loaded, choose a restore point at least 48 hours before the log - it occurs first and then proceed to the system restore.

If the above is not correct the problem, try to run the steps in the link below.

  • HP envy h8-1534: the upgrade of processor AMD, Confusion

My motherboard is the current model:

    M3970AM-HP (Angelica).

In the treatment of the upgrade information section, it lists supported processors.

Supported for my motherboard is AM3 - b.

All upgrades processor, when I search on ebay, amazon and newegg, appear as AM3 +.

When I look for the FX-8150 (Zambezi) processor, it redirects me to the FX-8350 Black Edition Vichera 8 - Core.

I would buy and use the 8-Core Vichera.

My question: is he supported by my motherboard?

The HP website seems to suggest it is but I have friends and other sources who say that maybe it's not.

Please clarify this issue for me.

    Thank you.

  • HP Envy 15-k201na: restore to the factory settings corrupts the files/windows Boot Manager

I wanted to restore my computer laptop back to factory settings. So I went into settings and navigated to the update and recovery, recovery and then clicked the option restore factory settings. I had several partitions then asked me if I wanted to delete all of my drive or to remove all the windows disk was installed on. I clicked on the remove all option. Everything was erased from my laptop, I think that the boot partition has been altered to. Now when I start my laptop 0xc00000000f error code occurs and he said: 'you will need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any facility (such as a disc or USB device) support, contact your administrator for PC or PC/manufacturer. »

Is there a way to fix this? My laptop still warranty HP on this subject.

A system image restore fixed my PC; I used recovery media to recreate the image on my PC.

  • HP Envy h8-1534: psychedelic display

I have a HP desktop computer that switches to a weird display sometimes. He went to this view when my computer has been upgraded to

Windows 8.1. The computer being unusable, I downgraded to Windows 8 and stayed there to avoid the problem. However, I have now installed

a new video game (Diablo 3) and whenever it loads, the screen returns to display Windows 8.1 style.

Someone saw something like that? Have a solution to the problem?

Well, after a lot of work and drastic effort, I was able to solve this problem.

I followed your advice and tried another monitor (in this case, my TV) and couldn't get it to work either.

However, television made a mistake on a resolution mode not supported. I did search Diablo 3 and found to customize the resolution on the game [C:\Users\\Documents\Diablo III\D3Prefs if someone finds this years later]. Changing the resolution does not either. Then I tried to change the refresh rate default of 50 in the file at 60 and suddenly everything worked fine.

I have set up my screen (an Acer P235H) and the game at 60 Hz refresh rate, and it worked all of a sudden. I'm not sure how I would be able to resolve this problem on Windows 8.1 (assuming this is the problem here too), but it solved the immediate problem for my game and I know what to try with 8.1.

  • Desktop envy h8-1534: can I put the lan card Realtek single band dual control on desktop pc HP Envy h8-1534

My current router - Netgear N600 dual band 2.4 & 5 ghz. I tried to upgrade a ca router and my PC does not recognize it and I can't upgrade the software due to windows 10 saying the network firmware is up to date. I want to add the ca wireless router to my network to see hd movies that keep synchronizing on my pc. Should which network card I upgrade to the dual band 802.11b/g/n/ac? Thanks in advance for any help.

It would seem that a map similar to this one should work.  That's assuming you can locate where is this card and you can change it.  If it is too difficult, then try a USB adapter to match the style of router

    Hello

You were already using successfully your HP recovery discs before this instance? The new HARD drive is connected to the same port SATA (SATA0) the original HARD drive was connected to?

HP sold this PC in two geographic regions: the USA and the France.

The number of product of the USA is Envy h8-1534

The number of the French product is Envyh8-1534ef

The USA product offers a DVD Recovery Kit four Win 64 8 build No. 13NA1RR8601. This build number should be located on the bottom of your Tower. No recovery kit is available for the number of French products.

If you have a h8-1534 then a recovery kit is available here.

You are under warranty? Contact HPfor replacement HARD drive if you are in warranty. I bought four HP from the PC to the HP USA Store and all have come with a two year warranty.

Explain your problem with recovery disks, you did. HP support should be able to help. HP will support your PC with all the components in stock.

  • Want to 750-114: graphics card update

I had only my HP Envy 750 - 114, less than a week but discovered that the integrated graphics card does not well with my Poser 11 3d modeling software or the online games like Second Life. When I bought the computer, I was told that the graphics card was better than my old HP Envy H8-1534. The graphics were amazing with that. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or something was not well defined, but I expected better graphics.  I hope I can improve my graphics even if it is integrated. I don't know what I should look or if I can. I'm not very teckie.

Overall, I love the computer and I'm happy with everything.

Any help is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance

    ArcticFire-AK, welcome to the forum.

I checked the system requirements for the program and the game you mentioned.  It seems that your system should work well with both.  However, integrated graphic card and video isn't always good for the games.  It's more for daily tasks such as navigation.

You have "1 PCI Express x 16 (Gen 3.0)" slot for a video card.  I love EVGA cards.  Here's a map of willing to work pleasantly in your computer.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.  The State of the plug she needs at least a 300W power supply unit (PSU) to function properly.  However, some members have reported that 400W would be better.  If you don't get this card, I recommend to try it with your PSU existing prior to the upgrade.  If necessary, I would buy one at least 600W and modular.  I love the Corsair PSU.
