Here's a Win 7 driver for the audio device in the computer.  Try it to see if it works.  It takes a little of the area of download/install to appear.

Please, click on "Thumbs Up +" if I helped you and click "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

  • Computer desktop Fujitsu Siemens, no audio output device installed after upgrading to Windows 7

I have a Fujitsu Siemens computer that was running Windows XP. I put it to update to Windows 7 and it seems to be a problem to find a compatible sound card driver. He was previously SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio.

The speaker at the bottom of desktop icon has a red x on it and when I hover over with the mouse, he said, "no audio output device is installed".

Device Manager displays "Multimedia Audio Controller" under "other devices" but said that no driver files have been loaded.

It seems that the driver has been deleted and I can't find a compatible replacement.

Help, please! I tried to watch countless blogs where people seem to have similar problems but none of the answers seem to work.

    Thank you.

    Re-post giving the name/model/REF. n ° of your PC.

If there is no specific driver for W7, then you can try to install Vista drtivers (if they exist) in compatibility mode (no guarantee it works well).

  • Windows Update uninstalled audio output? (Conexant HD)

I'm running a Pavilion DV9700 with Vista Home Premium. Windows decided to do an automatic update this afternoon and I now no sound. When I move the mouse over the tray icon, I see "No Audio output device installed. It was working perfectly before this update.

Here is what I tried (and results) and try (reason).
I can't update the driver for a device that is not installed.
I searched on hard disk for Conexant, audio, player, sound. Unable to find anything that will help you.
I thought to uninstall updates... but there are about 40 of them, and there must be a better solution.

I can not deal with no music... any advice would help.

BTW, I already said the system can perform automatic updates, but that's another debate for another day.

The update removed somehow the audio device. I tried to download and reinstall, but kept running into problems with the installation. My system did not create (first time I ever saw that) restore points, so I had nothing. I ended up restarting in safe mode and perform Windows Update setting, then reboot back into normal mode, and he's back.

  • No Audio output device is installed (Windows 10 64 bit, HP Pavilion 500 series)

    Model number: 500-007 a

    Operating system: 10 64-bit Windows

Description of the problem: no sound.

    Hello

I came from TenForums forum, hoping to find a solution to the problem of noise from my office.

Status of the solution of the problem is at: http://www.tenforums.com/drivers-hardware/45369-no-audio-output-device-installed.html

When I move my cursor on the audio icon on the corner at the bottom right of the screen, the message of the index says "no Audio output device is installed". By clicking on the audio icon so that windows are trying to solve the problem will not solve the problem.

In Device Manager, I have 2 "High definition audio controller" that display a yellow "!" mark on them. Both controllers are on the devices tab of system.

As you can see in the picture above, there is no tab "audio, video controller and game."

How can I get my sound back?

    Thank you.

    You are the very welcome.

What worries me is that your device manager does not have the IDT HD audio listed under sound video and game controllers Device Manager.

Normally, when you install W10, the IDT HD audio device is in the list, and it just doesn't work.

You can try reinstalling W10 and see what happens.

Problems of updates Windows XP - how to fix the incorrect Windows XP updates KB2633952 keep asking to install? True, it is that it is already installed on your computer. (Microsoft Answers just sent us message have deleted our previous thread, ask for help!) We are simply not that these problems are problems with Windows XP updates related to DST or not?)

Nadia. PA supporter said that your computer is hacked. He may be right. I can't weigh because I don't know what led him to this conclusion. If your computer is hijacked, then you should address that more that you need to fix this minor update. However, under the resolution of your problem to update, you can try this:

    Assume Windows XP

Check the C:\Windows\System32\ directory for the presence of the file tzchange.exe

If the file is not present or if the version of the file is not 5.1.2600.6171 or newer...

Download the update appropriate 2633952 for your platform here:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2633952

Run with - extract switch (e.g., Start > run > "[path to the downloaded file] \WindowsXP-KB2633952-x86-ENU.exe"-x)

Of course, replace [path to the downloaded file] with the path to the downloaded file.

Citations may or may not be required depending on the path. Place the x - out the citations if you use them.

Choose a location for the extracted files (a new folder is recommended)

Locate the extracted files. File tzchange.exe you want and copy it into C:\windows\System32

That rerun Windows Update detection to see if the problem is resolved.

I want to install a new game on my computer and the game launcher.exe told me there's an update for my video drivers. For some reason, I can't get updated driver from HP Web site directly and not AMD (which, on a side note, is a bit confusing to me know why). After seeing how many updates are available for my computer (here), I decided to update many of them. Here is a list of the updates I have downloaded and installed.

That said, at the end of all updates and all the restarting of the past, I boot my laptop and notice the lack of opening of a session of his. Looking at the system tray, there is, indeed, a mini icon 'X' on the volume icon. With the mouse hovering over him, he bed "no Audio output device is enabled" by clicking on it, the computer tries to set up the problem and the problem it finds is the following: "Audio device is disabled."

That's about the extent of my knowledge of what is happening.
Looking in the Device Manager, under "Audio, video and game controllers", there are three elements that follows:
    AMD High Definition Audio Device
    CyberLink WebCam driver virtual
    IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation in this area.

    List of installed updates:
-IDT high definition (HD) Audio driver
    -AMD driver, graphics, high-definition (HD)
    -Synaptics TouchPad Driver
    -Realtek card reader driver

  • No audio output device (windows 7)

    Hello

I've just updated from xp to windows 7 (rtm) and some trouble around my sound card. There is an icon in the lower right corner (next to the system clock) showing the "cross" on the speaker icon, informing me that "no audio output device is installed". I tried reinstalling the driver, but was not successful.

Unfortunately, I don't know yet what kind of sound card on my pc has. It seems that it is integrated on the motherboard, which is an ASUS P5GD2-X. in Device Manager, it is simply listed as "device high definition audio.

Anyone know how I can get this to work? It's really annoying not to have sound...

    Thank you for your support.
    -marc

    Hi Marc,

Thank you for visiting the Windows Vista Forums.

Please check if the playback device is disabled. To do this, follow the steps below:

    1 Please, click Start-> Control Panel-> Sound.

    2. on the playback tab, right-click on the empty square and then click on "show disabled devices".

    3. check if your playback device is disabled. If so, right-click on it and click Activate.

    Reinstall the audio device

    =============

    1. click on start, type Device Manager, click on Device Manager to open it.

    2. expand ' audio, video and game controllers ".

    3. right click on your audio device, and then click on uninstall.

    4. check "delete the driver for this device".

    5. click on OK.

    6. after that, restart the computer, the device and the driver must be reinstalled automatically.

I suggest you install the audio driver in compatibility mode. Remove and rescan the device in the device, right click on the executable/installer file manager driver-> properties and select the Compatibility tab. Click on the box to check run this program in compatibility mode for option and select Windows XP in the drop-down list. then try to install the device driver.

During this time, please understand that Windows 7 is a whole new operating system and driverstore has been reprogrammed; you could wait for another period of time until that the commercial version is released and push the business of the vendor to upgrade their device driver.
