HP Laserjet: Need printers LaserJet A2 size

Hello, is there a postscript for A2 paper size container with all the features of HP Laserjet 5100.

No doubt, but the paper layer is really, really lite weight (though I think the same thing you are).  Probably equal to 12 pounds.  Moving through the standard pressure rollers can be difficult but everything is possible.  My biggest worry would be over-saturation of ink on this thin of a document.

For this question, I suggest that contact a specialist of HP products within this division.  These people know the home and abroad DJ series and how to change a unit to do whatever it is that you need to do.  I don't know if you need a DJ who could play a piano, they could make one for you.

I know that in print about our Center 7 years we had the DesignJet 100 + makes very thin blue-printing paper, we called "Onion skin" very well, but it was a completely different arrangement than what I specialize in.   The guys he used to a 24 x 36 print.

DesignJet of experts team is at 888.772.9897.

Good luck!  I'm sure you'll do just fine.

  • Need help optimizing Image size

    Hello... I am new to photoshoping...

    I need help help here...

    I'm working on a J2me application that uses the image of the map, since mobile phones have limited resources, I need to reduce the size of a map image as much as possible

    BUT the quality of the text (names of road) and roads must be preserved...

    Because they must be readable in mobile phone...

    So, what choices do I have?

    It has probably been used only 2 colors. This always proud image for allure, you will need 4 colors with the Color Table value adaptive or Perceptive to get a 288KO file (don't use not selective, it works well with this image). You can also try the application filter-> blur-> blur of Surface with a radius of about 25 and a threshold of 30 to simplify the picture. After you apply the Surface blur, the picture came out to about 268kb

    Edit: Scratch that I had my value 268kb with the size of the image intact

    I have a 1385 1386 IStock photo and I need to reduce to 245 by 300 using Photoshop Elements

    Normally, you'd Image > resize > Image size, check the resampling and enter new dimensions. However if you enter 245 x 300 it will distort the original square photo. So, I propose this method.

    1. image > resize > Image size. Check the Resample boxes and maintain Proportions. Enter the smallest dimension 245 in the width or height of the box; the other dimension will change accordingly. Click OK.

    2. Select the image: select > all.

    3 copy the selection to the Clipboard (edition > copy).

    4. file > new.  Create the canvas, 245 x 300 with the same resolution as the image.

    5. Paste from the Clipboard (Edition > paste). The image will be centered in the 245 x 300:

  • Increase in size of database extremely - need to monitor the size of the table

    Hi all

    I need help in the growth of the follow-up tables. It's that the database grows enormously from 192 G at 200 over five days, representing 5% increase in database size. The general scenario is that is that the db is growing 20% annually, but this increase in a week will cause future hardware problems.

    Please advice to find the tables that is still growing.

    Thank you
    DBA Junr.

    Hi Georges s/n, do not know if this will help you now, but I did something like this on a daily basis for about 3 years. Literally, I have the size of each segment on a daily basis for this time and can go back in the graphic history of growth. If I had the question you ask the subject that I would be able to tell you exactly what segments are developed. If you need this on a smaller time frame, you can change the data stored in the column "created_date' to all the hours I guess.

    Anyway, here's the create statement.

    create table db_segment_history
    (
      db_segment_history_id     integer not null,
      owner                 varchar2(30),
      segment_name          varchar2(81),
      partition_name        varchar2(30),
      segment_type          varchar2(18),
      created_date date default trunc(sysdate) not null,
      tablespace_name       varchar2(30),
      header_file           number,
      header_block          number,
      bytes                 number,
      blocks                number,
      block_size            number,
      extents               number,
      initial_extent        number,
      next_extent           number,
      min_extents           number,
      max_extents           number,
      pct_increase          number,
      freelists             number,
      freelist_groups       number,
      relative_fno          number,
      buffer_pool           varchar2(7)
    );

    create sequence db_segment_history_seq cache 1000;

    create unique index xpkdb_segment_history on db_segment_history( db_segment_history_id );

    alter table db_segment_history add ( constraint xpkdb_segment_history primary key ( db_segment_history_id )
    using index );

    create unique index ak1db_segment_history on db_segment_history(
         owner, segment_name, partition_name, segment_type, created_date );

    create trigger db_segment_history_bir
    before insert on db_segment_history
    for each row
    begin
         select     db_segment_history_seq.nextval
         into     :new.db_segment_history_id
         from     dual;
    end;
    /

    This is the insert / select that I use.

    insert into db_segment_history(
         owner, segment_name, created_date,
         partition_name, segment_type, tablespace_name,
         header_file, header_block, bytes,
         blocks, block_size, extents,
         initial_extent, next_extent, min_extents,
         max_extents, pct_increase, freelists,
         freelist_groups, relative_fno, buffer_pool )
    select owner, segment_name, trunc( sysdate ),
         partition_name, segment_type, tablespace_name,
         header_file, header_block, bytes,
         blocks, bytes/blocks block_size, extents,
         initial_extent, next_extent, min_extents,
         max_extents, pct_increase, freelists,
         freelist_groups, relative_fno, buffer_pool
    from    dba_segments
    where   tablespace_name in(
              select tablespace_name from dba_tablespaces where contents = 'PERMANENT' );

    commit;

    I hope this helps.

  • Need opinion on the size of the characters

    Hello

    Just a quickie here. I come from a background of web design, but my shot to a print job for a customer. I understand type in web and print can be treated the same, so my question is when are too small small catalog? I have a label about 200 x 50 mm for the design. Most consist of illustrations and text of small information. I don't have a lot of vertical space to work with and the work will take much of the space. Can I use 5 / 7 lead type for the informative text, or is this way too small to read comfortably? This product is intended for a young crowd.

