  I have a huge problem... I installed Windows 7 64 BIT on this computer and I can't get the ethernet and wireless services to work. Can someone please help me find the right drivers for these devices to work. Any driver who introduced to Windows 8 has worked, BUT those for the enternet and wireless adapters. If someone can point me in the right direction for where to find the drivers for these adapters either from HP or the manufacturers of the devices

  (I can't find anywhere what kind of adapters so I can go to the website of download drivers manufacturers.)

• Problem adding RAM on HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-b129wm Sleekbook

  OK, so I have a 4 GB stick in there from when I bought the laptop, but I thought to add more so I got some crucial. Unfortunately for me, it is not a 'door' bit convenient for me to open to access the RAM, so I have to take everything... from ahead. For the first time I put in RAM, I kinda had to put a force on the subject, you know (first time ever put RAM in a laptop), but the metal little clamps on the sides don't click so I just opened the pliers, put it in there then their closed. I said "well I hope that it works" and good thing the computer turned on and everything but when I went to the system (I have Windows 8) they say I have only 4 GB installed. I took it apart again (pain in the ass, you mind) and went out of the RAM and once more tried with the clamps snapping, of course, has not. So I decided to do the same thing and who knows what happened? THE SAME THING. OK now I'm checking the BIOS as well and he also says 4 GB so now I'm here. Please help me: c

  the issue is video card has no working driver detect.

  I can't get the error code, because the screen is not something.

  I don't know that the computer's boot up because it can be access by teamviewer and display a 640 x 480 screen.

  Currently, I'm using miscrosoft default display driver.   instead of intel and AMD driver. to display the screen of 1024 x 168, at least I can see something now... and the fan is screaming...

  1 update the bios to version 1 c 2013

  2 install the 3rd party graphics driver 15.7 in

  -installation run the bat than genrated

  -install the graphics driver intel first

  -Restart

  -install the driver AMD

  seems to graphics card works now!

  and when I use the HP support, assistance program to install the driver, Windows broke down during the installation of this driver.

  Please provide the corect Bluetooth driver.

  The HP site reader bluetooth driver name is different for the 8 & 8.1 Win win

  I installed a clean windows and install the Ralink driver without problem

  My laptop was purchased in 2007 and ran from Windows Vista. Vista was so bad in 2013 at the beginning, I installed Windows 8 (at the cheap price).  I do not regret the change, but it left me with one problem...

  During the upgrade of the W8 display driver has been changed to the display driver Microsoft Basic. It has distorted the image on the screen.  It reduces an image North/South (so a perfect on-screen circle resembles an ellipse). A picture of a car seems extremely strange. I tried to download the latest driver on the HP site, but it will not let me install - error message says it is only for Vista, and the installation is complete. The HP Web site confirms that there is no suitable driver for installation of Windows 8 on my laptop.

  Is there no workaround solution for this please. Grateful for any advice.

  There is that one way, I don't know to get the graphics to work directly with the W8 (and W7 too).

  Download and run this driver. You can get an error not supported operating system or something like.

  Conclusion of any windows error.

  Now, go into the Device Manager. Click to expand the section graphics cards. Click on the graphics card of Microsoft Basic. Click the Driver tab click on Update driver.

  Select the browse my computer for Driver Software method, navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the above driver.

  This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp42635.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

  After you restart, you should have the correct nVidia graphics display card installed.

• Windows 7: video driver for Minecraft

  I'veupgraded my laptop Dell Inspiron 1545 from Vista to Windows 7. Minecraft worked before upgrading.

  I have re-installed Minecraft, but when I try and run it, it won't open and I get an error message telling me to update my graphics driver.

  However, when I run the update of device Intel driver, it comes in white - suggesting there is nothing that requires the upgrade. When I opened device adapters Manager\Display and click on "Mobile Intel 45 Express Chipset Family" (the only entry here) and click on 'Update Driver' she also tells me that I have the latest version installed.

  The version of the driver that I currently have is: Mobile Intel(r) 45 Express Chipset (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1) family.   I read somewhere else that the ILO WDDM can be a problem, but when I tried to download it again from Intel it was version WDDM.

  Any suggestions?

  Welcome to the HP forums!

  To install your Officejet 6310 on your new Touchsmart PC, I highly recommend that you download and run the HP printer installation wizard. This tool will find and download the software for you on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. You can leave the USB cable plugged all the time and that makes things easier as well

  I bought this item to the United Kingdom in July 2013, so I'm still under warranty.

  Very frustrating because what I really do is keep my drivers up to date so I can use my machine to what I need to use it for and keep it healthy and maintained.  I thought really what one simple question, i.e. connect HP official website, download the drivers, install them and continue my life.

  I have added, when I download the other software updates of the pre installed HP support assistant, it downloads things well but does not install them.  However my main concern in this post in particular is the drivers for my graphics card and the modem etc.  I tried this new temporarily disable my firewall for my safety see if it's the reason, but no, she didn't always.

  Can someone help me find drivers for my computer officially HP (not a questionable site) so I can keep my computer updated and heathy please.

  Just select the operating system to drop down and you have the drivers for your PC.

  Alternatively, you can simply install (if not already installed) HP Support Assistant - which will be directly check for the software and drivers available and will allow you to install without having to open Web pages for your driver needs.

  I have a HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14 - b120sa Sleekbook which has 1 year 6 months.

  At full load, the battery lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes, whereas it should be 5 to 6 hours.

  I performed some diagnostic tests that say the battery is fine.

  Can someone advise me on how to extend the life of the battery, or preferably, how to buy a new battery for my model.
