HP Envy5530e - scan of a single page out also several pages with a tiny part scanned on each page

HP Envy 5530th all in a series

Everything seems fine with the printer, but when I scan it seems ok on the preview but it creates JPEGs 12 - each of them is a scan of a tiny different part of the page.

I would like to create a single document page of the entire leaf, preferably a pdf not a jpeg.

I don't see any error messages.

Hello

You must select in PDF, JPG not. and what is important to select dosument, no picture

Kind regards.

  • Printing of multiple numbers of document/picture on a single page

I have a separate document for each week of the year, each document has a worksheet in it. I would like to print the worksheets in each document, but want to put more than one of them on a page. Is this possible? So far, I can only print each individual worksheet... Thanks for the tips!

    Hi pmgw,

I don't know any way to print a table of two separate documents on a single page in a single step. There are several ways to do this using multiple steps.

    1. You can configure individual documents so that the tables you want to place on the printed page even alternate position on their leaves, 1 week at the top, 2 bottom, week 3 on top, etc.
Two consecutive weeks can then be printed on a single page by printing the first, reinserting the page into the printer using the same orientation *, then print the second.
    2. Open the documents numbers during the two weeks that you want to print.
In the second, select the table to print. Copy.
Switch to the first. Click on an empty space on the map. Dough.
Drag the table glued in position. Print.
(optional) Select the pasted table and press DELETE.
    3. Open a document of 'Blank canvas' pages.
Open documents from figures for the two weeks that you want to print.
Copy and paste the table of each document numbers in the Pages of the document.
      Print.

    Notes:

Second printing works - Orientation: the best way to ensure that the document is oriented the same for the two rounds is to place a light pencil mark near the center of the edge of the paper closest to you when it is in the tray. After the first run, replace the paper in the tray with the pencil mark in the same position. U

Table selection: to select an entire table, you can place the mouse pointer on an outer border of the table. When the pointer icon changes to a line crossed by a two-headed arrow, click to select the entire table. Or click the table icon in the sidebar (Numbers ' 09). None of these methods to select a table to move or copy.

Or (once) click any cell in the table, and then press command + A to select all. Use this method to copy the contents of the table. When glued, the result is the same as copy and paste by using the first two methods.

The use of the Pages: the advantage of paste tables into Pages is an easier control of the appearance of the printed page. If you do this often, I would say adding guides to layout of the document Pages indicating where to place both calendars, and then deleting the calendars (leaving the guides) and save the document as a template.

  • How to change the region to fit on a single page when printing.

    Hi all

I am only recently starting my APEX trip (and I am sure that this is where I want to stay!) please excuse any "dumb" comments I can do!

I use APEX 5.0.3 and the universal theme.

    I followed the steps kindly provided by Christian Rokkitta on the following blog to create a tree of the Organization;

Oracle & Apex Geekery: CSS3 Pure Org-tree with APEX list

I only have a CSS and JavaScript knowledge, but did successfully a number of changes to meet our specific requirements. Where I fight, it's around areas of printing that do not fit on one page.

I tried to edit the CSS, I tried to use JavaScript to open in a new window pop up, I have drawn on Print Style sheets and am currently using a modified version of the 'Standard' page template so that I can use @media Print to stop certain elements display. The CSS before I tried to use breaks page and updated scale, but after 4 days of work on anything else, but this printing problem, I'm starting to wonder if I go about it completely the wrong way.

What is someone is able to help with the above? Basically, I need to make the organization chart fit on the single page when printing. almost as if I had 'zoom out' until it is on a single page and then print.

I have refrained to put links or screenshots however please let me know if you need more information and I'll get it right above!

    Thanks to you all!

    Richard

Check page 4 where I added the bottom of specific statements of style for printing.

  • SEO on a site from Muse single page?

I am a professional photographer and my current Web site is built in Wordpress. It is a nice looking site, but it's just not as commercial/professional research I would like to and I'm looking to rebuild using Muse. I was shopping for some nice looking templates to save me time and many drawings I see are made as a page layouts. Specifically, I'm in this one:

Muse to Muse creative models - Shema - model | ThemeForest

It is a site of unique page with menu links to different anchors around the page. My concern is that on my current site, I have a dozen pages indexed in Google, so if I go on a site more like a muse single page layout, how is this going to hurt my SEO, even if a lot of the same content is taken from one site to the other? Thank you!

One solution is to adapt to different pages in separate sections H1 headers and anchor links. Then create 301 redirects for every old page to the new section anchor. Matt Cutts of Google indicates it should not be a problem, but the jury is still out.

