Restoration of the Ethernet card drivers

Hi all. There is a solution and apply. There seems to be a common problem with WPA Wireless does not not after installing SP3. I've been through it some time ago and learned that this problem can be resolved to move back to their previous version - released 7 Ethernet card driver.

My problem is after reconstruction my T40, I can't find anywhere to download an older version of the Intel PRO/100/1000 LAN card - all I can find is the most recent. Anyone know where to get hold of older versions?

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! This one might work, give it a shot: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-54046 after you download it, you must go to C > drivers > win > Ethernet and run the Setup file from there. Good luck and we keep abreast.

    Friends,

Working on an a130 Pavilion where the drive crashed suddenly, I need a driver for the ethernet card on this machine. Time is tight, so to speak, so I hope that I can find and have the PC online before Monday. Check the download page for this model does not work, here I find drivers for the graphics and sound cards, but no ethernet driver.

Happier if you can send me this driver or can tell me where to find it for download.

    Hello:

The form of State that your PC comes with Windows XP as operating system, correct?

The motherboard plug indicates it has the chipset nForce 2.

You will need to install the nForce 2 chipset driver that will load the network driver as well as other drivers of the motherboard.

  • Need the correct driver for the ethernet card internal on a Pavilion DV9718ca.

I downloaded all the drivers for this particular laptop and install. The ethernet card is showing a code 10 in device running Vista Ultimate Manager. The pilot says that it is a Nvidia. I can't seem to find anything on this model especially regarding the ethernet card and drivers, even on Google. Thanks in advance.

  • Is there a speed limit on the ethernet cards?

Hey guys do you have an idea who is at - it a speed limit on the Ethernet cards, because I can use the P2P so fast that, after awhile, my internet connection is stopped as, I can't do anything unless I unplug, wait a while and connect again. Don't you think that it is a hardware or software problem?
By the way: my Ethernet card is Marvell Yukon 88E8036 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller.
I need your help. Thank you.

    Hello

In my opinion, if you have some problems with the internet connection the reason should not be any kind of speed limit but also other different reasons.

In your ad, you're not mentioned that you do exactly. You write e-mails or do the download of two different movies and many mp3 files?

As far as I know if you do the full download the connection can be slowed or even stopped by FAI. Is your cable may be defective. The LAN cable has 8 lines and if one line is faulty speed will fall automatically.

I also recommend you use a malware scanner and check the unit.

  • How to detect the duplex and the current speed of the Ethernet card?

Hi, is there a tool to measure the current Ethernet card speed and duplex? I remember we had one for XP, but it does not work on Win7.

    Any thoughts?

Specifically, I need to make sure my router and my NIC to work together without duplex mismatch.

You will never see these actual speeds anyway. They are all theoretical maximum speeds. The only way to find your actual speed is a test of speed through your Internet access provider. Frenchie

  • HP laptop i3 1000 product number: C8C94PA #UUF problem with the graphics card drivers.

I initially was running Windows 7 Home basic 64-bit on my laptop. The version of the graphics card is Intel HD 3000, I think. Following the crash of my windows, I installed Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. Now when I open the HP Support Assistant, it's my graphics card adapter Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. Furthermore, none of my games begin.  When I try to install the original graphics driver for my laptop, available on the internet, he said that my phone does not meet the requirements for the installation. All solutions?

    Yes.

  • serious problem with the network card drivers

Ok. I've been messing around last night, playing GTA San Andreas on my laptop. I wanted to see what the resolution that I could run in, so I tinker with them a little more. I tried to apply a change and my laptop screen keeps flashing between 'off' black and black 'menu of the game' and I had to manually turn off because nothing has worked. When I rebooted, I found that I had no internet. This happens fairly regularly (my laptop is a bit grumpy and so it the wireless), so I don't think about it. But this morning, when I really need to search for a document, I found that I couldn't connect to the internet - or via my wireless ethernet cable. I think I'm done at the root of the problem, however: when I go to Device Manager, every single "network card" has a yellow exclamation mark next to it. If I double click on one, it says under device status as "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for the device (code 31)." After seeing this, I was indirectly bothered to download/install the latest drivers for the two most important cards (Intel Pro / wireless 3945ABG and RTL9101 Realtek PCI-E). They said facilities were successful, but after a reboot, I always saw all connections and it has not responded to my ethernet cable.
If I right-click on one of the cards and choose "update the driver software", then select the new drivers manually, it starts to install it and then says "windows has detected software driver for your device but encountered an error...". This device does not work properly because windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (code 31).

I don't really know where to go from here (I'll try to update BIOS driver, but I'm skeptical that it will help), and any help at all would be much appreciated. I called HP and they said my warranty was up and wanted me to pay for their "advice".

The laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6920us.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

What system do you currently use?

  • Update the graphics card Drivers (Y570)

So I have visited the GeForce site and seen that there is an update if I searched the GT555M drivers.

However, I also read that this isn't really a good idea to upgrade the graphics drivers unless they are from Lenovo because of Optimus technology.

So, is it safe to use the NVidia drivers? Or wait for Lenovo to download an updated driver on the page of the driver of the laptop?

GeForce PS site - will detect it your driver if you are using the discovery button, but it will tell you that there is no available updates. I was able to get my driver, however...

    Hi Adama.

as you say, it is advisable to update the drivers of lenovo, but you can try to update the drivers from nvidia.com directly. Just make sure that you create a restore in case point where. If the system has no problem after, you can use the windows restore to fix it.

so, you can update the drivers from nvidia if you wish.

    I hope this helps.

    I can't connect to internet

I tried to go in the properties and disable then re-enable

    What can I do?

    Hello

Do a system restore, if necessary in Mode without failure.

    "In Windows 7 system restore:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

'Advanced options boot (including safe mode).

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode#1TC=Windows-7

"The Advanced Boot Options screen lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting mode. You can access the menu by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before starting Windows (press F8 at the rate of about once per second)"
