  I suggest you call the HP support by phone no matter whether in or out of warranty you may need a replacement printer.

  What is going on, I would advise against using this cartridge now that it has been soaked in water.

  This is actually the third part I write to.  I have not received all the answers in the other two sections, so I thought that maybe I posted in the wrong section.

  I'll keep it quick.  I have a Photosmart A510 printer that I bought a new cartridge to 110.  When I put into the cartridge and turned on the printer, I get the following error: failure of the cartridge. Please replace the cartridge.

  I followed the instructions of cleaning troubleshooting twice and still same message.

  Is anyway to bypass this message?  It seems to be nothing wrong with the contacts on the cartridge, so I don't think it's defective.

  If there is no way around, are there for the A510 disassembly instructions?  I am a + certified and has a printer tech so long and for another company, but I have a good idea of how work printers.

  I am happy to know that you have found a source for parts.  The path of a model full to use for parts may also be an option.  Just keep in mind the price for a new comparable unit because it is perhaps long term cheaper and a more long term solution.

  The mistake of the printer is error code 'Ink system failure' Oxc19a0013. Turn the printer off and then on again. Does not help.

  @stepheds, I'm sorry you have a problem with the "ink system failure". Sometimes this occurs when a cartridge is damaged or needs cleaning print heads / replaced.

• C-8180 HP Photo Smart wet pictures blurry printing, dirty, dark.

  What can I do on the printed photos are coming to soak it with ink. Pictures are blurred, smeared and dark. Ink gets everywhere you fingers. The printer is an all-in-one Photo Smart C-8180. I have installed all new ink cartridges. I used the HP Photo paper only. The print head has been cleaned. If I have a word document to print on paper, it prints ok. The problem is that when I want to print photos. I do not often use this printer. I bought it mainly to print quality photos. It printed fine in the past, but now they are terrible, stained, blurry and dark. Anyone know what the problem might be and if it can be fixed? Appreciate all the help that can be given.
