HP Pavilion g7-1375sa Notebook: upgrade of Windows 10 is compatible my laptop wil?

10 Windows to launch July 29

I wanted to know, is it safe to upgrade my laptop Windows 10 of Microsoft and what is the best way to do it.

My system:

Processor: Intel (R) Pentium (r) CPU 2.20 GHz 2.20 GHz B960

Installed (live RAM) memory GB 6.00

System type: 64-bit, x 64 processor operating system

Also, I have not received the small Windows icon at the right end of the taskbar, to book a free upgrade?

These small icons come slowly out, so be patient.

I intend to make an image to the top of my HDD using Macrium reflect free before installing Win 10 just in case something goes wrong.

There is another link to the Microsoft site to book the upgrade, but the "book now" link isn't properly working, please try this last.

  • HP pavilion g6: should I upgrade to windows 10

    Hello

I wanted to know if I should upgrade to windows 10 or not.

I checked my pc with the windows 10 application and he said that your computer meets all the requirements. But I wanted to know whether or not windows 10 is a stable operating system.

When I bought my pc it ran Windows 8 and I have upgraded to windows 8.1. My pc has a few small problems since then.

Most of them slipped, but there is a little. I have not found windows 8.1 as a stable OS, it has flaws and is not fluid.

And if windows 10 is good, then tell me how should I update. I saw there are two types of upgrade. One is to you

move all your files and software for windows a 10 and the other is that you start over completely. So what I should how and

    should I upgrade?

    @AA7,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  At this point I would like to wait a few months for all the bugs to settle with the operating system and compatibility with the software and drivers.

It normally takes a few months for an operating system to take the ist wake when dealing with hardware and software.

Keep an eye on the support page for your laptop.  Then pass the drivers and software for windows 10 becomes listed.

Thanks for the post and have a great day.

You know it's a real shame that HP didn't advise people to do it before we upgraded. Now you admit that your drivers do not work with Windows 10. Bunch of idiots.

  • Pavilion dv6700 entertainment: loss of sound on pavilion dv6700 since the upgrade to Windows 10

Since the upgrade to windows 10 I lost my audio... can not play MP3 music and the system sounds don't work... wanted for driver sound card and found three recommended... each of them has reported a hardware not found... decided to reinstall the driver of sound card on my install of windows 7, as luckily I backed up all my drivers before moving on to OS10... even if it is installed, still no sound... removed devices and drivers and let the laptop reinstall after rebooting... do not know what else to try... do not believe that there is a sound muting function key that I do not know... Thank you

    UPDATE...
just try the idea of setting frequency to 16-bit 9600, but I got no sound error box [...], then is alle went settings improvements where she has low etc etc settings has been disabled so it allowed without choosing any of... then I went back and changed the default frequency which is 24 bit 19200... then told me not supported by this device but then miraculously it worked... have now all music sound restored windows all... don't know if still have windows 7 driver... it is MS 2008... really afraid to update the driver because it is all now work... don't know how I fixed it but, was it a particular action? or a combination...? • I've upgraded to Windows 7 and now my laptop mouse scroll button will not work.

I have upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 on my Fujitsu Lifebook laptop.

The mouse that is built into my computer is a tablet with a typical right button and left button - and between these 2 buttons are 2 small buttons that can scroll and down the documents and Web sites. Well, since I have upgraded from Vista to 7, this button did not work. Not on Web pages, not on Word documents, not on anything!

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thank you!

Check on the Fujitsu website to see if they have a Windows 7 driver
for your touchpad. If they download and install it. If they are not,
    you're out of luck.

  • Pavilion M70 monitor and upgrade to Windows XP

I upgraded my desktop computer Pavilion XL775 to Windows XP for me.  The monitor is a 17IN M70, using an NVIDIA Vanta AGP card.  After the upgrade, my monitor does not display a picture.  I have tried to download the new NVIDIA drivers and instructions from HP but no use.  The HP support page, I've referenced: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph02073

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

    Thank you!

    1024 x 768 @ 60 Hz works fine for me now.

When you install the M70 driver (by HP Web site mode), I got a message that said that it was necessary to the HPD04870. CIM file.  It turns out that the installer put it in the C \WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS folder.  After pointing to this file, I was able to reuse the monitor.

  • HP Pavilion DV 6330 ea upgrade to Windows 7

    Hello

I want to perform a new installation of Windows 7 Ultimate on my HP laptop

    The laptop has sticks of memory 2 x 512 MB 2Rx16 PC2-5300 s-555-12-AO

My question is this aura Windows 7 Ultimateand the amount of RAM can take of this motherboard?

I've seen plenty of RAM following for sale online, but this will be compatiable as seems to be faster RAM?

    PC2 - 6400S

    Hello

Information on Ram max settings for your model, you can find here on the site of Kingston.

You will find compatible memory for this model also.

As you can check it your motherboard supports 2 GB Ram max. The type is PC2-5300 (667 MHz).

It is not sensible to buy Ram PC2-6400 (800 MHz), because it may not work on your model and even if it will work its speed will be reduced to 667 MHz.

Dv6000 models work well in Windows 7, but they they have not received official support / drivers for this HP System.

If you are looking for drivers, then all you can find in this guide:

  • Pavilion g6-2235tx Notebook: upgrade of RAM for Pavilion g6-2235tx laptop

R & M for this laptop Guide said a max of 8G of RAM more 2 slots i.e. max of 4G / slot and DDR3 - 1600 MHz dual channel support for a next generation processor Intel Core.

Processor = Intel Core i7-3632QM processor (2.2 GHz, turbo SC up to 3.1 GHz, 1600 MHz/6 MB cache L3, quad core, 35W and record 2 channels memory max

    My current RAM is Ramaxel 4 G 2rx8 PC3 - 12800S 11-11 - 1f (East DDR3 up to 1.5V)

My question is, as the current RAM is 2 channels (2sx8) can the RAM in the second slot (to go to 8g) be 2 channels or what I need to remove the current RAM and replace it with two new modules of memory RAM of 1 channel (1sx8)?  If this is the case can I used DDR3L (1.35v), which is also a processor specification, instead of DDR3?

    Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can use DDR3L since you have the 3rd generation of processor. Here is the Manual:

    Repair manuals

You certainly don't want to mix high and low tension RAM. If you plan to install 2 modules, you want them to be the same density (number of rows) and, ideally, you want them to be identical.

    So I'd get 2 x 4 gig DDR3L-1600 modules.
