HP Microserver G7 N54L / NIC drivers

Hi all

I bought a HP Microserver G7 N54L and installed Windows home server 2011.

Windows does not recognize the HP network card.

The network card is NC107i PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet.

A does anyone know where I can find the driver for this card?

Thank you

Chris

Hello:

Yes, I have attached below...

Download, unzip and install manually the smbus controller driver that I tied under attachments below.

Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder that you unzipped.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.  Then restart.

    Hello

I hope that this message is in the correct section - closest to you that I could find.

I recently bought a Proliant Microserver g7 n54l and installed a card RS232 and Windows 7 Professional. System works well for the access control software, I installed on it.

My problem: the microserver goes mode sleep after a few hours and must be reported by physically pressing the power button. I disabled the day before, put into hibernation and standby in Windows 7, but that DOE not help.

    Help, please?

-are there a setting in the BIOS?

-is it a ti software install

They get the extent of starting in WinPE and attempts to load the network drivers. Then hangs on and PC restarts. I solved this by using the excellent site of Niall Brady: http://www.niallbrady.com/2011/08/31/missing-nic-driver-in-winpe-boot-image-no-problem/ downloaded 38 drivers of catalog.update.microsoft.com - pm base Tester WMI extracted code like PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_15a2. Hi, I called Dell and had them replace the internal card ac in my system - questions of micro studder have since disappeared. Note that I have extended overnight guaranteed in the House supports so it was a miracle... If I had to send your device I would be pretty ticked... Good luck. I proved that it was the internal card (even when talking to dell technicians) based on the fax that my external USB wireless card has worked flawlessly in the same games, while the ac adapter has been disabled.

I installed 2008 R2 x 64 as a guest operating system on ESX 3.5. The NETWORK adapter is displayed but no driver and install vmware tools has nothing. Where can I get the x 64 drivers for 2008 R2 x 64? The esx perhaps U1 or U2.

    Hi COS.

2008 R2 is not supported before the update 5. You can try to configure the virtual NIC to e1000 and install new VMware tools.

    Good luck.

  • Satellite P70 - Has BIOS reflash / Wireless NIC drivers

    Hello

I currently have a few problems.

The first is that I can't get into the BIOS. To give you the full story, that I recently lowered the mark 8.1 for Windows Windows 7 and I've updated the BIOS in the process (v1.50). The system is usable, but when I restart and try and get into the BIOS I just get what looks like a line that is corrupted by the middle of the image and it just stays there.

I tried to re - flash but with the BIOS being the same version it does not.

Also I can't seem to find the wireless drivers - I've tried Realtek, Intel and the Atheros ones and none works. It could be related to the issue of BIOS, but I'm not sure.

Any ideas on how to get either in the BIOS or the fixed wireless?

    Ta!

    > Also, I can't find the wireless drivers - I've tried Realtek, Intel and the Atheros ones and none works. It could be related to the issue of BIOS, but I'm not sure.

You should go to Device Manager and should expand the area of network controller.
If the WLan driver has not been installed, you should see an unknown device or Ethernet card marked with yellow exclamation point.

To get information on the WLan module built in Notepad, you should check the PROVIDER and the DEVICE ID.
With the help of the miniPCI database shouldn't be a big problem to get the driver for this add-on.

    Details CIHI;
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD0302U00000R01.htm

    With regard to the BIOS:
I can't imagine that there is something wrong with the BIOS. In the event that the BIOS update procedure would fail, the laptop would not be usable.

However, BIOS problems are still serious issues and a downgrade of the BIOS can be done by the partner of service only.

  • NIC for WinPE drivers?

    Hello

I am trying to learn the different methods for installing Win7 and some require the use of the WinPE environment. However, I need to be able to insert NETWORK card drivers in the WinPE image that works with the drive.

Does anyone have a link to the drivers download - or know the name of the file if it is in the installation of VMware?

WinPE should have the driver for the virtual E1000 network adapter - so you shouldn't have any problems and do not need to do anything.

Here I use WinPE much and never had any problems with the nic drivers

  • Need drivers and specific information for laptop

I'll tell you right from the beginning that I am a fool.

I started the Windows 8 for Windows 7 downgrade because my wife did not like the new Microsoft operating system. However, I do not watch list all components and Device Manager information until I started the process. So now I'm stuck.

    Info:

    Laptop: Touchsmart 17e123cl

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Chipset: AMD A8 - 5550M 2.10 GHz APU

Graphics card: Radeon HD integrated graphics

The main problem that I face, is that I have no usable documentation; the laptop was purchased through Staples. Therefore, I don't have the sheet I need to download the appropriate drivers for components that do not work.

    Drivers needed (see screen capture):

    What I tried:

I tried to go to AMD and download the drivers from the chipset, but all that I continue to be directed is the downloading of catalyst. I have download the latest stable (14.4) and I am still with a controller Bus missing SM, USB controller and an unknown device (not to mention the Realtek NIC drivers are not no longer works).

    Question (s):

Where I can I see/download the plug of this machine so that I can find and download the correct drivers? In addition, what is this unknown device? And finally, once I have Windows 7 running as it should, how can I recover the lost space of recovery partition Windows 8?

Thank you all in advance for your help!

  • Wired NETWORK card drivers for Elitebook 8540p

    Hello

I am trying to load the NIC drivers of (non - wireless) on my HP Elitebook 8540p; It has Windows XP x 32.

    I'm looking here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=4096173&...

I have tried everything that involves it linked to a LAN driver (not wireless):

Intel PROSet and Driver for XP MS 15.1.1.1 utility

HP TravelHub and LAN Drivers 2.4.8.0

Driver Intel 82577LM and 82577LC Gigabit Ethernet

None of them have worked.  I ran the installer and also tried manually, go to the drivers and install through the Device Manager interface.

    None have worked.

Any idea what I need to download the correct drivers?

    Thank you

    Hello:

It is one or two things...

    1. you switch LAN/WLAN enabled in the BIOS, and you do not have a wired network cable right now.

Disable the LAN/WLAN switching and wireless and wired adapters appears in Device Manager.

    2. you have LAN enabled in the BIOS power saving Mode. This setting disables the LAN card when the laptop is not connected to the a/c power, and you're driving on the wireless network.

Disable the LAN power saving Mode and will always be the card cable system in the Device Manager, plugged in or not.
