HP f1905e monitor, connect two PC?

HP f1905e monitor has two inputs for video, a VGA the other DVI D.

I have two HP Pavilion PC: p7 1490 (product number: H3Z94AA #ABA) and a1540n (product # EX276AA-ABA)

The first PC has two outputs video VGA and DVI-D

The second video output only VGA.

Can I join the two PCs monitor HP f1905e in simultaneously, one for VGA input to the VDI of entry

on the monitor and switch between them with the keys of the ODS on the right side of the screen?

  • Tecra Z50 - need to connect two external monitors

I think to buy Tecra Z50, but one of the features that I need is the ability to connect two external monitors.

Is it possible to have a monitor connected to the HDMI and a VGA (with computer laptop lid closed)?

    * Hi-speed III Port Replicator is not an option, because it is not available in my country (Croatia).

    Hello

I don t think you will be able to connect two external monitors to this laptop using HDMI and RGB port at the same time because of different types of signals.

The RGB/VGA port supports analog signal.

The HDMI port provides the digital video output and when the external monitor is connected to the HDMI port the device is set to HDMI.

What of the Dynadock? Its an external device connected to the s for computer laptop USB port.
It supports own graphic unit and you can connect to another external monitor such Dynadock 2nd.

    1. do I need 2 x HDMI monitors? A DP HDMI monitor to use with different socket or adapter as well?  If you do not already have the monitors, I definitel would get both of them with HDMI connectors.  You will need a DP to HDMI connector:

    Hello

No, it's not possible to connect two external monitors.
If you want to split the screen, you can use the extended desktop option.
In display properties, you will find the option to extend my desktop on this monitor. You must select the second monitor and activate this option.

My office was purchased in 2007 and has the onboard nVidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 graphics. Is it possible to connect two monitors to this system?  There is only a single RGB connector on the back which is connected to my flat screen HP vp17 monitor.

Tuna, no.  Should upgrade you to a dedicated with two video ports video card (1 VGA port, 1 DVI or DVI 2).  According to the use of the computer, the video card may require an upgrade of the power supply, also.

Can I connect two monitors to a PC Tower?

Yes, you can connect two monitors to a PC Tower... but your PC should have several outputs that are concomitant supported and your monitors must have matching entries to make it work. If your system does not support multiple and simultaneous outputs there are other options to solve this problem.

You must buy a second video card or replace the one you have
with a card that takes in charge of two monitors.

  • My computer does not recognize that I have two monitors connected.

I have a VGA splitter cable, but even after I used the cord to connect two cords vga to a port, the computer is only noted one of the monitors. So when I go into settings to try to get them to display both, or to identify, the computer notice only a single monitor. So the problem is that my computer does not recognize that there are two put monitors in place.

Cable splitter separates the single signal only. The computer only sees it as an output. You would need a different video card use the two forms as separate monitors instead of simply split the signal.

I would like to connect two monitors to this laptop. The laptop has: 1-HDMI; 1 VGA.

This seems to be a slam dunk, it's not. They put the VGA and HDMI so close together that I can't connect both at the same time. It's as if they force the VGA or HDMI. • Dell XPS 8500 with 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7570 - how to connect two monitors or?

Hi, I got my Dell XPS 8500 today with the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7570.

Before buying the office, I read online that the AMD Radeon HD 7570 supports Eyefinity.   Eyefinity is supposed to be capable of supporting 4 monitors using the HD 7570 map by the description here: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7570/Pages/radeon-7570.aspx#2

When you look at the photos of the Dell XPS 8500 online I thought that Eyefinity support was to use a display in addition to the DVI port Port.   Specifically, I thought that a monitor has been supported by DVI monitors while 4 thru two supported using an active connection to the view port using a product like the DisplayPort Accell UltraAV K087B-005 / 3 x multi-monitor DVI - D single-link adapter.

To my surprise the graphics card came with an HDMI port, not a display port and I believe that HDMI port is a connection from one to the other, and not one of many display connection.   Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong on this point.   But if I'm not wrong then, this would imply that, at most, the Dell XPS 8500 with the AMD Radeon HD card 7570 can support up to only 2 monitors (one DVI port) and the other HDMI port instead of 4 monitors as described on the above link.

Others would agree with this statement?

Note that the Dell XPS 8500 also has a VGA connector on it but I tested it using a monitor on VGA and a monitor on the DVI connection and the computer that reported as an invalid monitor config.   Probably because the VGA and DVI connections are originally the same video display as connect two monitors to display even has no logical sense.

I have not tested the HDMI port for the second monitor again mainly because I don't have a spare HDMI cable on site at the present time.   I'll probably buy one tomorrow unless I see the comments of my post, specifying that a second monitor can be moved through the HDMI port on the AMD Radeon HD 7570 map...   I'd be surprised if that were the case (1 monitor system would be quite restrictive), but it is difficult to say with certainty, because the VGA and DVI connections at the same time have been marked by the computer as an invalid configuration...

Any thoughts on the different ways to configure multiple monitors with the XPS 8500 and the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7500 is appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Doug

If the card is not a display port is not an eyefinity card and cannot stand 3 monitors... it will be 2 monitors, no problem... I couldn't find anywhere on the site of Dell, where he says that the card was eyefinity... If you want 3 assumption of monitors you can buy a video card that supports.

Can use something like this HERE, or HERE, but it would be better to put a map, where you will have a better choice of connectors. I that you intend to use the HDMI, then you will need a something similar to what I proposed to make it work.

  • Cannot connect two monitors

For three years, I was able to have two monitors connected using Windows 7. Recently, I tried the upgrade to Windows 8 without success and returned to Windows 7. Now I am unable to get my monitors to work together. I watched the videos here to help me, but I'm unable to drag the pages or even my cursor

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Joseph,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to determine the root cause of the problem.

    1. What is the number and model of your computer and the graphics card?

    2. Have you tried to monitor primary as secondary and vice versa?

    3. All device drivers are updated?

Windows can detect automatically that an additional screen. If you connect two or more monitors, you must manually designate the primary display, arrange your desktop, and apply display settings, such as color depth and screen resolution. So, the next time that you connect these monitors, Windows automatically identifies the primary display and applies the settings that you previously specified for each additional display.

Try the methods mentioned below and see if it helps.

    Method 1

If you haven't tried Exchange monitors so I suggest you to try and see if the problem still occurs.

To change the settings of two monitors you can consult the links below:

Guided Help: Setup dual monitor is easy in Windows 7!

Change settings display on multiple monitors

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/change-display-settings-on-multiple-monitors

Note: This link is also applicable for Windows 7 .

    Method 2

If the problem persists I suggest you to update the display drivers. As the display drivers for two monitors are not the same, so try to update and check the status.

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.
