Could not access the afterwords of the internet. Controller Ethernet Driver and network drivers weren't there!  I downloaded from HP website on the USB and try to re - install new professional home. (I had to install Win 8 because it is the only other disc that came with the PC. He made do me on the internet well.) After that I run once again the installation disc, I'll be able to add the USB drivers?

  The phone was bought in England, but is used in the USA, model PSPA3E. It runs Windows XP Home Edition sp2. We have Internet high speed brought to our House and I am trying to get the laptop connected to the Internet via an ethernet connection. There is an ethernet port on the back of the laptop, but when I plug the ethernet cable it's a green light (right) and a yellow light (left). When I go into "Device Manager" are 2 network cards that are displayed (a 1394 network adapter and an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection). I don't want to use the wireless (which works), I want to use the ethernet. Under "Other devices", there is a yellow question mark and a yellow exclamation mark next to 'Ethernet controller'.

  I have an ethernet connection that suddenly cut yesterday; my laptop does not recognize that there is an ethernet cable connected to it. He did once before, but mysteriously dressed himself. No chance now. The network light does not appear when I plug the ethernet cable, but I checked (by plugging in another laptop) who works in the internet and the cable is fine. Which indicates that the problem lies with the network adapter.

  I am facing a network unusual problem with the following network configuration

  1. laptop connected to isps1 via Ethernet - 192.168.0.x (serves as router NAT and DHCP)
  2. same laptop connected to ISP2 network Wi - Fi - 10.1.1.x (router does NAT and DHCP)
  3 WiFi connection shows a "yellow Triangle" - no Internet access

  Note:

  1. neither the connections require Sign-In to access the Internet
