• All 4 printers have disappeared from the list of printers & faxes; reason & need help please!

  Good day to all! (I hope yours goes better mine has)

  When you try to access my internet postage program, I got a message that it was unable to initialize the printer.  When I checked the list of Printers and faxes in Control Panel... I find 4 all printers who WERE there yesterday... are now gone.

  (This excerpt shown below is extracted from the Microsoft support page & described EXACTLY my problem)

  • When you click Startand then click Printers and faxes to try to view your printers, no printers appear. This problem may occur even if you have a printer installed.

  I tried several times to use "Fix - it" Microsoft online service, and he could not solve the problem.  I just kep saying me he couldn't solve the problem.  It is absolutely No. MS supports available unless you have at least $59.00 or more to pay for trying to help!  "Terminal" and valid on a model of disability very limnited former fighters from one month to the other... I could not certainly not even begin to afford no paid... help unfortunately.

  I am NOT computer saavy and I don't any idea as well WHERE to start... much less HOW to solve this problem!  Unless I can get this printer spooler service, or something else... running... I can't even begin to try to re - install a printer I have.

  I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer!  I'm at the end of my tether here!  Thank you very much for your time and review!

• After reset done on MAC no printer in the list of printers, as well as the 'ADD' button is grayed

  After the upgrade to Maverick got the message "Printer not connected", but printer is connected to the network.  Followed the advice to remove the printer and Add.  Printer is not in the list of printers, so follow-up advice to reset the printer.  Now, no printers appear in the Printers list and the 'Add' button is grayed.  Printer is connected to the wireless network, has an IP address, but is not considered by the computer.  Have spent a lot of time trying to solve this problem. :

  Downloaded and reinstalled the HP driver.

  Removed from the printer.

  Reset the printer.

  Cannot add a printer.

  Cannot print.

  Stuck.  Help, please.

  Start the installation program, select Wireless and connect the USB cable when prompted. You should be able to get the printer connected to the network.

  Have you tried to download and use the driver provided by Epson for this printer?

  Windows 7 will install the drivers for some printers, but not all, and in many cases, the software installed does not have full use of the features of the printer.

  Remove printers from the list in the devices and printers sometimes takes awhile, and even a re-boot.  Uninstall will fail if there are no printed documents in the print queue in Windows to be printed.  You must delete this queue first.  There is a troubleshooting printer built into Windows 7 that can help too.

• Two entries in the list of printers MAC Applications - one prints wireless / the other does not work

  Just implement the 4630 and in the list of printers on the Applications, I have 4630 series and the 4630 [F4COCE].  Printed wireless and the other not.  I have the fax 4630 also but you have yet to try.  Why have I not two in the list of printers, and I would like to delete a?

  I see that you have two printers on your Mac, and you wonder why. I'm happy to help with this problem!

  In my view, the second printer that does not print wireless, is the connected USB printer. If you unplug the USB cable connecting the two ends of the Mac and the printer, it should show offline.

  Regarding the deletion of a printer, it's a personal preference, if you do not use the USB cable at all, I would personally delete the one which is not wireless.

  The fax printer is used for the fax from Mac.

  On one of my computers networked, HP "Solutions Center" said driver HP 6310xi printer is connected, the status of retail & will print their diagnosis directly report to the printer.  Windows 7 printer in network map poster, & gives status & installation information data information internal printer via IE by page (192.168.1.100) to the IP address of the printer.  However, control panel Windows 7 printer displays printer as "offline" on the list of printers & just policies of the print requests.  Troubleshooting gives error message "turn on printer monitor.  Other printers to print OK network.  Bad computer is on a different subnet in my home network with a wireless LinkSys WET610n connection bridge.  My network is totally LinkSys N.  Why Win 7 make a basic network connection to the printer, but not recognize it as a printer online?... HTC

  The printer can be reset and changed its IP address in the process [that's happened for me]. To fix this, go to the center of sharing of network &--> the map and click on your printer. This will tell you the IP address that your printer is running [the number which should be something like 192.168.1.xxx]. Then go into devices Printers &--> printer--> port--> Port TCP/IP Standard for your printer properties--> configure the Port. So, you want to change the IP address where it says "printer name or IP address" to the new IP address that you have found.