  • I have two docs pdf I used Acrobat to convert word documents.  How can I extract a single page of a doc to be inserted into the other doc?

I have two docs pdf that I converted into Word using Acrobat Pro documents.  How to extract a single page of the first RFSO and insert it into the second doc?  When I "select all" he seized the entire document.  I need to take pages, other pages and change some of the text.

    HI djlarp,

Try to triple - click the text you want to select - it can sometimes be difficult to select text in a document converted. If this does not work, it could be that the PDF document is created from a scanned document and OCR is not enabled when you converted the document. (However, OCR is activated by default when converting via ExportPDF site.)

If you are unable to select text by triple-click, let us know. I'd be happy to look more closely at your files.

    Best,

    Sara

  • How to create flip book in InDesign, so it starts with a single page

Flip book out of InDesign is cool - but I was not able to find a way to create so that it starts with a single page, rather than a spread (with a blank white page in the front of the cover).  Any help appreciated.

Going CC Forum to InDesign Forum thread.

    Hello

Currently, there isn't a direct way to the cover of page one page in InDesign. You will need to "fake" it by filling the side left (first page) of the spread, the same color as the background of your web page.

Petteri_Paananen suggested another solution using eDocContainer. You can find more info here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2279180#2279180#2279180

  • Creation of multiple Lightbox galleries on a single Page

    Hey,.

I am creating 3 different galleries on a single page using lightbox for each gallery.

    Here is the site:

    http://kristycline.BusinessCatalyst.com/index.html

When you hover over images 3 deer, "Graphics", 'Web Sites' and 'Fabric Art' are the roll more images. I want to make each clickable so a lightbox Gallery opens with the Gallery said.

The issue I'm having is when I set the button for the light therapy device on the first deer (on the left, for "graphic" design), for some reason any invisible button to the lightbox makes it revert to the original image. Why? Not sure! There is a small space between where is the invisi-button and the edge of the deer so roll on image appears, but not hovering over the button of the lightbox Gallery... Make sense?

Please let me know how to achieve this technique. See you soon ~ the MUSE of LOVE!

    NVM ~ figured it out:

Just had to do the "trigger" for the lightbox, the real image of the deer with a substitution effect ~ DUH!

  • Creating PDFs single page of a brochure designed to extends format

    Hello

So, I have been asked to take a brochure located in the pasta spread and save each Panel in a single pdf page. So, basically, in document format, page size is 17,75 x 8.5).  There are four panels, each Panel is approximately 4.3708 x 8.5. The problem is, each Panel was not created as a single page in indesign... instead, it is established as a 17.75 paper 8.5 x and the panels are created in this size of document.

I guess I want to know if there is an effective way to create these pdfs single panel with what I received.

    Does anyone know?

It is either copy/paste in a facing-page document correctly laid out (the best choice if he needs editing in the future), or place the pages, each twice, in a doc pages pages face and crop the bad half out of each page. In both cases, you need to rearrange the pages spread in readers.

  • Cannot export to single pages facing pages

    Hello

I have a 60 page document + that I created to deal with pages. It is a magazine, so I had to work in spread because much graphics extend over two pages.

My problem is that I was invited to make the final PDF file 'single page' - spreads. Each page must be hers.

I tried to turn off the coast facing pages under the heading "Configuration document", but it did not split graphs that spans two pages (IE, I have a header that covered two pages and when I turn off 'facing pages', the header is attached to the 'left' page and space where half right of the image should be is not in the "right" page.) I understand that it is an object, but there should be a way for her to 'split').

I can't find another way to transform the export of single pages. I either export it to PDF and get "spreads" (two pages face-to-face somehow transformed into a long page) or I lose half of my content.

I'd appreciate any help - it's a huge head and rather sensitive time.

(By the way, I had this problem once before, when I was more inexperienced.) I did save two versions of the file: 1 vote against and facing pages and the other with facing pages turned off. Then I copied the 'spread' from the 'facing pages' file and pasted on the page "right hand" of the non-pages file (it's the cut part of the graphcis that spans two pages). I don't know if I explained that very well. It of obviously awkward, takes a LOT of time and spatial memory (which causes my system to slow down a lot), and I found myself with a couple of headers that were a couple milimeters off.  I feel that I'm totally missing something: I think that the duty to spread fashion design and have the file finished in simple pages would be a common thing to do).

