HP Premium Digital Headset

I just bought my son the above headphones for pc and there is only one problem that the sound does not come from both sides of the helmet.  If you move the microphone to switch L to R then its moves on the other side never both.  If we look on pc it displays 100 L and R, but the sound tests have sound on one side only you can help or to return these shop?

Hello

I think you should go back to the shop...

If the sound level is 100, and if you go to playback devices, right click on the sound icon, you must have the helmet that there are listed.

Try to connect the headset to another USB port or use them in another PC, its must go to two places, otherwise, please go to the store and exchange them!

Thank you

  • Problem with HP Premium Digital Headset (XA490AA)

Hi, I bought very recently (a week back) a HP Premium Digital Headset (XA490AA) and it seems to work perfectly and has a great sound, but he had a problem. The right side of the headset, for no reason, will stop working then start working. For example, I'll use my computer for maybe a few hours to a full day, and then the right side will stop working. Then he started working as if by magic somehow.

I remember the first day I bought it, there was a bit of a problem of balance. For some reason, kept her moving completely to the right, leaving the soft left.

I have it plugged into different USB ports, but the problem persists.

I search online and it seems that so far I'm the only one having this problem, and I would rather go back to where I bought it if I can solve the problem.

I got a Logitech USB Headset, prior to that, and it worked fine.

    I use Windows 7 x 64 on a HP Pavilion Slimline.

    Malcharion, welcome to the forum.

You did a great job of explaining your problem!  However, my search proved unsuccessful, too.  I guess that you are alone in this. Which tells me, is that there must be a problem with the headphones.  If it was one of the USB 2.0 ports, they would work in one of the other.  If there was a problem with the operating system, probably someone else would be to have a kind of problem; may not be the same as yours.

You said that you do not want to go back to the dealer, but this may be your only choice.  If a new pair did the same thing, you know that the problem is in your system.  Please let us know if you get a new pair and how they work.  Just use this thread.

I was wondering if anyone knows with certainty if the Blackberry Premium Multimedia Headset controls to play, pause, skip, and volume will work for the new PB coming out. I just bought the wired premium multimedia headset because I wanted good sound quality, and this set now is price. There is nothing in the instructions that I received which indicates what headphones is left and which is right! One side has a red ring on the cord near the earpiece, and the other side has the microphone on this subject. But no R L or any idea that I could find. • HP8600 Premium digital fax reception

I used the wizard to configure the receiving digital fax.  I have successfully received items.  They are sent the fax to a folder on my desktop.  However, it seems that the points are replaced when a new item comes from the same sender.  I want to keep the items and do not replace them.  Is there a setting somewhere to achieve?

    Thank you

    Hi DOCLCSW,

Yes, you are absolutely right, set the date and time is apart of the fax configuration process. I found this to validate this statement.

Step 4: set the fax date and time

Follow these steps to set or change the date and time.

    1. On the printer control panel, press the right arrow key ( ), press Setup ( ).

    2. Press the arrow down ( ), then tap preferences.

    3. Tap the Date and time: touch the top and low to set the month, day, and year and then tap done.

  • HP mini 1001TU. How to connect a full headset (micro + headphones)?

    Hello world

I wonder how can I use an external full headset (micro + headphones) on my hp mini 1001TU (for Skype and other applications...).

Indeed: there is only one outlet jack. It is used for the audio input or the output sound, depending on what plug us in it.

There are also 2 usb Sockets.

Is there no solution, no matter what specific listener?

    Thank you very much.

    Apakabar,

You can use a USB digital headset. There are many options such as...

Bluetooth can be an option as well.

  • Audio driver for DELL Latitude

    Hello
I just bought a used DELL Latitude (Intel Core, 4 GB Ram).
Everything works, but there is a strange thing that I've never seen before: it is not the mic input. On the right side of the laptop I see that the output (the rose) but not the mic (the green one) input.
So my question is: can I use any Usb Audio driver and save my music? My laptop will recognize that the pilot despite the existence is not the appropriate entry?
    Thank you very much!

Most of the newer Latitudes will not have audio input lines, out alone, but certainly there are USB microphones which should work very well.  Answer with the model of the laptop if you wish and I double check to see if the system must have an audio online.

    TB

I got to thinking about it more, and what I should have said initially, is that most latitudes will not have a separate audio input.  The Headphone Jack may be bidirectional however. So if you have an analog headset that has a single connection, the microphone should work correctly. Or you can use a digital headset or a microphone and connect via the USB port.  Yet once if you wish for me to check a second time please answer back with the model of your laptop.

  • Question about the use of the ABR program to activate a downloaded Windows 7

Dell Inspiron N7110.  Hard drive failure.   Recovery disks did not actually home.  Download Windows 7 Home Premium Digital River.  Everything works fine.  Tried to install Microsoft Office 2010 Microsoft also downloaded without success.  I guess this is because the operating system has not been activated.  I try to activate the operating system using the ABR program suggested by Philip Yip.  When I run the program activation_backup, I get the following message appears on the display of the command line:

«Found key: XXXXX-XXXXX etc.»  WARNING file already exist replace? »

I don't really know what I'm doing here, but the key is not the same product key on the COA on the underside of the computer.  Don't know if I should replace or if, who's going to evict me constantly of the activation procedure.  I read there is another method which is to call Microsoft.  Is this true?  any suggestions on how to proceed?  Thank you

You speak of my guides. Did you follow the instructions in this video? I added a few video reviews to explain in more detail the mechanism for ABR and solve the problem you mentioned.

