HP Mini 110: Lack of Wifi/Ethernet card drivers

I am currently having the same problem as the OP of this thread:

http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/other-notebook-PC-questions/HP-mini-110-missing-network-adapter-driver-...

Recently, I reformatted the HARD drive and installed a new version of Windows 7 Starter and could not find the right drivers for the wifi/ethernet cards to work.

The hardware for the ethernet controller ID is:

PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_148A103C & REV_04

And the hardware for the network controller ID is:

PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_002B & SUBSYS_30A11895 & REV_01

Hello:

What is the number of full model of your mini 110?

The drivers you need are on the support page for your specific model.

Driver Realtek Ethernet (LAN).

PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136

Atheros Wireless LAN driver.

PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_002B

Check the download page for this model does not work, here I find drivers for the graphics and sound cards, but no ethernet driver.

Happier if you can send me this driver or can tell me where to find it for download.

    Hello:

The form of State that your PC comes with Windows XP as operating system, correct?

The motherboard plug indicates it has the chipset nForce 2.

You will need to install the nForce 2 chipset driver that will load the network driver as well as other drivers of the motherboard.

  • Restoration of the Ethernet card drivers

Hi all. There is a solution and apply. There seems to be a common problem with WPA Wireless does not not after installing SP3. I've been through it some time ago and learned that this problem can be resolved to move back to their previous version - released 7 Ethernet card driver.

My problem is after reconstruction my T40, I can't find anywhere to download an older version of the Intel PRO/100/1000 LAN card - all I can find is the most recent. Anyone know where to get hold of older versions?

    Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! This one might work, give it a shot: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-54046 after you download it, you must go to C > drivers > win > Ethernet and run the Setup file from there. Good luck and we keep abreast.

  • HP Mini 110 - 3714tu Windows XP 32 - bit Drivers

Hello everyone, I got this netbook for some time. Installed Win7 for many time, but after a few days, it becomes slow. So I decided to install windows xp. With great agitation, I created a Windows XP SP3 bootable USB. After installation I got such a shock seeing the HP does not have 32-bit WinXP drivers for this model. What it offers is Win7 32-bit or 64-bit drivers.

I hope someone can help me with this. You can find a full description of my model here:
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02842860

    And the drivers here:
    https://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4062&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=510...

I was able to find the windows XP Intel display driver easily and it worked perfectly. Help please for other things namely Audio, Bluetooth, WLAN, LAN and Touchpad.

    Thank you and best regards,

    John Dalton.

OK, so aparently HP did not provide drivers for Win XP officially on the Web site. But all the drivers worked for me to install them manually. Some Vista drivers and others were of Windows 7. But they all work on the manual installation. This means that when I installed them via the update driver option Device Manager. Extracted the drivers, then installed by the driver update utility in this directory.

But the official LAN drivers will not work. Pilots, said PAUL worked perfectly without any impediment what so ever!

  • PCI Ethernet card does no not after PCI slot

I have a card to PCI Ethernet D-Link DFE-520TX in one of the PCI slots and connected to a Linksys router.

I wanted to install a new sound card so I changed the Ethernet card to an adjacent PCI slot. (without uninstalling the Ethernet card)

After you install the sound card, I found that I am not able to connect to internet!

These are the observations I made:

The connection icon says "Limited or no connectivity."
When I click on icon of connection, status shows bytes sent/received something like that...
    Bytes sent: 4536 Receieved: 0
The IP seems to be assigned by AutoIP.

I tried to uninstall the Ethernet card drivers and install again for the new PCI slot but no luck

Finally, I gave up and restored the adapter Ethernet to its former PCI slot... and surprise, his does not work here too!

A I miss out on something?
Any help with this would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    His work...

In fact the IP, DNS etc. had been configured manually.

When I removed the LAN card, all fields has scored zero, I wasn't expecting that to happen!

    Thanks anyway!

  • Mini 110 and driver OfficeJet Pro 8500 wireless

I have an OfficeJet Pro 8500 909 g installed a few months, and it works very well with three laptops from Dell and a Dell desktop computer using the wireless connection.  Then, I bought an HP Mini 110 and tried to install the drivers for the 8500 from the disk provided with the 8500.  During the system check that the installer has determined that the screen resolution of 1024 x 576 of the Mini 110 was insufficient and demanded a screen resolution pass at 800 x 600.  Tried installing online - same problem w / ground 1024 x 576.  Got in a chat online with an HP technician - it offered to download and install the HP DeskJet 990c driver and gave me clear instructions on how to do so, claiming that he was 'the solution '.  While I am has not opposed in principle to 'the solution', I asked too many questions and either it bailed out put or the session has expired.

    The questions are:

    (1) the 990 c driver is actually a viable solution?  Some other threads I've read indicate that "mixing and matching" printers and drivers can have unexpected and unwanted results.

    (2) I've read how to 'force' a change of screen resolution of 800 x 600, which probably (?) will I would install the 8500 drivers - but what happens if I change the sdcreen back to 1024 x 576 ground?  The ration of aspect printer or the print size or appearance get all messed up?

    (3) why does it matter even the resolution of the screen?  Is it a question of WYSIWYG?  If it does so then 1024 x 576 ground is going to be a problem w / almost any printer, is not?

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Don

The software requires a minimum of 800 x 600 resolution so that the HP software can be completely visible on the screen. If the vertical resolution is less than 600, then there is a chance of the window not being is not completely visible, and so you may have problems using the scanner software. Follow the document below to force the resolution to 800 x 600 temporarily to install the software. Once you change the resolution back to the native, the software will work, but the window CAN be cut and not be entirely visible.

  • HP Mini 110-4112ea with the atheros wireless card will not connect to internet

I just bought the above and tries to connect to the internet via my router netgear wndr3700 but cannot make it work. network is the following: Mini 110--->---> Virgin (netgear) supplied wndr3700 router modem (also wireless)---> internet

Although it shows as having internet in network & sharing Center it just connects and applications like Skype and Norton does not connect. When I give the wndr3700 with ethernet cable that works very well. Also if I join WiFi on a blank area, that's OK. I just want the Mini 110 to attach the wndr3700 wireless and give access to the internet as it should and other PC at home do. I installed the latest drivers from the HP (sp54972 - version 9.2.0.444) site but nothing helped. Help, please!

Right - I myself solved by finding the relevant info on the Netgear forum. This article describes change some settings on the Netgear router. For the benefit of someone else knows the same or similar problem and for the technical gurus at HP, that's what I did:

Activate these settings in the configuration of the QoS.

Activate -WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) parameters (b/g/n 2.4 GHz) (box)
Activate -WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) parameters (5 GHz a/d) (box)

(in my case I need not turn on WMM for the 5 GHz band, but just in case I need it in the future I did anyway...)

Don't ask why it works or what it means: it works!

  • HP Mini 110-3000: after formatting wifi network icon missing

    Dear Sir.

I have HP Mini 110-3000. As there is problem in my original preloaded operating system so I formatted and installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit operating system.

After formatting, find it me impossible to see the wireless network icon in my tray instead it is another icon that is used to connect to the internet using a LAN cable.

    What is the problem?

    Hello:

Go to Device Manager and look at the list of devices it.

Is there a device listed in the Device Manager, labeled as a network controller?

If so, this is the wireless card that need to install the driver.

If you don't know which driver you need for the wireless card, please report it to the listed hardware ID of the device that you see as a network controller.

To find the hardware ID, click the network controller device.

Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the window network controller.

Now you will see a drop-down list of property, and it will be set to the Description of the unit.

On this list and select the 2nd item (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window.
