• The native application installer fails on Mac 10.5.8 times

  Hello

  I have an AIR 2.0 application native with a native installer I install silently as part of a series.

  On Mac, I have a DMG containing the application native installer and a shell script that copies the native installer application to a temporary folder, then call it passing "-silent" option.
  For some reason the native installer fails every other hour, i.e. If I install the application and then move it to the trash and then try to re - install, Setup fails.
  However, if I try to reinstall once more, installation is successful. I can reproduce this problem consistently.
  This seems to happen only on Mac OS 10.5.8. On 10.6.0 and above all seem to work fine.
  What can be the reason of this inconsistent behavior?
  Version of the OS is Mac OS 10.5.8, CPU: 2.8 GHz Intel Core Duo

  Thank you again for providing your setup of the example program. I checked the problem at 10.5 using your program installation and in the terminal when the command line is preceded with "sudo".  It's now connected internally as bug #2758237.

  As a solution, could you try empty the trash before each attempt to install?  I found that in this way the installation program completes successfully whenever this has been done.

• The installation fails after changing the position of my Docs

  Installation fails for Adobe Reader after you download it in the installer. Then starts the installation but says 'Error install Adobe Reader', in detail: "the path to the program Documents or volume are not valid. Insert them again". I was messing around with letters of partitions before that. Just changed my CD of E, then my second partition to D fix the creation of D for my CD. And position changed from MY Documents to the D drive as always.

  
  But I had a weird problem with libraries. They got removed, I tried to get back them and they do not appear. Then I clicked on them through start button, PICTURES, DOCUMENTS and all the quick links with Control Panel, and they appeared. I have fixed everything.

  Not when I try to view the file 'in the browser"with any program, I can't make it work either.

  How can I solve this?

  OK I fixed it.

  I created another account with administrative rights. Then I have everything copied from my last story (hopefully content office and more than two files) and removed the last account. The new account created new library records that have been broken before. EVERYHING work perfect.

  I guess that it s related to some Adobe stores data in the My Documents folders.

  I've recently updated my application that is listed on the world of BB. I went to the BB world to test the installation and it failed. Screenshots below.

  Sorry, I did not notice that it was in the Android forum when I copied and pasted my response to the Issue Tracker.

  First, move your developer certificate existing (author.p12) of the appropriate directory based on your OS:

  • Windows 8®, Windows 7®, and Windows Vista®: %HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Research in motion
  • Windows XP: %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Application is moving
  • Mac OS: ~/Library/Research in motion
  • UNIX / Linux: ~/.rim

  Then, create a new using this command (use the name of your company for the author):

  blackberry-keytool -genkeypair -keystore  -storepass  -author 
  

  Then move this file in the same directory that you deleted the existing file.

• Cloud creative application installer disappears after the step "setup initialization."

  I recently had to reboot my laptop for its parameters for 4 days ago and since then I can't download app CC at all.

  I don't even get an error message, the installation program disappears right after initialization of installation stage.

  I tried to use the uninstall tool, but when I try to reinstall the same thing happens.

  It's very frustrating. I wasn't expecting to have to pay for the CS6 products and for not being able to download the software itself.

  For Windows:

  Open the c: drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe.

  Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

  Important:

  Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe.

  Open the Adobe folder and if necessary remove Adobe Creative Cloud folder.

  Then try to install the creative Cloud desktop application.

  I just bought an Epson printer. I went through the installation process on my laptop but I get the "Failed to install" error message after entering my password/security key (WPA). I am with BT and my home hub I have "Wireless Key", "PIN WPS wireless" and "Admin password" - which is it? I tried all three and not joy. Help!

  It is almost certainly looking for your "wireless key".

  The WPS Pin is only used if the printer supports "Wi - Fi Protected Setup" - which it probably isn't, and the "Admin" password is used to access your BT home hub to make configuration changes.

  In addition to identifying what wireless Epson printer you have, you can either

  • b changes to the configuration of the printer from a screen on the front or
  • (b) to connect to the printer by an Ethernet cable or
  • (c) to connect to the printer with a USB cable?

• Adobe DC installation fails after the most recent Windows and Mac updated

  During the installation of package (Adobe Creative Cloud) process stops, and then comes back.  Installation seems to be failing when the version check.  Tried the package and install separate;  No compatibility not test Adobe CC cleaning tool are able to correct the problem. Compatibility mode installs all applications except Adobe DC.