    I saw the small containers of yogurt with the fine print, but since I'm not a print designer, I can't say exactly how big are these sizes just to watch. I'm in my 20s, so of course I can comfortably read small text. But how small is too small?

    There are a few questions here.

    (1) the readabilitly of a certain point size type, especially in small sizes, mainly depends on the font you select. point 5 (a fairly simple face without serif) Helvetica is much easier to read than 5 point Bodoni. Italic or oblique styles are much harder to read increasingly smaller sizes.

    (2) with the text of small size, pay attention to what color you print. The more readable would be 100% black with none of the other colors. Once you get associated with color or combination of colors, you should treat the Visual framing and same results even more, registration of the inks. If you retroconcevez impression, which is white on a background color, make sure that you use a bold style, otherwise your text may be unreadable and the darker the background color, the better.

    (3) the product can be for a young crowd, but you should not assume that all young people have perfect vision. I know that a lot of young people wearing bifocal glasses and America lens. And if the information that you need to print are essential to the proper use of the product, making it difficult to read for people who do not have excellent vision can expose you to legal problems.

    Sounds a little crazy, but what I would do is to take your design printed on the final size and give some elderly people, particularly some obviously wear glasses and ask them to legibility of your design. Better yet, to produce a few samples with different fonts and styles and see the reactions.

  • Need info on max size of HARD drive available for Satellite Pro M30-813

    Hello

    The question is mainly to be sent to Toshiba authorized support personnel. The limitation of the maximum size of a HARD drive internal that I could use with my Satellite Pro M30 - 813, what exactly?

    Recently, I bought and installed seagate SATA drive of 160 GB, on which I installed WXP Pro and have been running for a while with no problems. Recently, I've been copying large amounts of data to an external hard drive to my new internal drive, and that the files have been copied, as I noticed have about 50 GB of free space left, I knew windows "delayed write failed" and a failure of massive wall without the possibility to recover the data. The system would no longer boot time and the entire MBR has been damaged. As a result, I lost all the data on my new drive.

    Well, I realize that Toshiba is not responsible for additional hardware that I use with my computer laptop and who is not officially supported by Toshiba, I am sure that as an end-user of a Toshiba product, that I have the right to know a lot information of limiting size of HDD for my model of laptop. So I ask, representing technical support Toshiba to give me an official reply directly to my question.

    Thank you in advance,

    Andrejs

    (You can also contact me private my e-mail address)

    Hi Andrew

    > The question should mainly be addressed to Toshiba authorized support staff
    I think that you are in the wrong place if you are looking for a response from an authorized Toshiba support.
    This is a user to user Toshiba forum! You will here meet passionate and Toshiba laptop owner who share knowledge and trying to solve the problems, but no one of Tosh :(

    I could give my experience with Satellite M30 and HDD upgrade possibilities.
    To my knowledge the M30 Sat supports a 40 GB, 60 and 80 GB HARD drive for sure.
    In my opinion, you can use the 100 GB HARD drive, but more large HARD s drive will not run and works correctly.
    So go to a smaller size of HARD drive and enjoy the laptop!

    I've goggled a bit and found compatible drive HARD and part numbers
    HITACHI GBC000Z810-> 80 GB
    HITACHI GBC00014810-> 80 GB
    TOSHIBA HDD2188B-> 80 GB
    HITACHI G8C0000Z610-> 60 GB
    HITACHI G8BC00013610-> 60 GB
    TOSHIBA HDD2183-> 60 GB
    TOSHIBA HDD2184-> 60 GB

    I hope this might help you a little!

  • need to fix the size of the text

    Text size problem.  My cat ran across the keyboard and press a button that caused the text to shrink size.  I tried to fix it through the display settings, but it does not work.  Is there a key that I can hit to the size big enough to read?

    If you are referring to the size of the text in a Web browser, you can use the following commands.

    Press and hold Ctrl and press 0 (zero) to return to the default page size.

    In addition, you can also adjust the size of the page:

  • When I open a new window that is always smaller and I need to increase its size to fit my computer

    Also my zoom levels keeps changing...  I wen Custom and this changed to 100, but it keeps changing.  What can I do?

    Thank you

    Three options.

    1: take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.

    2: any shortcut you use to launch the window, right-click, and select Properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down list, choose "expanded".

  • Layer styles Photoshop - need better to create size?

    Hello!

    We worked on creating some Styles of layers Photoshop to sell as a set. We have created all the artwork, but when we downloaded the file was HUGE and it's only a game!  We wondered what would be the best size to create the layer Style, we looked for the forums and the internet without any response, we can't find a way to determine the size of an individual style or to extract this info. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you in advance!

    In the layer Style dialog box, hold mouse pointer over model and it will show you the pixel dimensions in the pop up window. Pixels per inch resolution (Image > Image size > resolution) plays no role, dimensions in pixels only.

    Image/pattern scaling model when developing style won't style smaller in size as Photoshop will copy original and save with style. If your overlay image is saved as a template 4000x3000px it will be saved as well as other layer effects regardless of the fact that you may have climbed it up to 10% for your final style.

    I created and published tile seamless models that are 4, 8, 12x12px in size and they are good for the web and communities of the Layer Styles which usually appears on the web. Imagine if you create something to feel where going 300 pixels on an inch then 2 pixels will be lost.
