HP Pavilion p7 - 1050t CTO Deskt: graphics card problem of 610 GT desktop HP Pavilion p7 - 1050t CTO

I have a HP Pavilion p7 - 1050t CTO desktop PC and you want to install a GE video card FORCE GT 610. Online research indicates that the card must be compatible with this motherboard (PEGATRON CORPORATION 2AC2). The BIOS is FRIEND V7.14 dated 11/08/2011.  I have improved the power supply to a 750 W unit and 8 GB of RAM. I'm on Windows 10. The jury has a PCI slot express v2.0.

When I install the card, the computer does not start after the first blue screen to press ESC for installation. At this point, the computer hangs and must be turned off manually. If I remove the card and back on board graphics, everything is fine.

I just wanted to update the chart because the edge does not support OPEN GL 3.2 graphics, I need new software recently purchased.

I'm sure that's not the card as this is the second card I tried, with the same results.

Any help appreciated.

Never mind.  I decided to just buy a new computer.

Thank you.

  • Qosmio G40-10 s: graphics card problem

    Hello.

I have a Toshiba Qosmio G40 laptop 10s with a Nvidea 8600 M GT grafixs card. I was playing a game when it locked up and pasted what I would describe as flashing red/green 'Matrixy' search screen.

He then a blue screen and trys to reeboot.
He tries to start windows, but once again the top matrix. If it loads to the top, it is in 16 bit color with red dots all over the screen.

I am sure that the GPU is fried... and I was wondering what I can do? It's been 5 months out of warranty now.

I read on some forums that there have been a lot of problems with this Nvidea card... Is there anything I can do outside my warranty period with what there is a possibly faulty card in it from the beginning.

It will cost a lot of money to get it repaired, but its too good a laptop to let go to waste.

    Any help is very appreciated.

    Hello

You also have these lines on an external monitor?
If so, there seems to be a graphics card problem and it must be replaced.

These overheating problems also occur if you use the nVidia display drivers directly. Toshiba drivers are pre-tested and don't overheat your system.

But I think you need professional help. You should contact an authorized service provider and talk to the technicians. They will help you! :)

  • HP pavilion slimline s3632me graphic card problem

    It's my computer: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01552288 & lang = to & cc = us & conte...

my graphics card has a fan that is not working, and I don't get any signal on my monitor after 20 minutes of start... so I decided to get a new graphics card which is better.

so I want to know what is the max graphics card that I can put in this computer and should I go for the same type (AC express graphics card) or get any type that can work with the computer?

Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion Slimline s3632me desktop computer and its card mother M2N61-AR (Acacia). Based on the specifications, this model has a power of 160 watts, a graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS PCIe x 16 HDMI and DVI - I outputs and integrated nVidia GeForce 6150SE graphics with a VGA output. Note that the discreet graphics card and the built-in graphics card is not usable at the same time.

You need to replace the graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS PCIe x 16 with a x 16 low profile PCIe graphics card (the card must have a power system recommend assessment of 160 watts or less). All purchased card that has a higher recommended system power supply requirement will require the purchase of a new power supply, follow the recommendations in cards. Your computer's power supply is not a standard ATX power supply and can be difficult to find.

  • HP Pavilion P6-2065UK graphics card problems

    Hello

Have HP Pavilion P6-2065UK, with 8 GB of Ram and have installed the new power supply Corsair CX430 Watt.

When I install the new graphics card Nvidia Geforce GT 630, blank screen appears, you can hear Windows 7 startup screen open, but not the current view.

I spent in mode Bios to confirm the x 16 slot is enabled and that sometimes the PCI Express card is shown. I tried enabling and disabling onboard video in Bios, no joy. Cannot go to Safe Mode.

I also tried to use Google Remote Desktop connect the HP device to another PC so that I can try and see office, but as soon as you turn off the power, the unique necessary 12-digit PIN is reset to zero and I lose the connection.

I am still able to use the onboard video of origin but not the Nvidia card.

Been going on for a while now.

Any help with this would be really appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • HP Pavilion G6 - Radeon graphics card problem

    Hi all!

I have a laptop HP Pavilion G6-2240SH, which has two graphics card. I use the Windows 8.1 operating system

The motherboard graphics card works correctly. But there is another hyper-super card: Radeon HD 7600 M

I tried to use the official driver of the HP site and other drivers of the official site of the Radeon, but it does not work.

The operating system tells me that "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)".

Do you have an idea what could be the problem with my video card?

    Thank you...

    Hello:

On models with the AMD/Intel switchable graphics, you must use the graphics driver on the support page and drivers for your laptop.

    See if it works...

Download and run the driver again from the assistance of your notebook page.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-113258-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=4158&product=5319684&sw_lang=

Go to Device Manager and click on the graphics card from amd problem.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select Browse my computer for driver software method and go t the record of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp59936.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

If this does not work, see if this driver works quite...

  • HP Pavilion P6 2055sc: Cant enter BIOS because graphic card problem.

    Hey!
So for the moment, I try to turn on virtualization, I m able to boot the computer into windows but do not enter network boot (anti-spam f10 key before the HP loading screen) but because of the past problems, I struggle to get into the BIOS.
It all started when I got a new (Asus Geforce GT740) graphics card and this caused my computer not being able to start, without forcing in the network boot.

But like I said, when im trying to get into the BIOS, it gets to the screen where it says "Press Escape to access the Boot Menu" which, at that time, it ignores when I press ESC.

I tried holding it, I tried all the keys F1 - F12, but nothing makes a difference, so im wondering if there is a way for me to get into the bios and work around this problem.
I looked for so updates to the BIOS, but I couldn't find one so far.

    @alilleland, welcome to the forum.

