How to connect hPa photo smart printer while a C4385 on I pad

I'm trying to connect to Apple IPad Wifi 16 GB white for my HP C4385 photo smart printer but all I get is I printer is not found. Can anyone help please.

Hello

Your printer is only USB connection, does not supports AirPrint and other mobile printing tasks:

http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Photosmart-C4300-all-in-one-printer-series/3221640/model/3221645/document/c01122227/

This is why your iPhone won't be able to find it. You need an AirPrint, ePrint or printer of cloud which can be connected to a wireless network to be able to print from mobile devices.

Kind regards.

Thanking you in advance for any help in this area.

There are a few things that can cause this problem to exist. First thing to try if you still experience this issue is to take the power cord of your router and turn off the printer and the ipad. After about a minute or a record if the router back in and wait for the light to return to normal and then turn the printer under. Once the printer is in power normail on the ipad and after have connected you to your network, it can work at that time. If you still get the error "no air don't print printers found", let know us and we can perform additional troubleshooting.

  • How to uninstall your HP Smart Print

The HP Officejet Pro 8610 installed HP Smart Print installation process.  I would like to remove this application, but it is not listed under programs and features in Control Panel.  (I have Windows 7 Professional 64.)  I can use the manage add ons option in IE 11 to disable this BHO object, but I can't remove it.  I even uninstalled the 8610 basic software, but this did not help.  I would like ideas on how to do to remove this application.

Thanks for your quick response!  Unfortunately, no solution solved my problem.  However, I have discovered that apparently the HP Smart printing application has not completed the installation process.  I was able to complete the installation, and then I used the control panel to remove it.  (After the installation is complete, the program was listed in the Panel).  I don't know why the program appeared in IE that if installation is incomplete, but at least the problem is resoved.  Thanks again for your help!

  • How to connect a USB-wireless printer to a wireless network without PC

Some HP printers do not have a Wizard of wireless configuration integrated into the façade to connect to a network.  These models install to a computer via a USB connection and the software then sends information wireless via the USB cable to the printer.  However, you do not always have a present computer and still need to connect these printers to a wireless network.  You can use a wireless, like an iPad device, to do this.  For the example below, I used an iPad and a printer Deskjet 3510.

The first step is to make sure that your printer is aired at an (Ad Hoc) network.  To do this, turn on the printer and press the wireless or wireless Tower, and then in the Setup menu. Connect the iPad (or other wireless device) to the signal being broadcast by the printer wireless.

Once the iPad is connected to the printer as long as a network connection, open the Web browser on the iPad.  Type 192.168.223.1 in the address bar and go to this site.  Printer status page should load and look like the picture below.

Click the network at the top of the status page.  You can get a quick warning while being redirected to an HTTPS site.  Click Ok in the message box to continue.  When you click OK, you can get a warning about the identity of the server or the certificate.  Select the option that allows you to continue.  The wording can vary from a browser, but there should be an option to continue anyway.

Network status page should now be loaded at this point.  Select Assistant wireless to start the installation of the wireless network and click Next.

When then is selected, it must list the available wireless networks.  Select your network from the list and click Next.  When the network is selected, it should be noted.

Enter the network password if necessary and click Next.

A message should be received indicating the name and if security is enabled.  The message below which must indicate that the settings have been saved successfully.  If it indicates that the settings were saved successfully with an error, the configuration of the network is more than likely operation.  Click Ok at the bottom.

After selecting OK, select status to check that the printer is connected successfully.  It may take a few minutes for light wireless to the printer to stop flashing.  Once it is a solid blue, the printer must be on the network and operation.

