• HP Envy Pheonix - move or delete the recovery partition

  I just bought a HP Envy Pheonix 800 and there a 120 GB ssd for the OS.  Ago a second partition that is for recovery that is as I wish to move or to get rid of so that I can have the other space available for files such as 120 GB can fill up pretty fast.

  If I create a defined backup drive I'll be able to get rid of this partition and it is part of c:?

  Or can the partition be moved safely to the other HD without any problem?

  As long as you create your recovery media set - see link below-, so it should be no problem deleting the partition (moving it usually breaks its functionality).  If you need to use the recovery media to perform a 'factory Reset', this process will reinstall the OS and recreate all of the original scores, including recovery D.

  Create recovery media - Windows 8.

  About the removal of the recovery partition, you can often do this through the application Recovery Manager as shown in the HP document on the link below.

  If this option is not available, you can simply delete the recovery Partition using Windows Disk Manager and extend c in the unallocated space.

  I bought the HP Envy 810-210 a Phoenix earlier this year and recently replaced a 645 GTX graphic card a GTX 960. When I replaced it I noticed the power cord was appropriate is more good in the power supply and can fluctuate a little. Now when I move my PC, the power cord will be disconnected and will Crackle. This turns off my computer and I have to tinker with a correct position in the socket to restart.

  What would be the recommended action for this? Is this a problem of cord or plug, do you? Y at - it a power supply that matches or is better than that which is currently in my computer (here), which will be a fit if it needs to be replaced?

  Recently my fingerprint reader built in nature, will not show any signs of life, it won't be or see the windows settings or smart pass upward. Even when I run my finger on it, it shows no lights, or whatever it is.
  When he started, when I opened my laptop, security issue would simply pop up. Meaning that he tried to read my footprint three times. Even though I hadn't touched.

  Hello! There, I had so many problems with my reader of fingerprints and here's what I did using fix for awhile

  Step 1: Uninstall this driver from the Control Panel Validity WBF DDK

  Step 2: Restart the PC

  Step 3: Type in the HP Recovery Manager boot screen

  Step 4: Reinstall the Driver Validity WBF DDK

  Step 5: It should work now, if it does not repeat the same steps a few times I have to repeat the same steps again

  I noticed your post that you can't get your HP Envy to print from your iPad or your office. I am pleased to see that for you!

  What is the model number for your HP Envy? How can I find my model or printer number?

  What is the operating system on the desktop, Windows or Mac? What version? http://www.whatsmyos.com.

  To confirm that the hardware of the printer is functional, you are able to make a copy with the glass of the scanner of the printer? Copy of Documents.

  In the meantime, please try a hard reset by following the steps in this post, How to perform a hard reset, by @Rich1. It is important that the power cable from the printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector.

  Hi, just bought a printer Envy 4520. Works very well in my office with Windows 7. I have a problem when I try to install the printer in an old laptop.
  After installing the software, the installation process asks me to activate the printer online. At this point, the program said that there is no internet connection.   Not really a player any longer but figured I buy an older game and read it. So I picked up MOH Warfighter him charge up and began to play. With a minute of starting the mission my screen in black SP. I had to unplug my system to reboot and try again and the same thing.

  Now my system is very don't own any unwanted bugs, etc.

  Based on the specifications of the real box my system exceeds the system requirements to run this game. All thoughts.

  I did some research on your question and the problem is THAT MOH Warfighter is not supported on Windows 8. I searched several Web site and never found any plug for Windows 8 and link below is specifically stated that it is not supported.

  I looked through the forum and download the manuals and everything becomes extremely technical very quickly.  So I downloaded a driver from intel and he says: "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software.

  I'm just a simple user. I can guess that the Intel thing will be the fastest computer starts. That would be nice, but I'm not qualified to start faffing autour in BIOS. Nor do I want to be.

I completely understand your problem and your reluctance to go into the BIOS.  If you don't feel able to do then by all means to stay outside.  Please provide information on your system as well.  Now, there's only one way to deal with this and it does not need to go into BIOS.  Here is a link that you can walk through the steps needed.

• ScanJet G4050: Desktop unable to see the drivers for Scanjet G4050

  I have a ScanJet G4050 that I can't make it work with my desktop computer (HP ENVY 700 - 210xt CTO desktop PC). The Office seems to think that there are no drivers for the device.

  I've recently updated for Windows 10 of 8.1. I had not connected the scanner before update (yes I know) so I honestly do not know if she would have connected before.

  I ran software installation from the disc, and then downloaded and installed software linked from the info Windows 10 on HP website.  Nada.

  My Device Manager Office lists the HP scanner which I assume is due to the installation of the software detects not the scanner because I told

  The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

  There is no compatible driver for this device.

  Watching the news on the events tab for the device, it is said

  I guess ' present: false "means that the device is not seen by Device Manager.

  Just in an act of desperation, I switched the USB cable in case it was bad, nada.

  OK, I'm completely and totally frustrated... and ideas.  If someone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.  Pay $99 for technical support of time on a $180 scanner is not really profitable.

  OK, well - the information on the pages of the Web site support has been around since at least 2006 - so if the scanner is not believed, it seems at least some support information has been around for some time.

  Most new laptops come with a trial version of Microsoft office.  It is not a free software.

  You can buy an activation key for the store from Microsoft or another provider to activate Microsoft Office 2013.  If you bought when you bought your laptop of HP, then the documentation of your order which proves that this is the case.
