HP Pavilion 15-ab219tx: HP Pavilion ab219tx - replacement warranty - missing box

Now I got the replacement warranty for my HP laptop. But I missed my cardboard box to my HP laptop. How can I got the replacement warranty without the box.

Please help me soon

Your laptop product and serial number is on a label at the bottom of the laptop, probably under the battery.

If I buy an Airport Extreme, I put up to REPLACE my existing Comcast xfinity box (coax in)

No, since AirPort Extreme is not a modem... it has no co - ax entered... it's a router only.

It is somehow more the existing box (Arris Touchstone TG862 telephony gateway).

Yes, but there is really no reason to add an AirPort Extreme, since your gateway is actually a modem and router within a single package. If you add the AirPort Extreme, you will have a modem and two routers... probably something you need not... unless you need more wireless networks.

Adding an AirPort Extreme to your gateway will not solve this problem.  Maybe a different model or brand of gateway that could solve the problem. You must check with Comcast on this possibility.

  • Replace the text box with Image through breakpoints

    Hello

I'm looking to replace the text boxes and icons with images and want to know if I can do this on several break points at the same time without having to go and manually change each breakpoint.

My site is here: Movement of Boulder

In the Services section of the wider breakpoint, you can see the images that I want, but if you minimize the browser window, you will see the images and the text that he was supposed to replace. Is it possible to replace all the text boxes with the images you want?

    Hello griffinb,

If you delete a breakpoint text areas, they will be removed from all.

After you have placed your image just right-click on it and select the option ' copy the style and position > to other breakpoints.

Let me know if you have any problems getting there.

  • HP Pavilion G6: replacement hard drive on hp pavilion g6

Im trying to replace a hard drive on a HP pavilion G6 model number is G6 2239dx so I looked hard drives compatible with this model number that I did not buy directly from HP for a heavy sum. I found the other G6 drives with different model numbers, now I know that I certainly need the model number to order the Pack recovery but on the hard drive. It is somehow specific model number or can I use a hard drive from a 1B79dx of G6 G6 model number or any other g6 also. I'm new on this and do not want to buy something I can't use and have not been able to find clear information, I'm looking for. Any help is appreciated!

    Hello

Basically you can use any standard laptop HARD drive. But please use Hitachi or Toshiba. HP machines use Toshiba HDD much. You don't need special HARD drive to your machine.

    Kind regards.

  • HP Pavilion t581 replacement power

    Hello everyone here...

I have a strange problem with my office. My system has suddenly stopped working. The system has no power, no beep and the power supply which is BESTEC ATX 250 12Z REV C. HP P/N-5187-1099 has a small light green led flashing continuously on the connecting the system to the power.

I did all the major diagnosis and the culprit is the power supply. I would be grateful if someone could provide me the details of the PSU that be a possible replacement of my old PSU.

My system is HP Pavilion t.581.me. The specification of the PSU are mentioned below for your reference.

Name of the PSU: BESTEC ATX 250 12Z REV c. HP P/N-5187-1099

    Model: ATX-250-12Z REV.-C.

    Input: 100-127V ~ 6a, 200-240 v ~ 50/60 Hz 3A.

    Output: + 12V - 14 a. + 5V - 25A + 3.3V-18 a. - 12V - 0. 8A + 5VSB - 2A.

    + 5V AND + 3.3V MAX 165W. + 5V & + 12V 218W MAX.

Kindly let me know if I could replace it with coolermaster 350W or 400W.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards
    Kane.

A power supply does not provide as much energy it takes to power the computer correctly.  Therefore, the additional power is there for the needs of advanced.  The difference in intensity is not a problem.

