  Looks like your .exe file association has been broken.

  After flashing my Bios on Pavilion DM4t-1100 CTO, I can no more enter into the BIOS setup (via the ESC key).  I installed the BIOS twice and the computer always ignores the ESC key and launches Windows 7.  Any ideas?

  Well you're response made me experiment more and I discovered that the ESC key works if I type repeatedly instead pressed constantly.  Thank you for taking the time to answer!

  It doesn't matter if I'm on the web, in my yahoo email or file open on my drive C:, my computer times out after 30 seconds, then the screen is replaced with my screen saver.  Does anyone have a solution for this problem?  It's annoying when you constantly have to hit enter so often to return to the previous screen...   Right-click on your desktop--->Properties --->---> set amount of time, before the screen saverthe screen saver tab.

  In the meantime, I just uninstall the AMD driver through the Device Manager and it solved the problem, at least for the moment. I don't know that it will try to install it again with a future set of updates. For now, I'll hang on and wait until the next break.

  I have a problem with the Hibernate. I did a fresh install of Win7 x 64, had some difficulty finding drivers and so on, but I got everything.

  Sleep function works perfectly, but when I try to put the computer in hibernation, is the only thing that is happening, that the screen turns off, and when I move the mouse or touchpad that it turns on again, I put in my pass or fingerprint, and everything is as if nothing has happened.

  I tried with graphics integrated or discrete, lenovo Power Manager installed or uninstalled, hybrid sleep is turned off, wake on LAN is off...

  Tried to disable network cards, USB ports... nothing helps.

  I am disappointed by the performance of the Realtek RTL8188EE wireless card installed in my laptop. I see that there is the posibility that I can replace this card with an Intel Dual Band AC3160. Is that what someone sees no reason to change my perception?

• I have a HP Pavilion all-in-one PC with windows 7 and it has stopped responding.

  It's hard to guess, because there is not much information to work with.  I'll give some basic steps you can take to see if it helps. Try to clear the temporary internet files, cache and other things non-essential to your system.    You can do this in the Tools menu, then internet options.  There is a good freeware called CCleanercleaning program. I use it and it found a lot of junk and ignores.  It also cleans the registry for you as well. If your hard disk is very full this could slow down as well. see if there are files you can back off the drive or remove to free up space.  It is also possible that your system is dusty and dirty, and it slows down the processor. Maybe it's time to clean the vents and see if the radiator in the PC is clogged by dust.  Heat can also slow down a PC, especially if it's left on a lot so be sure that it is also well cleaned.
