HP Deskpro: Lack of network/Ethernet drivers
My computer has been acting up and full of clutter. Has taken almost 2 minutes to start. I knew not what half the Junk was so I just backed up on a USB stick and re-installed Windows 7 home 64 Professional with the disk I got with the computer. Could not access the afterwords of the internet. Controller Ethernet Driver and network drivers weren't there! I downloaded from HP website on the USB and try to re - install new professional home. (I had to install Win 8 because it is the only other disc that came with the PC. He made do me on the internet well.) After that I run once again the installation disc, I'll be able to add the USB drivers?

HP Pavilion g7-2292sd: problems with ethernet drivers.
I have a HP G7-2292SD and installed windows 7 64-bit version.
Everything looks very good and works.
The only thing that doesn't work is the ethernet drivers.
When I go to Device Manager and then go to the tab "other devices" is the following.
! - Network controller
! - PCI device
! - PCI simple communication controller
! - SM bus controller
!-(USB) universal serial bus controller
! - unkwon device.
As you can see, they are all marked with!
I searched drivers but can only find drivers for windows 8 or 8.1 when I look under HP Pavilion g7-2292sd.
Hope that some 1 can help me!
Hello:
You can use the W7 64-bit drivers and software on your model. Do not use any BIOS or the files of the firmware of this model on your.
SM bus controller:
Graphics card (no doubt you need that too):
PCI device:
Simple PCI communications controller:
(USB) universal serial bus controller:
unknown device:
I don't know what model your laptop wireless (network controller) card use, so please do the following and I will post the link to the wireless card driver you need:
Since there is no driver installed wireless, we need a labeled device network controller in Device Manager in the category other devices. The network controller device will be a little! mark next to him.
Thus, to find the network controller device, click on that and then click on the Details tab.
Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.
On this list and select the second element (Hardware ID).
After the first string of characters you see in the window.

G6-2231dx Pavilion: Pavilion g6-2231dx and Windows 10 lack of network connections
Then... Where are the pilots 10 compatible of Windows for the g6-2231dx Pavilion? I know that this OS was just launched yesterday, but an excerpt from the developer is available for some time now and any reasonable person would expect a company as big as HP now have their stuff ready for this deployment.
The latest version of the operating system available on the menu drop-down page downloads & drivers of the g6 is Windows 8.1. While the Realtek PCIe FE ethernet family and drivers Ralink RT3290 WLAN view and proclaim that they are in perfect working order through the Device Manager, or a connection to the local area network or WLAN connection appear when I opened the section "Manage maps" of the network and sharing Center.
I've tried so far to solve the problem of the measures:
Searched in vain for the site of HP compatible drivers, or at least an explanation of why it is not all the drivers available for Windows 10 on my device. By-the-way, there are a lot of dead links on your site. Did the same to sites Web of Realtek and Mediatek without any result. Googling has not helped much either.
Downloaded and installed the latest drivers Windows 8.1, after uninstall of each device (as well as the removal of their files in the system directory) of the Device Manager with a reboot between the two attempts, since the HP website as well as websites of card manufacturers. No results.
Updated drivers for each devices via Device Manager and manually that it points to the directory where I extracted the drivers. No results.
Disabled features, that I had to do to solve the problems with adapters flakey on the latest operating system from Windows to save energy. No results.
Rolled back drivers through Device Manager. No results.
Uninstalled devices again, tried and then install the drivers in compatibility mode. No results.
Tried to install the Realtek drivers which claimed to be compatible with Windows 10 that I acquired through the Lenovo Web site. No post no installed errors, but network connections still do not come under the list, while continued to report as work awesomely by Device Manager!
Editing a registry string by a suggestion in another forum support, but for developers of Windows 10 preview who proposed to change the string of 'dela Jacques = 7' where it was previously set at 5, in my situation. No results.
The state icon of connection in the system status bar always has a big, big, red X through it, when I left click on the icon, if waiting to see at least a list of available wireless networks, it is completely empty, with the exception of the option to turn on or turn off the airplane mode (Yes, I made sure it's off).
It is quite frustrating and I know this isn't quite exclusive fault of HP/Realtek/Mediatek and I'm sure Microsoft has a big had to play in a no-so-finished product, but geeze! Any help out there?
MInutes after posting here, I found a solution to the problem of another Web site. This solution is relevant to those who have had a VPN software installed on their system during the upgrade of Windows 10. It may be worth a try, even if you don't have a VPN software installed prior to the upgrade. I followed the instructions below and after you remove both registry key and uninstall the DNI_DNE, the network adpaters Protocol (ethernet or wireless) immediately turned on and connected automatically without having to restart the computer.
If you have unsupported software VPN installed on Windows 8.1 when you upgrade, you may experience this problem. We are currently working on a fix. To check if that's causing your problem of networking:
Click the Start button, then click command prompt (Admin).
Type the following command in the window and press ENTER:
netcfg - s n
This will display a list of network protocols, drivers, and services. Check if DNI_DNE is listed in the output. If this is the case, this problem applies to you.
If DNI_DNE is present in the same command prompt window, type the following commands to solve the problem:
Reg delete HKCR\CLSID\ {988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /va /f
netcfg - v u dni_dneIf you receive the error 0 x 80004002 after execution of this correction, or the registry key has not been removed or the key that should be deleted is slightly different. Open Regedit and navigate to the key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\ {988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3}. Delete it if it still exists. If this is not present and you still not received this error, just reply to the post. We may contact you to help identify the cause of this error.

I bought a HP 17-g133cl and I took off Win10 and reinstalled Win7 (due to the work win10 platform does not) and I can't find a driver that will seek to get the realtek network lan to work.
(all device drivers must be installed thought if I can get lan driver for work can get other drivers online)
You are looking for the driver for win7 64 bit
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
You are the very welcome.
Yes, normally if you receive notification of deep sleep, which means that you will install the first chipset driver, reboot and then install the ethernet driver.
See if the chipset directly from AMD driver works for you. Install and reboot. 1 driver on the list.

Usually, using the operating system recovery disc must be set to the factory setting and everything should be ok.However, I recommend first upgrading the BIOS, then the LAN/WLan card driver.
The card chip Realtek (Realtek 10/100 Base-TX) LAN and WLan card chip is Intel (Intel 802.11 a/g/n WiFi Link 5100AGN)Download the WLan driver from this page Toshiba WLan:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/and the LAN driver can be downloaded from the Realtek page, or on site pilot European Toshiba too.
Remove/uninstall the old drivers and then install the new drivers.Good bye
Slight modification of my original posting. Please remove the ' / going ' from the code as it is does not delete the subkeys, only values. So, if you have dni_dne and tried this fix with an error result, please try this again with the following change in the original post:
reg delete HKCR\CLSID\ {988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /f