I'm starting to see a trend where new users seem not to grasp the concept of what is a "page", and what is a gap. A page's layout unit, that you specify in the settings of the documents, if arranged as connected or not. A gap is a page or group of pages that are accessed by side (the first page of a book is laid out as a single page spread, for example, with pages double suite). Spreads are constructed from the pages and are a convenient way to work, allowing you to see that a reader will see in a finished printed publication and work in related pages in a single view, but they do not have magical powers to change the size of the page, just because you're looking at the two pages together.

Pages in spreads remain independent pages. They can be moved to new locations without moving their companions, and when you print or export (with the exception of the interactive PDF in CS5 or later) by default, you get simple pages, no matter how they could be organized on the screen. You define documents as pages face to face time to display the "spreads" as a unit while you work and be able to create a "handedness" in the provision, i.e. pages that are distinctly to the left or right clearly, based on the number of page. This means that you can have different margins or headers and feet, or other objects as the color bars on the two halves of your broadcast, and that these things can be put on the master pages to apply automatically.

If you start using pages face to face, your default master page is a double page that can accommodate this handedness. If later, you go to the preparation of the Document and uncheck the facing Pages to break out "spreads" you also lose the ability to use the left side of your master page and and if there is no asymmetry in your layout will be lost, and your document will be destroyed, then uncheck face pages prior to export is both unnecessary and a very bad thing to do.

STIX said, if you export PDFS for printing, there is nothing special at all you need to do to get the unique pages. Just make sure that you did not check the box of spreads. Interactive is a little different. The box was apparently omitted design with the default state set to export pasta to spread (sometimes the engineers do not understand how we work as designers), but there are two approaches to the problem of spreads for export unique to interactive PDF pages. Script he mentions is easy and practical and changes the State of the missing box and is probably what you want, but it is also possible to "split" a spread in individual left and right spreads errors and they will export this way regardless of the State of the checkbox. "" The method is described in InDesignSecrets "Blog Archive" Pages Breaking Apart to bleed off the coast a spine

One caveat, however, using the "spreads" split, is that objects that cross the spine are on one page or the other when you are done, not on both pages, so you must copy the and paste in Place where they are absent on the opposite side.

  • ID CS5.5 export interactive PDF as single pages, no spreads

I read the instructions wrong? I have a 116 page book. When I export to PDF for printing, it exports correctly, showing a page at a time. When I export to interactive PDF, pages come out as single large pages, and I find myself with a book of 58 pages in landscape format. I tried all the settings. Yes, I chose 'single page' in the area of the layout (if I select 'Two up', I find myself with 4 pages on the screen).

Advice? I don't know I'm missing something obvious. Thank you.

What attracts almost everyone by surprise. It's actually by design, but judging by the posts here not necessarily the best design decision. There are two ways to address this via script. Active / disables the export function extends offshore for interactive PDF export (see Interactive PDF from InDesign CS5 always a extends on |) InDesignSecrets).

Another method is to divide the "spreads" before exporting it ("see InDesignSecrets" Blog Archive"Breaking Pages Apart to bleed off the coast a thorn and http://www.printisrael.com/indesign/scripts/freeware/SeparatePages.jsx).

Make sure you read all the comments in the two articles. If you are unsure how to install a script, see How to install scripts in InDesign | InDesignSecrets

  • PDF spreads to single Pages, and then specify the display options

I have a big document InDesign implemented in 11 x 8.5 spreads. I need to export to PDF as single pages, but also to specify the display of the page as 'fit to page'.

If I use the print options, I can get single pages, but can't seem to specify the page display mode.  If I use the interactive options I can specify the display of the page, but all exports chemically instead of single pages.

    Am I missing something here?

    Not really. See http://indesignsecrets.com/interactive-pdf-from-indesign-cs5-always-has-spreads-on.php

There is a way to script down in the comments who will tip spreads and put out in the interactive export (Don't stop to the link to the script that separates the "spreads" apart).

  • Preview.app stuck on the first page of the PDF in single page mode

I regularly Preview.app view PDF files and want to use the "Single Page" function to display an entire page at one time. I have 'Single Page' display set as the default behavior.

Lately when I open a PDF file, they properly open the first page, but I am unable to navigate to another page via the drop-down page, touch up/down arrow. If the PDF file has a table of contents, I am able to go beyond the first page through it and then proceed to navigate normally. If it is not a table of contents, the only solution is to continuous scrolling mode and continue to navigate beyond the first page.

It's very annoying! Unfortunately, I can't remember where this started happening. It could be when I upgraded to MacOS Sierra, but I can't confirm.

    Everyone else see this behavior?

Hold down the Option/ALT key, then use the cursor to the TOP or to the BOTTOM of the key.
