HP Pavilion g6-1145sg no longer starts.

Hello

My HP Pavilion 1145sg g6 won't start, what should I do? It stops with the Windows 7 logo start, I tried everything, I even tried to explain with the instalation of Windows 7 DVD, but nothing has worked, at least I tried a "hard drive Self Test separator", and then he said: 'hard drive Quick (303) 1. What should I do? I've always guaranteed. I made pictures of the card/number, the laptop and the error message: click here for Photos. Here are the photos/PDF for the guarantee of 'things': click here for Photos (I found the warranty PDF on my second HP Pavilion g6-1145sg that I bought at the same time in the same shop online for my son). I hope you can help me, thank you in advance.

Yours faithfully,

MJ van der Velden

PS. the account is the name of my wife.

Hello

303 error seems to indicate that the drive is defective and must be replaced - it is also compatible with startup problems you describe.

As your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP (the telephone number can be found on the corresponding link below) and arrange for the replaced disk.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

Kind regards

There is a Snow Leopard update that would probably help.  It's called 10.6.8 Combo update.  Download and apply.  Then discover iTunes.

  • Skype no longer starts with Windows, no more automatic connection (also very slow start)

I can't deal with the bug of 'mark as read' but Skype no longer starts with Windows (even though it says that it should in msconfig) and there more no option password/auto login as before to remember. Skype always started automatically before 7.17, and it took a few seconds to start. Now, it takes about 2 minutes to click on the icon to connect. What is the problem with this version? Fortunately I've never known messages in the wrong order-bug.

    I use Windows 8.1.

The sign of the Auto option should be available in the tools of-> Options-> General settings.

  • iTunes no longer starts

Hi, for some time my iTunes no longer starts.

My setup: laptop Lenovo, Windows 7, SP1

    12.3.35 iTunes (latest version)

I have read a lot of discussion and followed the instructions but nothing helped.

    Current situation:

    -Windows 7, reinstalled-

-new version downloaded iTunes (30.12.2015) and installed

    -Systemchecks does, no error message

    -Security software is Norton 360

If I boot my computer in safty mode, itunes is in place, as you can now this is not really usable but most of the drivers are not loadad in Windows.

In normal mode, after starting itunes itunes process can be seen in the Task Manager but itunes does not appear and the trial goes away after a while.

    ITunesHelper process runs

There is no difference between not connected to iNet or not

    Any idea?

  • Pavilion dv7-6b32us: that means start diagnosis failure ID QC6C51-5R67HW-QFPH4K-402BO3?

    HP Pavilion dv7-6b32us laptop

Start-up took like 15 minutes so I did some diagnostics and received a failure id QC6C51-5R67HW-QFPH4K-402BO3

The operating system could be zero, but not sure.

What is the error? Can't seem to find anything online. Very much appreciate your help.

    Thank you!

It seems that the hard drive has failed/is a failure and should be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 500 GB hard drive you can use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.

My HP Pavilion dv7t-3000 does not start. I checked this article: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01732674

According to who, the error condition is: 'non-functional CPU.

So if I buy a new processor and disassemble the laptop and replace the processor, it will fix the problem?

Perhaps, but it is much more likely to be the motherboard. If the motherboard is bad, you can't trust the blink codes that it generates. Failures of the CPU but rarely occur. Motherboard failure happens all the time.

  • I have a HP laptop with vista that no longer starts.

I have a HP laptop with vista that no longer starts. I get the initial screen of HP and can access the configuration, but after that, all I get is a black screen with a blinking cursor. I ran the diagnostic test on my hard drive and it happened, but my computer still does not start.

    Hi Shannon6836,

    1. Since when are you facing this problem?
    2. you remember to make changes to the computer before the question?

    3. are you able to boot in safe mode?

See the methods mentioned below and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

Start your computer in safe mode

If you are able to start in safe mode, follow the steps mentioned below to complete the restore of the system:

Note: System Restore does not affect personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos. You can only restore files that you have deleted if you have made backups of these files.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to disconnect all devices external one except keyboard and mouse and try to start your computer and check if it helps.

    Method 3:

I also suggest you perform a startup repair and check if this solves the problem.

    Follow the steps below:

    a. Please insert the Windows Vista DVD and restart the computer.

    b. when we are invited to press a key to boot from the DVD, please press enter or the SPACEBAR.
    c. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
    d. click repair your computer.
    e. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
    f. in the System Recovery Options menu, click on the Startup Repair. Startup Repair can invite you to make choices as it tries to solve the problem, and if necessary, it may restart your computer, because it makes the repairs.

If the Startup Repair tool is an option of recovering preinstalled on your computer:
    a. remove all floppy disks, CDs, and DVDs from your computer, and then restart your computer.

    Restart the computer

    b. do one of the following:
    i. If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

II. If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to repair, and then press and hold F8.
III. in the display Advanced Startup Options , use the arrow keys to select repair your computerand press ENTER. (If repair your computer is not listed as an option, then your computer does not include startup as a preinstalled recovery option repair).
IV. Select a keyboard layout, and then click Next.
    v. Select a username and enter the password, and then click OK.
VI. in the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair. Startup Repair can invite you to make choices as it tries to solve the problem and, if necessary, it may restart your computer, because it makes the repairs.

  • My laptop HP Pavilion G6 takes so long to start and other issues.

Hello! I have problems with my laptop, I have a HP Pavilion g6. This isn't an old computer I only got it for less then a year. My laptop takes so long to start. When I turn on the laptop it takes so long to come to the screen where u enter your password and when I type my password it takes so long to come to my home screen and now its freezes sometimes when I throw things like facebook or other things. I tried fixing it by having my laptop for a problem look. He found a problem that I've corrected, but it did not help. I tried google, and he says things like u might have a lot of cookies, junk files, virus or cache etc (I have an anti-virus installed in my computer as well). Very confusing! Its my 1st laptop after a very long period and this information is very confusing to me. If anyone can help!

Original title: problem with my windows 8.

Security Essentials scans files as they are downloaded from the Internet, Yes.  In my opinion, no other additional internet security is necessary as long as you practice good habits like not downloading websites you really trust and take seriously the messages of warning and never just by clicking 'allow' unless really trust you him.

Also on startup programs, you have no need to again use the program. If you disable on this auto start, you can still open the program when you want normally (the only difference is that the program cannot start itself without you more).