  Every app I have Edit and build seems to have a problem of App Builder for code signing:

  

  Nothing has been edited directly in the IPA.  App Builder using, each application that is edited and then uploaded as "Developer application (.ipa)" installs as stated above.

  It's like building application server-side is adding / not to sign a code resource in the bundle.

  For this project I had accidentally downloaded the file hidden repo git in the ZIP downloaded on the App Builder.  Apparently caused code sign questions. that although confused, turns out great as it would have been unfortunate for submitting the application with these artifacts.

  Problem is solved, and I get is no longer this error.

  I am trying to build a free trial to my iPad. Everything seems fine, certificates, commissioning, generator of spectator. That in the end, something goes wrong... When you try to synchronize the app on the pad via iTunes, it loads the app on the pad, starts the installation, but then closes and I get an alert saying "Installation of... has failed."

  Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

  I DEV and PROD workspaces.
  
  Both on Oracle 11 g, Apex 3.1.0.00.32
  
  The two environments were created at the same time. Apex PROD workspaces were not initially created through the importation of DEV workspaces. To migrate applications exported us dev and imported the application prod with the same application ID.
  
  To allow the migration of page and component of the PROD, workspace was deleted then recreated via an import to workspace DEV.
  
  I deleted the workspace, but I did not remove the application first. I assumed that the applications and all the metadata would be eliminated. When I tried to import the application with the same ID than I was not deleted, it failed with the message below.

  I was able to create a new application that uses the same number of App. It's only the import of the latest version of the same app that has been in the workspace removed as I get failure. I guess that all the metadata do not get cleaned.
  
  Is it possible to manually clean the tables of flow? Or is there something else keeps me to import the same application to any workspace.

  3.1.0 there was no constraint of cascade deletion between the tables of interactive reports and workspaces in order to remove a workspace would eliminate applications but not interactive reports. You have two options:

  (1) apply the 3.1.2 patch (easy and painless) and then repeat your steps.

  (2) access directly the flows_030100 schema and

  delete wwv_flow_worksheet_rpts where security_group_id =... 5512;

• The first Installation fails after first Boot of the Satellite L750

  Hello.

  I turned on my brand-new Satellite L750 - 04K 010 for the first time tonight (bought new) and start going through the initial setup process for Windows 7 Home Premium. The installation must "Installing devices" and then hung up without activity for about 2 hours, how I decided to restart.

  Then I kept getting the error windows installation has failed and would then need to restart the installation process. The computer will restart but kept coming up with the same error and the loop would continue even once.

  I have not received the installation discs.

  I tried to press F8 to see if the computer repair would work but only gave options to repair the system to a previous state. No Toshiba option was available.

  Help!

  It's pretty stupid situation now.
  If there is no way to launch the installation of recovery once again I recommend your dealer and ask for help. With other words, ask for the replacement of the laptop.

  What you can also do is to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and explain the situation. I put t know what they can do for you, but I imagine that you will get a DVD of recovery for the installation of the OS.

  Of course I n don't know what the right solution, but I don't see another option for you.

• BlackBerry App new application facebook fail

  I downloaded the new facebook application yesterday. It has allowed us to choose our settings for the newsfeed. I always choose "most recent messages.

  Unfortunately, the new facebook app does not the same option for a calendar.

  On my Q10, my calendar showed a post for 3 days (an eternity in the smartphone era) on top of my calendar. This isn't my most recent post.

  I noticed the same thing about Timeline.She my friend messages every day, but I see a post 12 - former day from the top of its timeline when see the Q10!  This is not the case on the desktop version of facebook!

  As a customer, I REQUEST that we be allowed to chose our timeline settings. I ALWAYS want to see the most recent messages on top.  Allowing us the option is a sign of respect.

  I hope that Black Berry and facebook fix this immediately!

  Installation comes at last "preparing devices" then restarts once more and then I get a black screen. Any suggestions apart from the elements of services, firewall and start disabling?

  For those who have followed this post, I discovered my problem of installation of Windows 8.  My computer is connected to my TV big screen via a HDMI cable and my installation seems to be dead with a black screen, somehow the program split my screen in two.  My PC screen was black and the screen waiting for my entry was on the TV screen.  You use a mouse with an extension of eight feet, I could correct the display and complete the installation.  Hope this helps someone who runs into the same problem.

  Hi Yoash,

  Open the Task Manager and check if there are all the running instances of windows install, close the case and then rerun the installer for Adobe reader.
