  Next to the installation of VAP, you must also install the utility Flash Cards of Support provided by European Toshiba driver page.
  The Flash Cards Support utility controls the FN keys and it must be installed to get buttons FN working again.

• Hot Key integration re - install

  Currently, I have re-installed Windows on a Lenovo ThinkPad T450s 10, installed hot key, power management integration, & Lenovo settings app. The hot key integration works great, when I press Caps Lock shift it appears on my screen. But the problem I have is when I go into control panel I can not find on the view tab of the screen under Show advanced settings. I'm trying essentially to set the caps lock to show at any time on the screen when its coastline on all caps. Is there a registry change that needs to be done so that it works? Or is there any software that I'm missing? Thanks in advance for any help.

  Thank you for your help. But I thought about it (thank God). I down loaded an earlier version of Hot Key integration. Now I see on the screen in the control panel under Advanced display settings. I can now set the time & change the color scheme. It must either be 8.72.10 or 8.63.10 of Hot Key integration version.

• Z710 Touch Pad Hot Key does not work...

  So I just got my z710 the other day. clone the drive (for a rainy day). Then formatted and installed Win7 Pro 64-bit. I managed to get everything in working order, except that I would sometimes like to disable the touchpad. I use a mouse for games and other and access key does not work to turn it off. BTW, all the other hot keys does what its meant to do. Any Suggestions?

  
  

• Hot Keyes for the brightness of the monitor on the SL510

  I have a very annoying problem with hotkeyes to adjust the brightness of the screen! After the latest version of the driver hotkeyes they do not work. I can not increase or decrease the brightness. Pressing down and can not change anything. And there is something more! For example, I've adjusted some level of power manager and everything looks good, until I don't have to manage the brightness with hot keyes. I is not serious if I want to increase or decrease the brightness, it just goes to the maximum level!

  Someone knows something for this problem?

  Having a problem with my laptop keyboard where the function hotkey keys have suddenly stopped to work as they did. By pressing the hot keys results in an f1-12 rather than the previous function of volume change, keyboard toggle and change the brightness etc.

  This happened when install me some new drivers for an audio interface, so can be linked to that. Ive tried to go into the BIOS and toggle on and outside keyboard shortcut option and install software quick launch hp but nothing has worked so far.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated

  Open the Device Manager

  Expand monitors

  Right-click on the Generic PnP monitor

  Click on properties

  Click Activate

  In addition, update driver utility system from the link below.

  CTRL-ALT does not work on my PC.  It works on others in society.  I tried EVERYTHING I can think of to solve the problems.  ESX 4 does not have hot keys as the Workstation version preferences, so how can you address them?  It worked until I had to recreate the image on my PC and reinstall the VI Client.  Of course install VMTools "fixes" the problem, but it is a problem when installing a Linux VM.  I have to hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, to accuse received the warning about sending this command to the computer, change etc the CD all that setting (or read an email or go to another application) and then go back and get locked until the next time I need the mouse.

  I googled everywhere and no luck - no one has never had this problem? !

  I had a similar problem before. If you have changed the default ctrl-alt keys in VI client WS will be affected too.

  Thanks for your replies. My reason for decommissioning is a requirement with my Autocad Architecture 2012 which does not work on windows 8.1. Stupid me! I should have looked into this before buying the computer. But I like the computer because it is a 64 bit with 8 GB of memory and I love the W8.1 too. Very compatible with my ph sound cell phone android. So until I can afford to upgrade my Autocad I'm stuck with Win7.

  Do you mean the fn + f key combinations?

  If that is correct, you can change the default behavior as follows.

  Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at the esc you key start Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Select the Bios ( f10 ) option, and then change the figure in the document at the following link.