Once this is over, then you will be able to reconnect to your wireless (wireless router) normal signal for internet access.  Now, the iPad and the printer are on the same home network.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP PHOTOSMART 7520E: HOW TO CONNECT THE 75 HP PRINTER TO THE COMPUTER AND THE ROUTER

Here's my problem.  My modem from my ISP did not work properly and they brought a new modem and set up.  It is obviously not properly configured, and when I go on the computer I have to use the arrow in the lower right of my computer to connect to the Internet.  I also connect my printer using this same low right arrow.  My Internet provider tried to fix this error on the phone but IT does IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY.  I call today for an appointment for a tech to come to my house to fix this.  That's why I can't take back my electronic impressions with crossword games, etc., until it is properly fixed.  I would ask BEFORE the tech comes to my home to BRING A MODEM it IS WORKING CORRECTLY.  When I spoke this morning with my Internet provider, I learned that there are other people in my neighborhood by using the same network, that's why I'm having this problem.  I TOLD THEM THAT I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS BECAUSE ALL THESE PROBLEMS HAVE OCCURRED AFTER THEY HAVE INSTALLED THIS OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE MODEM.  I HAVE THEM ALSO SAID SINCE I WAS 'SHARING' A MODEM WITH MY NEIGHBORS, I'LL ASK FOR A DISCOUNT ON MY SERVICE AND OF COURSE, THAT HAS NOT RECEIVED POSITIVELY.   I'll post an update when this problem is solved by my Internet provider.

    Hi @filgrastin,

Thank you for joining the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you are unable to connect your printer wireless due to a problem with your modem. I will definitely do my best to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and mark "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

Once the problem has been resolved with the modem and your computer is correctly connected to the internet, I'd be happy to help you with the installation of the printer if you still need help.

If you need assistance, please let me know. Good luck!

  • Satellite A200: How to connect a parallel port printer?

Probably a very stupid question, but I would like to connect laptop series A200 on a parallel port printer that does not have a USB port... What is the best option?

    Hello

    You ask the best way?
Well, you have only one way?

You need an adapter USB to parallel. Check in google for certain offers.
I searched in google and found some good options.

    Perhaps this might be a good choice;

  • How to connect my old HP printer on my new laptop

I have a HP LaserJet 1100 printer, and I want to connect it on my laptop satellite. I can´t find witch cable to use, if any?

    Hello

I guess your printer takes only supported a parallel port and uses the parallel cable, but you do not find these ports on the Satellite. Am I wrong?

Well, my old printer DeskJet 840C uses the same cable that your and I had the same problem with my newest Satellite phone. My old laptop supports the parallel port.

However, I just bought a USB-> parallel port adapter and it works. But I recommend to test the adapter first because not all working correctly.

    Hi Molly,

Exactly how you print depends on what kind of situation you have.

    Read what follows:

AirPrint allows instant printing of iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Mac

  • A510 Photo smart printer: A510 Photo smart printer error: cartridge failed

This is actually the third part I write to.  I have not received all the answers in the other two sections, so I thought that maybe I posted in the wrong section.

I'll keep it quick.  I have a Photosmart A510 printer that I bought a new cartridge to 110.  When I put into the cartridge and turned on the printer, I get the following error: failure of the cartridge. Please replace the cartridge.

I followed the instructions of cleaning troubleshooting twice and still same message.

Is anyway to bypass this message?  It seems to be nothing wrong with the contacts on the cartridge, so I don't think it's defective.

If there is no way around, are there for the A510 disassembly instructions?  I am a + certified and has a printer tech so long and for another company, but I have a good idea of how work printers.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

    Hi reactorman,

I am happy to know that you have found a source for parts.  The path of a model full to use for parts may also be an option.  Just keep in mind the price for a new comparable unit because it is perhaps long term cheaper and a more long term solution.

I admire your courage and the ability to fix what you have!

    Hello

Your printer has as USB connection:

And not available to add accessories:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01987635

    Options

    (a) is your router wireless print server option? If so, connect the printer to the router using the USB port.

    (b) purchase a wireless USB print server, not much on the market today and the success rate is questionable (based on my tests).

    (c) use USB connect to Dell printer now and buy a new printer later.
