HP ImageZone is possible to work in Windows 7?

I upgraded to Windows 7 in large part because Microsoft's compatibility's pages show that my valued document feeding scanner (HP ScanJet 5550c) is fully compatible with Win 7, and that HP ImageZone which the scanner depends on is also fully compatible with Win 7 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Software&p=HP%20Image%20Zone&v=HP&uid=4&l=en&pf=9&pi=4&os=64-bit AND http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=HP%20ScanJet%205550c%20Series%20Scanner&v=HP&uid=C9919AA2L&l=en-GB&pf=0&pi=0&s=HP%20Scanjet%205550c&os=64-bit)

So I installed the scanner with the latest software, but HP Director does not work at all (necessary to manage the settings of scanning). Device Manager shows the scanner is installed and working properly. I tried to install HP ImageZone for Vista 64-bit, but my computer says that it has already installed a newer driver.

Is it possible that I can use HP Director in Win 7? I want to do it, if possible since I use a lot with his document feeder scanner.

Otherwise I own Win 7 Pro with its XP mode and able to uninstall the scanner and the HP software and re-install the XP mode. Does anyone know if this will give full functionality to HP Director?

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

FYI: I just open HP Image Zone Express 1.5.2.32 in Windows 7 SP1 x 86.

Just LEAVE your Windows XP installation in place and dual-boot.
Then open the Image Zone Express located in the XP partition.

I have not tried with the area Image full again, which is a larger facility (280 MB vs 9 MB).

It worked with another former program, ArcSoft Photostudio 5.5. as well.

A second option is to go 10 Windows.  Curiously, this former program ArcSoft for XP installed without any problem in Windows 10.

    Hello

I think that at the moment you can't do anything. Windows 7 is not released yet and also no drivers or utilities. You must understand that you need to wait a few more weeks because after the release of Windows 7 tools and drivers must be pre-tested.

If some Vista drivers or tools work on Windows 7 it s nice, but if not you can do nothing.

To answer your question, this camcorder USB Streaming feature is not possible with Windows 8 operating system. If you try to connect the camcorder to your computer Windows 8 using a USB cable, the camera will not be recognized by the computer.

To transfer the videos from the camcorder to your computer with Windows 8 operating systems, use an i.LINK (a.k.a firewire or IEEE1394 cable) cable or Audio/video provided (A / V) cable and software compatible video capture as Windows MovieMaker software.

According to the availability of the iLINK decision-making or A / V jack on the computer, follow the instructions provided in the links to transfer the videos below.

    i.LINK cable:

Once you have transferred the videos on your computer, you can use the software PlayMemories home (WPH) to organize the video files.

  • The minute of Silence - will not work on Windows 7 in compatibility mode

I just installed The Moment of Silence after not getting round to install in on my old XP laptop. It will run, citing that it needs to be played on a version from a version of Windows up to XP - compatibility does not work.

I searched other forums that suggest that it is a problem with starforce drivers, but they do not appear to be installed on my computer.

Is it possible to get this game to work on Windows 7 or should I give up?

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

As you mentioned, you have Windows 7 Home Premium installed, the suggestion to install Windows XP mode won't help.
However, you can contact the game manufacturer and check if they released the updates for the game work on Windows 7.

    Hope the helps of information.

  • HP laserjet pro p1102w: hp laserjet pro p1102w does not work on windows 10 - printer needs attention

I installed Windows 10 on my HP PavilionX2 about two weeks ago and after a lot of false starts but I finally going.  I set up my printer HP Laserjet Pro 1102w associated with the installation of HP application and got new drivers, etc.  The installation was successful.  When I tried to print.  I received the message that my printer requires attention. I use generic cartridges, which seems to be contributing to the problem.  However, I discovered that the printer would be finally print everything I sent him a few hours later.  So, every time I want to print I just ignore the message about needing to care, but I have to wait several hours before Windows 10 finally released the document for printing. I have no problems whether in point 8.1 of Windows.  It is new with Windows 10.

My printer works on three of my Windows 7 computers and on three of my computers windows 8.1 and on my iPad, so there is no truth to the message that the printer requires attention.  The printer works fine, but it does not work in Windows 10.  Microsoft Community is no help.  I reinstalled the drivers at least three times using the HP Setup utility. It was worthless.

Is it possible to fix this?

I would cycle power to the router, restart the computer and the printer to see if it will help.

It can be assigned to the printer port. Devices and printers, right click on the printer and left click on printer properties, select the Ports tab and see if the printer is checked on TCP/IP and no WSD. Let me know how it is listed.

Download and run the print and Scan Doctor, he will diagnose the problem and could solve it automatically.

Here is a list that the PSDR check on the computer.

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

If there is anything else I can help you, let me know. Thank you.

  • If I buy a copy of the oem version of Windows 7 is it possible to upgrade to Windows 10?

    * Original title: need help

If I buy a copy of the oem version of Windows 7 is it possible to upgrade to Windows 10?

Yes, you can upgrade from versions of Windows 7 OEM to Windows 10:

Please note that you must take advantage of the free upgrade offer before July 30, 2015.

You can find software OEM System Builder of dozens of online merchants. The current price for OEM Windows 7 Professional Newegg, for example, is $ 140. When I checked a few minutes ago, Amazon offered packages OEM Windows 7 Professional from several vendors at prices ranging from $ 101 to $ 150. When I checked earlier, a package specifically designed for reconditioned PCs cost only $ 50 for a 64-bit copy.

There is no technical limitation to prevent you from using OEM software on your computer, although this software only works for a clean install, not an upgrade. In the past, Microsoft has been remarkably inconsistent in his advice to clients on the question of whether this practice is allowed. (See "is allowed to use Windows OEM on your own PC? Don't ask Microsoft. »)

  • Soldier Of Fortune II - Double Helix will not work with Windows 7

    Hello

I recently downloaded the game Soldier Of Fortune II - Double Helix demo, but it won't work with Windows 7.
It worked with Windows XP, I searched on Google but I can not find the right answers and help.

Everytime I try, it says that it will not work and that it will shut down and they tell you when they find a problem... something like that.

It depends on your graphics card and system.

If its a NVIDIA card goes on the NVIDIA site for an ATI/AMD card, go to the website of AMD etc.

If the PC is supported by its manufacturer, take a look at their support pages.

Get the right ones for your GPU and the Windows 7 operating system, 32 or 64 bits.

Somewhere, there will be the latest drivers for your system. You basically just download them (from a known reliable source as above) and install them. In some cases, you may need to remove the old drivers first, then read all instructions. Set a restore point before installing.

As the game is pretty old, I doubt this will help. Its possible and is worth a try, but it's usually a "fix" to the problems with nine just released games.

PS - "the last thing I did not understand much... "- if you mean this little " also try other parameters such as the use of 640 x 480 and disable the composition of the bureau, ' it designates only the options settings in the Compatibility tab basically, try them all.

EDIT - just an extra thought: what is the exact error message? and if you run the program and then look in the event log after a failure to run, are there events errors or warnings listed at the moment, he fails?
