HP m551: streak loosed on page

There is a random sequence hairline-3 1 / 16 "from the left edge.  I changed all the cartridges and the unit of transfer.

The transfer belt has a broom of wiper inside the metal plate that you see when you remove the belt. As the belt moves from right to left blade removes excess toner that has not been transferred on paper and a worm within belt system moves the toner to the bottle for waste water next to the toner on the left side. If that blade develops a defect then get brands of toner on the belt as it moves over the blade as some of the excesses of toner in the Auger system gets on the belt.  It is usually purple in color and which would be the color of the streak you get. If this is the case, the only way to fix is to replace the transfer belt and they are expensive. If the line is one of the 4 colors then it is possible, you have a problem with color toner cartridge and if you remove the toner you will probably see a line around the drum when the fault appears on the belt. Most of the time the problem is unfortunately the transfer belt and if it's the only thing you can try is to move the belt about 2 inches in the sense opposite hand and you will then see the excesses of toner appear under this metal plate. Clean excess toner then move the belt in a good sense for about 4 inches and look at the back to see if the line now begins to appear again. This procedure works only in maybe 5% of the cases like yours, but I guess it's worth a try.

    Why do I get streaks down the page of the copy only when you use the ADF an all-in-one HP Photosmart 6150 and not loading the original on the dish?

    Too bad. I solved the problem myself. I couldn't see the glass of 1 inch under the document feeder. There are lines from the rollers that I cleaned with alcohol.

  • Streaks M551

    I have a customer with a M551 leaves streaks on the page.  Here's what I found:

    -The streaks are black

    -Streaks are very wide and dark when the printer has not been used for a few days and greatly improves with multiple page printing

    -All ink cartridges have been replaced

    -There are no scratches or abnormalities on the cartridges

    -The streaks appear on the transfer belt, but it is just loose toner that can be wiped off with a tissue

    -There is loose toner on top of the yellow cartridge - it is just below where the transfer belt revolves around its roll
    -The cleaning cycle makes no difference

    -All the toner cartridges are HP original, and that's all that was used

    -This has happened for several months and the black cartridge has been emptied and replaced several times

    There is an attached PDF file showing streaks in their light version.  I could not get a page that I could share publicly with the really bad version.

    Any thoughts?

    Hello TrippB,
  • LaserJet 500 m551

    I have problems with the quality of the prints from my printer.

    I'm a black streak on each page.  Even on pages that don't have any ink on them.

    I replaced the black ink cartridge, but I still having the same problem.

    I also replacethe magenta cartridge.

    I used the page cleaning several times, and I still have questions.

    It looks like the contamination of the intermediate transfer belt.  Can you open the right door and remove the transfer belt to see if there is contamination in the belt causing this line?

    In order to remove the transfer belt, follow these steps:

    Open the right door Assembly.

    Use the blue lever to lower the transfer package.

    Enter the small handles on the transfer belt and then pull the ITB out of the product.

    If that's the problem, the issue could disappear after printing several pages or transfer belt needs to be replaced.

  • HP photosmart 8250 test page has color photos and cyan lines

    I have a HP photosmart 8250 which had a paper jam, and then I got an error message that says the print carriage was stuck and deserved to be deleted. I set myself with the help of HP printed tips on this Web site. But now, with a test print, it shows cyan streaks a horizonal while all other colors are OK. These horizonal trails in cyan cause photos to be striped. I put in a new cyan cartridge, and it's the same horizontal sreaks in images. Don't know if a manual of instructions for my printer that would be discussed or not.

    Tom

    I already reported this, my color cyan in HP Photosmart 8250 printer was streaked in my page series of tests, and the images are out streaked. HP had resolved just before my problem on this part of the aid of their website which began as with a "paper jam" error message, which quickly turned to an error message "unlock the printer cartridge. I followed HP suggestion for this, by opening the plastic top/door on the ink cartridges, then open the next door plastic inside and the movement of the cartridge that has been on the far right, left, as the instructions said and I saw a little piece of paper that I removed with a pen to write with the cap on.  I printed the test page, and then the color cyan was marked. HP said, do not have it in front of me now, but use the print mode 'Best '. And the streaks in the cyan color went. I ordered a new printer, HP, of course, because of the quality and the helpline in part, and it sits in my living room, unboxed, now, because my old printer does not work. HP just helped lined themselves on a sale. I'll send a new back. Thank you for everything.

