I went on www.best2serve.com to find the disc said, but my country did not appear in the section of the country. Can someone tell me how can I get a disk recovery in the land of mu, having a lot of problem with my graphic card, why I wanted to buy the recovery disk.

    Hello:

    Yes you can.

Here are the instructions and you should be all set.

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

Unfortunately, HP is a download option to do this, but you can order a set of replacement recovery disks using the link below - cost can vary a little where in the world you live, but they are generally inexpensive.

If you have a problem with this link, see if you can order them directly from HP.

    @SorryHPbuyer

I don't know what model said you it not available for, but HP still stocks recovery disc for many machines to Vista (not all), most Windows 7 and of course Windows 8 machines.

I guess you have a XP or Vista early model? In this scenario, you should be able to get here:

  • Pavilion DV6 3300se recovery disk

    Hello

I lost my rear drive for my laptop, is there a way to get a link for windows and HP support apps with it?.

    Thanks in advance.

There is no download link available for the operating system and applications HP.

You will need to buy a set of HP recovery disks or a partner of HP.

Usually the cost is approximately USD $25,00. It's much cheaper than buying an installation DVD.

  • Pavilion dv6: create recovery disk media fails

The disk is failing - takes forever to start and the PC hangs when I try to access it using Explorer. I have another drive, removed the PC drive and mounted in a USB SATA disk drive.

I can see the recovery partition, there look OK, contains a lot of files, among them a 22Gig. A file 'bootmgr' in the root and a startup directory, especially of the WIM file.

Can I use this partition to create a bootable USB drive that can recover my OS on this new hard drive?

I know that I can buy a recovery kit, but if I use it, I'll save some money and the day 6-10 wait as the press kit...

Waiting with hope in my eyes

    Hello:

Use this guide to learn how to create a recovery media:

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=emr_na-c01867124&DocLang=en&docLocale=en_US&JumpID=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0004

It only works with the hard drive in the PC.

Here's a way you can reinstall W7 by using the product key of W7 25 characters on the bottom of your PC case.

Make your own plain W7 x 64 installation media.

Here is the link to the download site of Microsoft for the W7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 ISO file.

    http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24209. ISO Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 English

Make sure you get all the 3. XX GB of the file to download.  Sometimes it reports 'Download complete', but you do not have the entire file.

Burn the file on a DVD using the option of the program of your burner burn DVD file ISO then the DVD is bootable.

Or you can use this tool to transfer the ISO to a flash USB 4 GB or DVD drive.  The tool also performs the bootable media.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/download/Windows-us b-dvd-download-tool

Then install the drivers and software available that you need your PC support and driver page.

I wanted to make my laptop to work in dual mode with Linux. But in this process has been formatted my whole hard drive. Now, I installed linux but I want windows 7 back. I also lost my recovery discs. I tried recovery disc to order from my laptop from the hp Web site but can't find it. I'm in a fix what to do now. Please provide me with as soon as possible. Desperately waiting for your answer

    Hello

Here's another solution, that you could use.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

An example of a COA label can be seen here.

You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the good Disk Image ( it must be the same version that originally came with your laptop - IE Windows 7 Home Premium ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  These Images are clean and a well respected source, however there are only limited versions available.

    Images of Windows 7.

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-Windows-7-by-phone.aspx

All pilots additional and the software, you may need can be found here.

    Hello

    There are two options available.

    1. you can order a set of replacement of the HP recovery discs using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.

    Order HP recovery disks.

2 another option that you might consider is to create your own Windows 7 installation disc.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

An example of a COA label can be seen here.

Also, if possible, back up the folder swsetup which lie at the root of the C drive.

You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the good Disk Image ( this must be the same version that originally came with your laptop - it is listed as Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  These Images are clean and a very respected source (Digital River).

    Windows 7 sp1-iso-official-32-bit-and-64-bit

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-Windows-7-by-phone.aspx

Regarding the drivers etc, you must, if you were able to save the swsetup this will contain all the software installers and drivers for your laptop - if you were not able, drivers and software, you may need can be found here.

