  If I read this correctly, you have a portable computer that do not have an operating system on it.  You try to install Vista and get the error.
  You've restarted the Vista installation?  So then you get the same error? If you have tried to install more than once and continue to receive this error, check that the laptop is capable of Vista?  You may need to check with the manufacturer of the laptop to see if it is able to support Vista.   Firefox is slow while I was over an hour trying to ask this question. My characters while typing are delayed a few seconds, and when I try to scroll a page down, there a few seconds delay between each line. Editing pages takes forever. It was working fine and I have no idea what happened past. Conducted a scan for viruses and malware on the computer, but showed no problems. Hate IE so please help.