  • Preload an image in a page based on a model

    I have a fairly simple problem here, there must be a simple solution. I hope!

    I have a site whose pages are all based on a model of DW. On each page, there is only one image (a different on every page) I want to have preload. It is not part of all bearings but is an important graphic element and it's distracting that it is the last to load each time. All I want to do is add to the list of prestressing in each page of the < body > tag, but I am unable to do so is not an editable region. I tried to go in the model and the addition of an editable region or as an option within the < body > tag, but it doesn't let me do and inserts it after the tag.

    I don't want to loose my pages of the template, I'm sure that the customer will have to future changes - the scale of the site.

    How can I do this? Thanks in advance for any help.

    > I tried to go in the
    > model and adding an editable or optional region to the breast of theTag, but
    > it doesn't let me do and inserts it after the tag.

    the editable regions cannot contain the head or body tag.

    Select the body tag in the quick tag selector (left margin of the lower part of the design
    window)

    then go on change--> models--> add editable attribute
    and add an onload attribute.

    in the page of the child, use edit-> model parameters to add the preload.

    Use or some other preloader javascript inside an editable region in the
    Head section.

  • Problem with tables

    Hi all!

    I was doing a simple practic, it is a random 3D Board and the problem is that I can't properly use the index in real time with random numbers.

    Here you have two VI, the first is simple, it is a 3D picture, but if you want, you can change the rows or columns and you will see the element changing to the same table 3D.

    But in the second is the problem, here's another 3D painting, but it is filled with random numbers, and when filling it finished start more and, instead, I see all the loose of the original 3D array.

    How could I do that the picture of random origin remains until I want to generate the following, and before that I then generates the one that I can get all the digital changig loose control (pages, rows and coulmns)?

    Your VI is run once and then stop. If you want to update you choose index different values then you must encapsulate this part in a while loop with a stop condition.

    When you want to generate a different set of random numbers click the stop button, and then rerun the VI.

    I suggest you only start by reading some tutorials online on LabVIEW programming. They should teach you the basics.

  • Office Jet Pro 8600 Plus scanning issues

    I had my Office Jet Pro 8600 more for a few months and have been scanning a pretty good volume without problems.  Now, I have what I believe to be a their material.  That's the problem.  I'm getting random LARGE band (broad sense) about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of black, gray, or white streaks down the pages.  I had the problem of cleaning so I cleaned everything, always there, but not every time.  So I raised the lid and set the paper on the glass, guess what still there.  So now I know that it is NOT a problem of cleaning.  Switch papers, always there.  Is not a problem of cleaning, not a charger problems, not paper I'm scanning.  At this point, the only thing I can think is that some of the scanning light is on the fritz.  It seems to do better after a rest and as I said it comes and goes.  Any ideas anyone?   I think that this could be a problem of default.  Please let me know.

    Hey Boefixepa,

    If the printer is to give you a black line when scanning/copying with the ADF and flat, then I would hazard a guess that the printer is connected to a surge protector.  If so, then try the following steps.

    * Unplug the printer while on

    Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the surge protector

    * Wait 60 seconds

    * Plug the printer back to power on a direct outlet

    The 8600 does not need to have a surge between her protector and the wall unit has protection against overvoltages, built in.  Being doubled surge protection can sometimes cause this type of line to appear using the 8600.  I hope this helps.

  • Muse moving around objects when published or previewed

    This has been driving me crazy. I've seen a lot of posts on this topic, but without real answers here! I also spent hours in a chat room with a specialist of the Muse who had virtually nothing to say to help me with this problem. Muse continues to loose my pages when I publish them. Boxes to move, spacing gets screwed up. I can't take more. I sent support Muse twice but no response. I have messaged also a REP here, also unanswered.

    Here are some screenshots to show you what is happening:

    IN MUSE:

    IT. IS. AT THE WHEEL. NEM NUTS. What is the problem here? Help, please!

