Used Microsoft Fix It and the result is "material changes may not have been detected. Device is not listed in the Device Manager and digitization of material changes yeilds no results. Updates Windows leads to "no Audio output device is installed".
Hi all
Last night updates Windows automatically updated my laptop - I have Vista Home Premium. If the updates downloaded, but this morning, when I restarted my laptop and installed updates, I had no noise! When I put my mouse on its little icon on my desktop, it says I have "No Audio output device installed".
I don't know what happened or how to fix it - can anyone help. And I can not just use the system restore, because it has been disabled, so it is not all to return to restore points. Thanks in advance!

Hi @decyferme,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
It's a great place to find answers and suggestions!
You have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the HP Forums.
How can I find my model number or product number?
I understand that you had a problem with the touchpad for months because it is not responding. Although the driver is listed in programs and features in the Device Manager is not listed.
Have you checked for virus and malware?
Have you done all Windows updates?
Have you tried to run the troubleshooter in Windows?
Did you run HP Support Assistant to facilitate updates of HP?
First you would try this step. Some models, you can enable or disable the touchpad by double clicking on the top left corner of the touch pad. Please see if it is applicable for you.
Then in Device Manager, view hidden devices and search the hardware changes see if the touchpad now will be seen.
Here is a link to the HP laptops - use and troubleshooting of the TouchPad and ClickPad (Windows 8) that should help you too.

I bought a new computer (custom build) and Frys Electronics put it together for me. Disk 0 is a 128 GB SSD, 1 disk is a SATA 2 TB drive, and disc 2 is a 1 TB SATA drive. Readers of 0 and 1 have been configured correctly when I installed Windows 8 but Drive 1 was not found\initialized. Player 2 does not appear in the disk management window, but when I click on properties on any drive, and then on the "hardware" tab, the drive appears. If I can get windows to find it, I can go configure manually. DiskPart cannot find disc 2 in the 'LIST' command and when I get in car 2 on other commands that require a number of disc, nothing happens.
What should I do?
Thank you.
I ran an old Western Digital (the two SATA drives are WD) diagnosis and there are 1 OK to drive. I tested it and it doesn't have a writing that test a few zeros. I thought that it was a bad drive and I must return to the seller. The next morning I tried the WD diagnosis again and this time he passed. The app then allowed me to format it and it assign a drive letter.
It seems to be OK now, but I'm not load all the files on it again.
Thank you all for your support.

Here's a Win 7 driver for the audio device in the computer. Try it to see if it works. It takes a little of the area of download/install to appear.

Cannot record audio in Audition. Red button does not appear.
I am trying to record a voice on my Animation project. Tutorials lead me to click a 'red' on my Adobe Audition CC 2014
to record my voice on except there is no red button. "Also need to know how"play"my video, so I can enter my audio imported into the.
good places.
Thanx, Roddie
You must go to Edit > Preferences > Audio hardware and make sure that your audio device is connected properly to the hearing, and that the entry that you want to use is selected as a source on the track you want to record, edit > Preferences > Audio Channel Mapping.
If this does not work after having done that, and then come back.

all photos are stored on a computer with another computer maps to this file. The machine that is mapped also seems to be to save a new copy of the image in the my folder of photos of each photo with a tag of edition. Any help would be appreciated.

When navigating through Windows Explorer, it is apparently not available to display the file size or the number of files without looking at the properties of the specific folder.
Is it possible to have a sub-category that can display * file size * and * file Count * in a tree of files so that its more fast walk a tree longer?
Thank you
You can point to the folder to see the size, but not the details can show it as questioning the disc for all of these values causes the massive shift (especially in a corporate network, the traffic generated by the query can bring down a network).
The method of scoring looks like this:

New windows basic button Submit Acs - 4.2.1.15.3 does not appear
Configuration of the interface > Ganymede + submit button page displays cannot display the error page I'm not able to submit
Someone has an idea that it is after the upgrade to Acs - 4.2.1.15.3. I tried with almost all the browsers and the different java version. Also tried to install it on different computers but the same problem. Please refer to the screenshot
Manish,
What is the current version of java you are using, make sure that it is more later and also use the java tester to find your current version. Also add the site of GBA for trust on the browser sites

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit running on an Intel i7 2600 system with an ASUS P8P67 motherboard. Intel virtualualization has been enabled in the bios. Windows XP mode has been installed on the system and the operating system has been updated with Service Pack 1. Windows Virtual PC has been downloaded and installed, but does not appear in the start menu in the programs list. Now download for Windows Virtual PC will not allow to install another, nor that the first installation can be uninstalled because it is not on the list of programs. Virtual PC folder of Windows in the Program Files x 86 folder has only a folder with two files integration components; IntegrationCompnents.iso and Precompact.iso.
It should be in the menu... Virtual PC / XP Mode or something. I don't know, I don't use win7 atm

"No Audio output device is installed" after installing Windows 7
- I installed my windows 7 64-bit today (previously used 7 ultimate, which is the first operating system, I used on this computer because it is fairly new) and after installing some things, trying to get internet work etc. I know that my sound is not working. There is a small speaker symbol with a small red circle with a white cross on it that says "no Audio output device is installed." When I go over it. Troubleshooting comes up with nothing. I tried searching forums but the suggestions I've found is came up with nothing. I tried to go into Device Manager, re-installing drivers there and display hidden devices. I have also shown disabled/disconnected devices in the menu "playback devices". I use headphones instead of speakers (because I do not have all the speakers) and while I got ultimate they worked only when it is connected to the rear. My friend computer, which helped me to set up my computer says that it was a problem with the ultimate place of my computer, do not know if this is related but thought better include it anyway. Your help is much appreciated, thank you in advance.
I have no sound Windows 7 either. I just upgraded from XP Home to Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit on a Virgin Media freedom Netbook. Everything except playing the sounds works perfectly.
I checked in the Device Manager. An audio device high definition is installed. There is a recording device installed also. However, no midi playback is available.
I tried an update and uninstalled and reinstalled automatically. No joy.
I understand that Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth V1.1. is a software-only device for playback. It is not a hardware driver. I know that it is present on the netbook because Tuneup 2010 detected it as peripheral to read. However Windows 7 has not detected. Is there a Windows 7 compatible driver for this? If not, is a coming soon?
PS I've restored temporarily XP from an Acronis backup image. Sound worked perfectly as before, so I know there is no hardware problems
You will need to keep the control working drivers for the audio device. Win 7 will not play sounds without a.

No Audio output device is installed (Windows 10 64 bit, HP Pavilion 500 series)
Model number: 500-007 a
Operating system: 10 64-bit Windows
Description of the problem: no sound.
Hello
I came from TenForums forum, hoping to find a solution to the problem of noise from my office.
Status of the solution of the problem is at: http://www.tenforums.com/drivers-hardware/45369-no-audio-output-device-installed.html
When I move my cursor on the audio icon on the corner at the bottom right of the screen, the message of the index says "no Audio output device is installed". By clicking on the audio icon so that windows are trying to solve the problem will not solve the problem.
In Device Manager, I have 2 "High definition audio controller" that display a yellow "!" mark on them. Both controllers are on the devices tab of system.
As you can see in the picture above, there is no tab "audio, video controller and game."
How can I get my sound back?
Thank you.
You are the very welcome.
What worries me is that your device manager does not have the IDT HD audio listed under sound video and game controllers Device Manager.
Normally, when you install W10, the IDT HD audio device is in the list, and it just doesn't work.
You can try reinstalling W10 and see what happens.
