• iPad Mini update problems

  Hi I have an iPad Mini 2 I think (16 GB), I work at sea and I rarely have a chance to update the iOS as often as I should so I'm probably an update or two old.

  I tried to update my iPad today, but towards the end of the update, I get the message "this device is not eligible for the requested build". I tried to hold the home button and sleep as suggested on other posts and this message would always come to the top. After doing more research I now believe her because my iTunes is up to date, but to upgrade to the current version, I also need to update the OS on my MacBook. (I'm currently under Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and I need atleast 10.8.5 for the last update of iTunes). Personally I don't think that my mac can even handle this OS because it is about 10 years.

  Is there a way I can return to the iPad manual update of the device itself, rather than through my laptop? I know to update the MacBook would be the logical way, but I can't justify spending money update my OS on something this old when I buy a new laptop in a few months. If there are no other alternatives that you guys know too I highly appreciate it that my iPad is very important to me, especially now that I'm on my vacation.

  p.s. I restore the iPad before you perform the update of iOS and I have another just as old MacBook Pro if none of these factors help in any way.

  If you had the original firmware of China you could download google in my opinion. Which is prohibited. So I think that you have a slightly modified version. Factory reserved, if availanbe could lead you towards the Chinese original firmware, but they you really wouldn't be able to download google. You can also instal the Chinese firmware cable.

• I can not connect my iPhone and my iPad mini after ios10

  so I upgraded my iPhone 5s as well as my mini iPad 2 to iOS10 today. I couldn't find any problem on my devices to date. Everything seems to be ok. But now I wanted to sync new music from my iMac to the iPhone but the connection of the usb cable, iTunes gives me an error message.   I have a MacMini mid-2011 with 4 GB of RAM.  The operating system is OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

  I tried to download and install the security update 2015-006.  It will not be installed.  I have the following message:

  I had changed my Cisco.com password a little there and does not update the credentials that CEP.  Updates did not exist until I updated the credentials today.  That's why my last updated shows today.

  Take a look at the version, however.  Our show: 201310112122.  We have the same version.  Your just updated on 12 October so that mine updated to this version.  Note that the version resembles a timestamp, which is where I got the 11 Oct.

  It's normal.  All pilots must go through quality certification before appearing on SU. In general, a period of 2 months from the version posted on the support page.

  It seems they have changed the way search works after the update. You can always edit contacts by opening the Contacts app, then open the contact you want to change. We do not know why they made the change, but unfortunately it is out of our reach. I don't know that they had a reason for this. If this is not the case, they will probably patch in an another mini update.