The reason for which the computer would not start with the GT installed 740 is, it requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  If you always use the GT 740, I suggest to withdraw to see if you can enter in the Boot Menu.  You can do that by typing the ESC key as soon as the computer begins to start.

  • HP Pavilion 550-153na: graphics card problem

For some reason any graphics card with my PC came looming as an AMD Radeon (TM) R5 M320 rather than a 330 R5.

    You are welcome.

I don't know why CPUID will not recognize some components.  It works very well with my Omen gaming laptop.  It shows the integrated and discrete video card.

I suggest you to contact HP customer care for an answer to your question.  I am not sure if the specifications are not correct or an incorrect video card has been installed.  Might be the case.

Is compatible with my HP Pavilion HPE h9-1033uk Phoenix

Thank you in advance to shed light on this question,

I'm not very competent in PC changes.

    Confused_novice, welcome to the forum.

The card must be compatible.  However, my only concern is the length of it.  It is 10.43 ".  Measure the existing card to see if they compare.

  • Windows 7 graphics card problem

I have a HP Envy 17 t 3000 CTO Notebook PC product # LW900AV Every so often I get the message "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" for some time, but has never been able to solve the problem. Then I started getting the blue screen of death which says something about a dump of memory and a driver from memory. Usually I hold down the power button and restart.

Then, while in windows mode the screen got all staticy, to restart, I have the windows logo, then I see a black screen with static in it and never completely, he began. I can go in safe mode without any graphic or other problem.

Go to Device Manager I deleted the driver for AMD Radeon HD 7690 M XT graphics card, then restarted, and it will start and will work perfectly with the other driver (Intel) until Windows loaded another driver for the Radeon driver (I couldn't stop) after the loading screen would be left empty. Nothing found online so far has solved the problem.

Then, I went into recovery and returned to the factory settings. That worked for a few hours, everything worked fine. Then I started to have static electricity once again, until I'm right here where I started.

Can someone tell me exactly what the problem is? Hardware or driver? Why does it work temporarily? Is it possible to completely disable the Radeon driver for good, where it is not reload on reboot? My computer has two graphics drivers (don't know why) is it possible to use the other driver instead (the Intel driver)?

Since it is not under warranty, if I brought a technician is something they can do?

    Thanks for your help!

Looks like're you allowing / victim of a Windows update that includes the wrong video driver for your system.

You could do things to do work things out and later a update of Windows comes with the wrong driver video and things mess for you.  Microsoft does not know what are the best drivers of material (audio, video, network), with your system and often sends the bad and if you don't pay attention to the updates, your system may malfunction.

First let's take a look at what you get when it is broken so that you know what things look like.

Click on the button/ORB start in the lower left corner of your screen. Or, press the button of your keyboard Windows logo.

    In the type box:

    Msinfo32

Select / click msinfo32.exe and the system information dialog box opens.

Click System summary, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and then paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.

For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) feedback here.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.

In the display section, pay attention to / take note of the Version of the driver that you know does not work for example:

15.200.1062.1004 driver version (your going to say something different)

If you have the system to a point where things seem to be working, go back in msinfo32 and also take note of the version of the driver that works.

Then hop out on the HP support site and download/install the driver proper (32/64-bit) from here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-envy-17-notebook-PC-series/5145668/model/5180699

Then restart your system and return to msinfo32 and check the new display driver version to remember that he has updated and see how things look for and report.

If you did a factory reset, you can use the preinstalled HP Support Assistant to help with the video drivers, or you can download the HP Support Assistant from here:

is it possible to replace a defective graphics on a 2012 end iMac 21.5 inches?

While I don't see a reference to a spare part for the model

in a guide iFixit for the repair of this model, it may be that an expert could

  • Satellite X 200 - 21R - graphics card problem

    Hello

When I start my laptop Satellite X 200 - 21R, there are three successive beep (3 x) and the screen is black.

Apparently, it's the graphics card NVIDIA 8600GT DUAL SLI, it is defective.
It is a montage of special graphics (SLI) card with 2 x GPU 8600 connected in parallel.

If I disconnect the connection in parallel (unplug the two cards) and I can only connect one (to find the card that is dead)?
It is possible and it is functional for the laptop?

    Thank you for your help

To be honest, I can't imagine if it would be possible...
Generally, any change of material must be accepted and supported by the BIOS and as much as I know any GPU changes would affect the BIOS as well as the features of the laptop.

From my point of few to get the workbook, you must use exactly the same GPU chip, which was built in the laptop... but this seems to be a very expensive affair

  • The Portege S100 graphics card problem?

I have a Portege S100-S113TD, and I was watching a youtube fullscreen video, when the screen went suddenly full of horizontal lines and the laptop became unresponsive - I had to physically hold the power button for about 10 seconds turn off.

Now it turns on but I only have a blank screen - it is the graphics card?

If so, can anyone suggest where I can buy a replacement graphics card?

The current one is a nVidia GeForce Go 6200TE 64M / 128 M 6600TE - I tried looking for one, but perhaps they are now obsolete.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    > Now it turns on but I only have a blank screen - it is the graphics card?
    It seems that Yes

But you are able to test the laptop with an additional external monitor?
If possible, connect the external monitor and press Fn + F5 to check if something would be visible on 2nd screen.
If photos on 2nd screen would be visible, then the GPU is OK and only your internal display is faulty.

I buyed new hp-15r033tx of the Amazon, it says 2 GB graphics card but when right click-> personalization-> advanced settings. It shows only 64 MB.

    Hello

    Your laptop uses Nvidia Optimus.

On this type of system, the Intel gpu is always used to render the final display, regardless of whether or not the discrete Nvidia chip is used for the treatment chart - that's why you see properties for the Intel chip for the display device.

For more information on the functioning of this type of "Switchable" graphics technology, see the white paper at the following link.