• My new printer does not appear in the list of printers

  I bought a new HP Officejet Pro 8715 and I had great difficulty it is set up to use. It seems the method to print and scan drivers has changed dramatically since my last new printer. HP supplies over a CD with the software, but rather is supposed to happen automatically via the Apple software when I plug in the printer. This was not the case.

  At this point, I have the printer (4 hours) work, but I can't get the software "Readiris' of scanning to work. Yet once again, I am told that if I just plug the printer via the USB port and turn it on, then the OS knows what software to load. In reality, he doesn't "know" or "do" something.

  I tried to configure manually by going to System Preferences > Print & Scan and then by clicking on the sign more to add the printer software. This will show you a huge list of printers, but the list ends with "Officejet Pro 8660." My printer is a 8715, so there is nothing for my printer. Installation of the software for 8660 did not help to solve the problem.

  Two questions:

  1. why list of Apple printers does not have my printer?

  2. How can I get the Apple software to see the drivers for my printer?

• How can I get Eudora to appear as an option in the list of default programs?

  Eudora does not appear as an option in the default programs or browser lists chained.  Is it possible to install it, or I have to go back to IE7 even once?

  Start Eudora as an administrator. Make sure the warn me when I start Eudora and it is not the default sender is enabled.

  Months ago, I installed and have been using an all-in-one Officejet 6700 Premium.  When I try to print, it wants to print to the fax.  I looked at list of Windows 7 available printers and it only shows the fax, and of course, this is the default value.  How 'install' the printer and value whether default Windows?

  I tried to add a printer, and the list does not offer the HP 6700 despite verification of Windows Update.  Help, please?

  I am filling a drop down field with the list of available printers. Here's what I have:

  This will fill a drop down with "Printer, printer, printer, printer" for each printer instead of the printer name (which is what I want).

  I get a drop of water to the bottom of the empty entries.

  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?  Exactly how does the printerList?

  It also takes to still in my system, so I would add the following line

  var pL = app.printerList;
  

  and pL to avoid multiple calls to the system. for example

  var arrayPrinterNames = [];
  for (var i = 0; i < iCount; ++i) {
            arrayPrinterNames.push(pL[i].name);
  

• Photosmart Prem C310: Printer does not appear in the list of printers - but is on the list of devices and printers

  I'm used to be able to print perfectly in any program.

  Now, I can print from Gmail - or I can print from this forum, however in Publisher or Word, or a genealogy program I use, the Photosmart is not one of the available printers listed.

  When I go to Device Manager, I can right click on all the printers I have and see a long list of options, such as set as default printer.

  But on the Photosmart, I right click and only get 4 options; create a shortcut, troubleshoot, remove the device and properties.

  I downloaded new printer drivers and went through Assistant support, rebooted, unplugged and replugged etc.

  I can't understand this one!

  Do you mean AirPrint? HP OfficeJet 6000 not support Apple AirPrint and there is currently no plan to enable AirPrint on this model. However, there are other ways to print from an iOS device. You can download the mobile application 'HP ePrint' Apple App Store, and the app can print photos, document PDF and MS Office documents.

• Printer disappears vista from the list of printers

  I have a Toshiba satellite with vista home laptop computer and a connected hp photosmart C7180.  I installed all the drivers from hp and it worked very well for three days.  Then I go to print and the printer is no longer an option under printers. All HP software are still there, but it can no longer access the printer.  I can ping the printer.  Someone has an idea whats going on?

  What is a USB connected printer?

  You can check if the USB ports are adjusted to go to sleep by clicking Control Panel > hardware and sound > Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus Controllers > hub USB root, and then click Properties.

  Hi deep

  You need to call a javascript function to create an event onchange on the selection list depends on the return value of 'other' (pThat) to allow your text field.

  You try to do a little too much at once.

  You need...

  Radio button - onchange - javascript funtion1 (to activate the selection list)
  Select list - function2 javascript onchange (to activate the text field)

  When I select Add Printer witout a CD (ie. windows update) it fails and says try again

  It is always recommended that get you the drivers for your hardware from the manufacturer site, in this way, you get the right driver and the updated driver.

  So, if you try to install a printer without the CD, go to the manufacturer site rather than trying to do it through Windows Update.
