  I have a HP Mini 110-4110sc with broken HARD drive on my hands here and of course without recovery of support has been created by the owner when bought.

  Also, I found discussions on this forum regarding the download of the image and media creation of USB via HP MIE restore Image Creator covered here so I followed the procedure on page of download here, but the CRUMB image creator is all simply not in the list, and I can't find anywhere else... Any ideas?

  Try to replace the hard drive in the mini 110-3131DX...  I have a replacement... How to open the case.  I see an orange scroll bar in the compartment to batteries, but no lids or screw to take out to remove.  He has a solid without opening basis except where the battery is removed.

  If you have not read the procedure to remove the HARD drive in the service manual, I recommend it.

  Chapter 4, starting on page 41. You will be referred to in other sections like remove the battery and the cover of sevice.

  Let's first, remove the battery and unplug the power adapter and leave without electricity for a minute... then reconnect and see if it is eaten on.

  Yesterday, I tried to connect my keyboard to my mini HP numbers, but it did not work.  I am sure that the problem is the driver, as I was able to connect to my HP laptop with Vista, without any problem.

  The keyboard is a keyboard of ten Note X TK01 USBM.  In the back are the words "Arvel TK01 = USBM Ten keyboard, S? N 990500424, made in China.

  Dear Brigitte, it was one of those anomalies that solve themselves.  After trying several times, I found the pad of numbers worked so I replugged it it after that I received the error message.  Second time around, it works fine.  JC