    I guess that this response did not help?

    Zak Williamson 3 days there are

    It seems that you solved the problem? Or is there a layout problem that I do not notice?

    The most common cause of differences in page layout is the differences in text layout engines and fonts between browsers and versions of browsers and devices.

    The exact height of text frames are drawn in Muse design compared to the height of the actual text in the frame is important. Exactly how (and if) the objects overlap or one containing entirely in Muse design is important. Finally, how items are grouped in Muse Design effects view how the HTML is generated and can be a tool to control how your pages respond to differences in presentation between the browsers and devices.

    Given your specific Visual design, some recommendations will reduce the probability of change:

    (1) be sure text frames are drawn larger than the text they contain, so that no dotted line appears in the text blocks (which is an indicator of the minimum height for the text block set). If a line of minimum height appears, then if the text is slightly shorter when placed in the browser which will result in the block of text shrink in height and below things moving upward and/or things that contain also shrink in height.

    (2) grouping use to create horizontal bands to your image buttons. Grouping in this way causes fluctuations in height or the position of the objects entirely above the band grouped to move all of the Strip facing upwards or downwards. Without such grouping that muse is biased towards the creation of columns such as something above to change the height only impact the position of the elements of (approximately) directly below.

    (3) be sure that header text frames do not overlap your buttons. If they do, they can move either vertically when no content above moves or they may change position without also changing the elements below them.

    None of these answers is really specific to the Muse. When you work on the web text is online and how it sets out will vary from a browser. The structure of the generated (or hand coded) HTML needs to be informed as to how you want things to react when these changes occur. Muse does its best to automatically do the right thing, but cannot in all situations and not done as well as the information contained in the provided schema. If there is overlap involuntary or minimum text frame heights game, the layout is more likely to not respond as expected/desired when occur variations of page layout.

  • Paragraph content display

    Hello

    I can able to display the first paragraph and the last paragraph contained in the page (if I only textframe in the page). My problem is if

    I have more than one block of text, that means that if I have 3 text block, I want to display the first first subparagraph third and content textframe textFrame

    the content of the last paragraph. I struggle with this onle could someone help me.

    Current script of rock begins by identifying the block of text of interest using the selection. It's great for testing of concepts, but it does not get you very far in a production script.

    Your three-step approach assumes that the 'last' image on the page is lower to the bottom of the page, but it could be three boxes side-by-side identical height.

    Because they are threaded, I would use that to make this work. Presumably, the ultimate goal is to put the content of these paragraphs useful somewhere (for example a title common - although you can use variables of text for this).

    Here's one approach: it assumes that none of the history management are in groups or online.

    //DESCRIPTION: Get Contents of First & Last Paras on Pages of Story

    (function() {
         if (app.documents.length > 0 &&
              app.selection.length > 0 &&
                   app.selection[0].hasOwnProperty("parentStory")) {
              var myParas = getHeadsTails(app.selection[0].parentStory);
              for (var j = 0; myParas.length > j; j++) {
                   alert(myParas[j].page.name + "\nhead: " + myParas[j].head + "tail: " + myParas[j].tail);
              }
         }
         function getHeadsTails(story) {
              var paras = new Array();
              var frames = story.textContainers;
              var pageRecord = new Object();
              pageRecord.head = frames[0].paragraphs[0].contents;
              curPage = frames[0].parent; // assumes frames are loose on page
              pageRecord.page = curPage;
              for (var j = 0; frames.length > j; j++) {
                   if (frames[j].parent != curPage) {
                        pageRecord.tail = frames[j-1].paragraphs[-1].contents;
                        paras.push(pageRecord);
                        var pageRecord = new Object();
                        pageRecord.head = frames[j].paragraphs[0].contents;
                        curPage = frames[j].parent;
                        pageRecord.page = curPage;
                   }
              }
              pageRecord.tail = frames[j-1].paragraphs[-1].contents;
              paras.push(pageRecord);
              return paras
         }
    }())

    To make this useful script, you will need to do something smart with the values returned by getHeadTails. It would be smarter this function return the paragraphs mentioned rather than the content of paragraphs.
