• Tips on improving the graphics for the app for iPhone and iPad

  I'm creating an application for iPad and iPhone 4 and it looks terrible on the iPhone 4.

  I created the Flash file in Flash IDE with Movie CS5.5 size 1024 x 768 and I use the AIR according to the parameters of IOS:

  Rendering: CPU

  Device: iPhone and iPad

  Resolution: high

  All of my graphics are vector, so I assumed that it would be the crisp air on both devices. It is not as perfect as you are looking for on the iPad as it appears on my PC screen, but I can live with that. However, I can't live with the appearance of the iPhone 4.

  So I'm looking for advice on how to improve the appearance of the iPhone 4.

  As far as I know, there isn't a way to use the 2 sets of graphs, one for each device. Please correct me if this is wrong and she would offer me a solution.

  Do all the graphics in PNG would be a solution?

  BTW I use AIR 3.2 SDK if that has to do any and my graphics are static.

  Nice vectors will look depends on the setting of stage.quality. Try it on medium or high instead of low. In addition, CPU or direct is likely to give more beautiful than GPU vectors only.

  Can I create a simple application that loads different viewNavigators etc. depending on the size of the target device screen, or should I be looking at developing 2 different applications, one for the other for smart phones and tablets?

  For example on the shelves, we could use SplitViewNavigator and then on smart phone that we could use a series of theses or tab navigator or something more suited to the small screen.

  You must make a new application in the store. Apple won't let you replace an iPhone/iPad app with an iPad app, there must be a new list.

  You have to turn in my iPhone to work to my employer (which gives the opinion of my 2 weeks).  Got a new Macbook pro and iPhone staff.  I want to transfer some apps and their data from my old iPhone to my new iPhone.  How do I do that?  I made a backup of the old iPhone to new macbook.  If I restore my new iPhone, will not get ALL legacy applications?  I want to only those selected.  Anyway to do it?

  Apps are not stored in the backup of your iPhone.  (Data from applications, however, are stored here.)  Instead, a record of which applications you bought (and possibly the apps themselves) are stored in the code of the iTunes Store with your Apple ID.

  If you synchronize your iPhone using iTunes on your computer, your applications are probably stored on your computer.  In this case, open iTunes on your computer, go to the applications tab and choose "my applications".

  

  From there you can do a right click (or Ctrl-click on Mac) app and delete it if you wish.

  This assumes that you have overcome a problem of property.  Really, your employer has all that is on their iPhone.  It should, in theory, be a separate Apple ID used for your personal property and those who is owner of your employer.

  For some reason any airprint works 100% with my Deskjet 3054. I can print any document as long as there isn't any image in it. If I want to print a photo from my iPhone it just doesn't work. No matter which web page with heavy images will not print or the other.

  The departure of printer, loading paper, think about it, then an error message appears on my iPhone (I guess because it times out) and the only thing I can do with the printer is a cancellation then a restart.

  Any help much appreciated!

  Could you let me know what is the error? Also, after the reboot, that solve the problem? As far as I remember is not a particularly on AirPrint file size so I'm not sure why it would choke with a heavy photo paper.

• iMessage didn't activate account iCloud on Mini, ok on iPhone and iPad

  To from the topic March 7, 2016 (approximate, not exact date), unable to activate iCloud account on iMessage (version 9.2) on a Mac Mini, OS 10.11.3.  He has worked well with iCloud account active prior to this date.  Since the update OS 10.11.4 and problem persists. During an attempt to "activate" iCloud account in Messages, I asks me to connect with my Apple ID.  The name is displayed correctly, the password was entered correctly, then the password appears to be being accepted, the icon of iMessage in "accounts" screen turned on continuously for about 15 seconds, then a message: "could not sign on iMessage.  An error occurred during activation.  Try Again. "On the Panel to the screen in red, is a message"an error has occurred during authentication. "Messages has 3 other accounts currently activated;  using Jabber, Google Talk and Hello.

  Action taken:

  • I changed the name of the Apple ID account on all 3 devices, disconnected and signed again.  iPhone and iPad work very well and are synchronized;  iCloud on the Mini works for calendar and Contacts, but not Messages.
  • In the Messages, I turned off accounts Jabber, Google Talk, Hello and tried to activate iCloud, failed, same result.
  • I've disabled and turned off the Messages on iPhone and iPad, restarted both devices, turned on and Messages helped once again, with the same result, no resolution.
  • I've updated the operating system on the Mini to the most recent 10.11.4, restarted and no resolution.  Calendar and Contacts are synchronized between Mini, iPhone, iPad, but not Messages.

  Any suggestions?

  I have a HP 6500 e709n connected to a wireless router.  I installed the HP eprint app on my iPhone and iPad, and both work as expected.  I then installed the Printercontrol app on the iPad and the iPhone, but can't find the printer.  I get a continuous, the message of the printer search.

  I tried to unplug the router, but that didn t help.  I have the latest drivers installed on the printer and the router working properly. Also tried to uninstall and reinstall applications repeatedly, no help.

  Any suggestions on why the iPad and the iPhone can, t locate the printer?

• Downloaded from iTunes app does not appear on the iphone or iPad

  Download an app from iTunes.  It appears on my Apps for iPhone and iPad, but does not appear on the device.  I have devices connected to the computer via usb, but nothing works.  Any ideas?

  You can check the box full screen and select iPhone and iPad in the Device menu.

  You have the choice of the size of the stage that you use. Either have a size that is suitable for iPhone and additional content above and below the plate, or just for the iPad and have additional content on the left and right.

  These days, I'm doing the second option, because then the content works for Android devices as well. Thus, having a stage that is 1024 x 768, but include background graphics extra left and right edges of the stage. That will be happy then show when you're on an iPhone, and the whole scene is scaled down to having the right size.

  If you have lots of additional background, like for example 512 pixels on each side of the stage, it is sufficient to too much work for all current Android devices.

• Presentation of the iPhone and iPad in the same application - same product ID versions?

  I submit a DPS app with iPhone and iPad "renditions" today. Can I use the same product or more different ID for the sheets that I submit with each app?

  The two renditions are of the exact same content, they are free, so does not need approval of IPA, so I guess they must have the same ID?

  It doesn't really matter since the folios are free, but using the same product ID for one set a "renditions" folio is the recommended method.