    Best regards

  • dv6-1320ep recovery disks

I have a Pavilion dv6-1320ep and I have not the recovery disc for it and I do not have them. I have a recovery partition and I tried to restore the default settings, but it stopped at 1%. So now I can't even making a record of recovery because windows does not start. Can someone help me with some recovery disks? (Download them somewhere). I'm from Romania and I tried to order recovery disks, but the form will not appear (maybe because I'm from outside the United States a Canada)

My laptop has intel pentium dual core CPU, Ati mobility radeon graphics card and had windows 7 Home premium.

    Thank you

You choose the country from following link and look for the telephone support phone number and contact them asking for recovery kit. They would be able to help you:

    http://welcome.HP.com/country/us/en/wwcontact_us.html

There could be a need for 2-3 recovery disks. If you want a drive USB flash, I would say that you are using the Flash Player with minimum 8 GB of free space. Please see the following link for more information:

  • HP Pavilion dv6-6117dx 'recovery has failed' HELP as soon as POSSIBLE

So, I try on my HP Pavilion dv6-6117dx with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - Bit, to use my recovery disks to recover to factory State. I do everything he says he too. But after that the extra disk is ejected and goes to the HP screen installation of Applications or something, it's like a green screen with 2 bars and when it is done it just pops up with an error saying 'Failed to retrieve' it gives me three options "Save Log, details, or try again.» I did all the steps. Retryed about 7 times but every time the same thing pops up. I need to know how to solve this problem in 16/03/13.

    Hello:

I can't help you with the dilemma of recovery disc because sometimes they do not work and there is nothing you can do about it, unfortunately.

If you can still read all 25 characters of the product key of Windows 7 on the bottom of your PC, do your own regular W7 installation media, so you can at least install W7 and get your notebook back operational.

    Here's how...

  • HP pavilion dv7-6b55dx recovery disk

    Hi all

I have a hp Pavilion dv7-6b55dx hard drive failed.  Fairly easy to install a new hard drive, but its been a bit more difficult to find any kind of information recovery disk.  The laptop has a hand, and we only had a very short time. Ever created of my own restore disks (I know, I know).  It used Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.

I can't find anything on the HP site regarding recovery assistance, its seems that my camera is no longer supported.  I spoke with Microsoft, although the Windows product key is always on the computuer itself, they said I have to buy a new operating system on their part.  And then even after that, I guess I would have to update the other pilot material as well and may require some sort of recovery disk?  I've been on the HP site, it doesn't seem to be another option to pay to speak with someone, and at this point, I'm afraid that I would pay to hear that there nothing more they can do.

If you can't tell from my post, I'm not the most computer-savvy person.  I searched online for ideas and found no too.  Most other suggestions are a few years now and do not seem to apply more.  Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

So, I ordered a new set of recovery disks for my (out of warranty) Pavilion p6654y, I received a confirmation email and a CSO number. For about 2 weeks I got the confirmation of order, but records have not delivered. Also, I checked with my Bank and the money for the purchase has not yet released. • Pavilion dv6 7013 cl: about the computer hp laptop pavilion dv6 - 7013 cl/entertainment / it supports windows 10?

    Hello support,

Please, could you tell me is hp pavilion dv6 - 7013cl entertainment notebook 10 64-bit windows support, isn't even available all the drivers to download for windows 10 for hp pavilion dv6.

You have all your customer reviews, how fitting is hp pavilion dv6 7013 for windows 10?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Granite

I can only tell you my experience - when I tried to upgrade my hp DV6 and had Win10 fail and leave it in an unusable state.  I'm waiting for the recovery discs arrive at HP, so that I can restore and get back to work.

There is no Win10 at HP for the DV6 drivers - I checked.

Before the upgrade, I would say that it does not support Win10 - as their tool to check upgrade reported no hardware or software problem, and that my machine was ready to be upgraded.

But... This is obviously not true, or he would not have missed the upgrade.

The first service pack to Win10 (only they do not call it a service pack, they call it a Service Release) will come out this week.  So I would wait until the month next to the upgrade.
