HP Probook 4530 s: uninstall DigitalPersona Pro

Try to upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10 but the installation stops and tells me to uninstall DigitalPersona Pro and I can't.

While upgrading to Windows 10, Windows 7, the update downloaded, then through its "Preparation for Installation" phase he stopped and told me that I had to uninstall HP ProtectTools Security Manager, because it was not compatible with Windows 10.  So I uninstalled HP ProtectTools Security Manager, but I think I did not do in the right order because "Prepare for Installation" said that I should now uninstall DigitalPersonna Pro, but when I searched I couldn't find it anywhere.  I finally decided that it had to have been a remnant of the file somewhere on your computer then to remedy, I reinstalled HP ProtectTools Security Manager in Windows 7 and then uninstalled again.  This time it disappeared completely because when I went to Windows Update and took the Windows 10 upgrade, he went through the installation without any problems and now I am the proud owner of Windows 10.  So far everthing work well and I am satisfied with Windows 10.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install NetFramework 3.5.

    It is integrated to W10.

You need to add it by going to the control panel > programs > turn Windows features on or off > check NetFramwork 3.5 box and it will install.

Restart, and then try to reinstall the hotkey driver.

Since it can be a lot of different cards installed in your model series wireless, I'll need to view the ID of the hardware for the network controller so I can know what model your laptop wireless card has.

Go to Device Manager and click on the device named network controller.

Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the window network controller.

Now you should see a drop-down list of property and it will be by default the device description.

On this list and select the second element (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window.

  • HP Probook 4530 s fingerprint reader does not.

    I just bought HP Probook 4530 s Ci5

    6 GB of RAM

    740 GB hard

    1 Gb Radeon graphics card

    Win7 64 bit operating system

I downloaded the driver and digital persona software from the HP Web site, my system Device Manager shows that the driver is correctly installed (called devices biometric, and under it Validity sensor, its listed version is VFS471). But on windows log on that is showing and then Player Detection is not detected. Same thing is happening in the software (digital persona). I tried different software in different websites.  Please indicate if you know something NEW. I said something new because I saw many people on many sites looking for this problem. But the problem is there.

When I run the validity sensor driver installation, it will install fine.

Then I run the last digital persona software it says on his system ("the system cannot check that the fingerprint readers is installed"). And that this is an option to SKIP this part. When I do, it completed the installation and restart the computer. After that the same problem "drive not detected" on windows to connect.

    Hello

Uninstall the driver and the software for reader fingerpint.

Download and install the driver prints digital validity here.
Download and install HP ProtectTools Security Manager here (inside this package, it is a software for fingerprint reader).

Restart the system and check the results.

Tried to remove them, but the last of them (HKLM) gave me an error. verified that the securiy but rights my account had enough. Taking the membership has not been around.

So I installed the registry Manager at the office, home edition and this program was able to remove the key. I restarted the machine and I was able to upgrade to Windows 10. Thanks splendor for your registrar tool.

I need my laptop to someone for a few days, so I need to make sure that my data is definitely missing.

Can someone please tell me which disk-disinfectant time and secure erase option will take to a passage?

    Hi all

I just went ahead and did it. So for other people like me looking for the answer to this question, I will share my experience.

When I clicked on the option of disk Sanitizer, he gave me several choices like, 1 pass, optimum, gutmen and custom. I chose optimum, it is has had warned only that data will be permanently erased, there was no estimate of the time, I had to do, I did. After 22-23 hours of waiting, he did. And the optimum had 6 cycles of option. He showed the result below.

Hello everyone, I have 32 bit HP ProBook 4530 s, recently I installed Windows 10 but not all access keys work (for the exodus, screen change light and etc..). Please link good Hot Key Driver for Windows 10. Thank you.

@G_Balakhadze: the problem is, there is no HP Win10 driver for your laptop.  The last HP has is Win8.1.

I linked the page drivers: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=5060881

But, as you can see, there is no keyboard driver, in itself.

You can try to use Windows updates to find the drivers from Microsoft deposits for your device: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139

If that does not do anything, you should read this another link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv6-6000-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/5048664/model/5077076/document/c04758308/

If Windows Update doesn't give new drivers, you can pursue alternative which are described in the linked Microsoft Windows Insider community thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/wiki/insider_wintp-insider_devices/how-to-install-and-update-drivers-in-windows-10/a97bbbd1-9973-4d66-9a5b-291300006293