  • Pavilion G6: Replace fan on Pavilion

I realize this is probably a general 'fault' with most laptops, but why the hell don't manufacturers build their machines with fans that are accessible, like all hard drives seem to be. Moving parts are obviously more likely to wear or fail over time and, as far as I can see, there are two types in a laptop, the HARD drive and fan.
Replace a HARD drive can be done in an hour or two (eg. On a G6 Pavilion, it requires the removal of two screws and careful replacement) but to replace a cooling fan, we're looking for a good ten or twelve hours (eg. On a G6 Pavilion on the only part that doesn't have to be physically removed and put in the back is the screen, I lost count of the number of screws).
With repair shops charge as much as £80 per hour that it's cheaper to buy a new machine that pay for a piece of a £20 replaced. I suspect that there is a general scheme by all manufacturers to ensure that their customers replace their machines after expiration of the warranty, rather that attempt to repair a machine that works perfectly but needs only a 4oz part replaced for another couple of use of it.

Thought so, just be a bit lazy, I guess.
Want to do things (and do it myself), some pride self creeping in.
    Thanks for your comments.

  • Pavilion dm4, replacing hard drive

    So, I have a HP Pavilion dm4 1165 c: windows 7 64 bit, around a Yes and a half old.

A week before, the hard drive suffered a kind of permanent fatal event and quietly left this death spiral.  If you want to know: any type of shoe was impossible.  System recovery could not even see the drive, an external drive could not speak of it, and it crashed to any machine that has tried.  I had to send it to data recovery - they tell me that the reader has hard errors and at least one of the drive heads does not.  They will be able to pick up stuff for me, but the reader is a loss (yes I know, I know - I should have backed up).

So in my opinion it - I have two problems to solve.  1. I need a new hard drive.  2 - I need stuff to put on my hard drive (it came with nothing - I don't have the disc for the operating system, drivers, nothing).  That offer HP which determination of these problems?  How much are these options?  Who should I talk to?  (I tried to call tech support, but there was a bit of a language barrier.  Also, I'm out of warranty, and they want $60 to solve problems before they'll still talk about replacement of hardware and/or software).

    Hello:

You can order a 500 GB hard drive 7 200 to replace your existing one.  You can't go smaller if you want to use recovery disks.

I love this place to order PC hardware.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/ProductList.aspx?submit=Ene&N=100007605%20600030594&IsNodeId=1&BOP=and&order=rating&PageSize=20

I'd go with the first listed, but it is up to you. Look at the reviews and the price and choose the one that suits you best.

You can order HP recovery discs. You will need to call them as the link to the website to order them is broken.  Cost should be less than $20.00

You will need the complete model number of your PC. I do not see a dm4 - 1165dm.  I see a dm4 - 1165dx, and you will need to provide the serial number.

If HP has a set of recovery disc for your PC, you can use this workaround to install W7 on your new HARD drive.

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

  • Pavilion DV9000: Replacing the HARD drive

A non-techy question, so please bear with me.

I replaced the parts on my laptop several times, but it's certainly more complicated...

My old Pavilion DV9000 screen is dead... I can use it plugged into my TV or external monitor.

I see a number of old DV9 * * for sale on ebay for a lot cheaper then screen would repair on my old DV9000.

Pilot of the other then a few updates, would it plug-and-play to buy any old DV9 * and exchanging the HARD drive? Or is it more than that? If it's just some driver updates, how close the models do? DV9000 only? DV9330? Dv9700?... etc...

I just need to make sure that the 'new' computer has the same processor?

Or should I just PAP the idea?

    You are the very welcome.

Sorry, it took so long for me to get back to you... we had a big storm last night and he knocked the cable for 10 hours.

OK, indeed, you have this model...

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-DV9600-entertainment-notebook-PC-series/3543713/model/3548441/document/c01162170/

So, you want to get a model with an AMD processor and nVidia chipset.

Do not be any model is lower than a dv9500.

You can go all the way to a dv99xx, but make sure it has an AMD processor and nVidia chipset, and the hard drive in your machine should work OK.

The only thing you may need to do is install a different graphics and the wireless card driver, if you get is not an exact match.