Do you have the CAL 25-character product key during installation? If so just select Yes when you are prompted to replace the key that the key of your COA will be there where the prompt:

«Found key: XXXXX-XXXXX etc.»  WARNING file already exist replace? »

This will replace the key on your COA (which would need Microsoft activation phone) with the Dell SLP found in the installation/reinstallation DVD factory Dell and requires no activation of any phone or internet.

    cs_setInnerHtml ('video_c0140b2b - 5 d 13-4fcc-9973-8786aaad7298', ");

The key on the COA and the Dell SLP key are for Windows only, they do not affect Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office can be activated on a non-active Windows but theres little point activate Office until Windows is activated.

I assume that you have installed Microsoft Office with your product key and I have a problem to activate it? Or have you had problems to install it?

You may need to activate your copy of Microsoft by phone. You should explain to your issues in more detail with Microsoft Office. Where are you getting the key to the office, it is a map of MPI?

  • Can you identify this element of Vista installed at the factory... it is hardware or software?

I have a desktop HP Pavilion Media Center under Windows Vista Home Premium. I am trying to solve a problem with the TV Tuner. I tried everything I can find to solve the problem, but without success. I just need an answer to this...

On the bottom of my computer, I see a list of hardware and software that has been installed at the factory. I am interested is displayed as "GENUINE WINDOWS VISTA HOME Premium TUNER DIGITAL".

My question: is - this software or hardware? If it is a software, I can't find to uninstall and reinstall, which is what I would do. If it is hardware, what it look like? I would like to locate and replace it.

    Thank you

Back to the original question, to which I have the answer. "GENUINE WINDOWS VISTA HOME Premium DIGITAL TUNER" is Microsoft Vista which is loaded on the hard drive. It is NOT hardware and software it's my operating system.

There is no guessing what is in my PCI-E slot. It's My Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 1024 MB graphics card. There is no tuner embedded, or "video" as you call it.

To finalize my contributions to this post, I have fixed my original problem I came here looking for advice for in the first place. It's actually a corrupt Windows operating system file that runs my TV tuner, which caused all my problems. I reinstalled my Vista operating system to its original state, and now the TV tuner works fine.

Thank you for making at least an attempt to help out me. As you can see, over 6 billion people on the planet, only came forward... I appreciate it.

  • To activate the win7x32 I've downloaded

I original posted this in the technet forum but I think it should have been posted here because I don't have an answer.  I'm not a computer programmer, and I think that it is a forum appropriate for me.

I have a Dell Latitude c840 with XP and have maxed out with SSD, wifi-N, 2 GB, etc. It works quite well and I went to Dell and downloaded their win7x32 "reinstall the OS. This software is for owners of Dell with subsequent model systems in need of a replacement for DVD. Of course, this does not apply to me as the C840 is pre-vista, but I have burned DVD and install Dell win7x32.  Is installed on the partition (I did not upgrade) just fine and he found Center Update dell, chipset device drivers, etc., for the C840 without having to download from the Ms.

It's been 2 days and all drivers are working fine and the laptop seems to work perfectly.  I want to activate it.  Can I buy an edition Home premium win7x32... and simply enter the key?  I can do an "upgrade to ultimate' or 'pro '?  How can I go on the activation of it that I installed myself?

    Thanks for the research!

  • You use a bluetooth headset while it is also connected to the Digital AV adapter

I run on a treadmill at the gym who has a digital AV adapter for television in front of me.

Normally, I have to plug my Wired headphones to the plug supplied at the gym, who returned from the TV.

I was wondering if I can use my bluetooth headset (which easily pair it with my phone) to listen to the audio from my phone when it is connected to the Digital AV adapter and play the video on the TV?

This way, I would have the video on television, but the audio through my wireless headset.

NOTE: I previously noticed with my wired headset, that if I plugged the AV adapter first and then plugged my headphones directly into my phone, I could get the audio directly from the phone (as opposed from the plug that is connected to the TV). So I was hoping that this could also be done with the wireless headset.

    Thank you

I figured out how I could do.

When I attach the adapter Digital AV, video and audio will play through the TV.

With the Bluetooth headset connected to my phone, I can switch the "AirPlay" parameter from the control center from TV to my bluetooth headset.

This keeps the video playing on the TV (via adapter), but it sends the audio to my bluetooth headset. Perfect!

There are several things to try:

    ·      Remove and then reinstall the device:

    1. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and soundand then click Bluetooth devices.

2 Select the device that is not working, and then click Remove.

    3. click on Add, press the reset button on the unit (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), check the box my device is set up and ready to be found and then click Next.

    4. If the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.

    5. follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

    ·         Make sure that the device is on and that the batteries should be replaced.

    ·         Make sure that the Bluetooth adapter for your computer is attached and turned on, and that the device is in use and detectable. If you don't know how to turn on discoverability, read the instructions provided with the device or check the manufacturer's Web site.

    ·         The unit may be out of range of your computer, or too close. Try to move closer or a little further away from your computer.
