HP Mini 1000: fatal error for SN (personal information by moderator) - HP Mini 1000
Striking F10 I am asked to enter the "current password". I tried what I think, it should be, but it won't work. After 3 attempts there is blocking gives me me error fatal... System stopped. I also try to run the startup process after having turned on the mini and it says I must register my windows. I click Yes to do it, but get an error in Google and it remains in the window of HP screen and won't do anything else. Any suggestions for a fix? I tried several previous codes mailed with no luck. I recently noticed (lika many other users) that older versions of Skype are no longer supported and cannot connect.
So I decided to download and install the latest available version, only to receive a very strange error at startup: "unable to get the address of procedure for GetLogicalProcessorInformation (KERNEL32.dll).
I have to admit that I use a very old PC spec: AMD Athlon XP2200 + with 1 GB of Ram and Windows XP SP2.
Is there anything I could do to make it work again?

You need to update your installation of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3).

However, your PC has an old processor (AMD Athlon XP2200 +), which has no support for SSE2 instruction set. With this processor, no version of Skype available allow the video on your PC.

I can't set up an Officejet J4580 during installation. The USB cable is fine. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The software is downloaded successfully, then I get a fatal error. I try the "HP Instalation Windows 7 error", which is downloaded by HP on my desk and steps fail. Can someone advise me? The printer works with windows 7 Home - 32 bit.

Windows Live Hotmail asks for personal information by e-mail
I received numerous emails saying that they come from Windows Live Hotmail, asking for personal information, including my password, date of birth, etc. The messages say that they update of files and I need to send this information, or my account or my account will be deleted. Do you really send these emails, or is this some kind of scam? Computer experts I spoke say that these messages would be never sent any reliable organization and will never respond to these requests for information. What do you know about this?
