  Have you installed the driver WLan?
  The laptop seems to be equipped with the Atheros AR9285 WiFi card and in most cases the Fn + F8 key does not work because the Wlan driver is not installed or is not working properly.

  Recommend first of all remove the network card wireless from Device Manager, then restart the laptop. After restarting again install the new driver Atheros Wlan downloaded for this wlan card.

  You need to contact support with your Cisco router.  It looks like it might have been reset and the installation needs again.

  Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom. Maybe one of them will help you.

  (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

  (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

  If you want to switch between 3G and 2G to save battery: settings | Wireless controls. Mobile networks | Select network.

  If you want to disable the data without the use of airplane mode which also disables your vocation (which looks like), search the market for APNdroid. Great app that will do it. It is light. Just make sure that you have disabled (i.e. to have access to the Internet) before uninstalling. It does nothing with the wifi.

  The WRT54G is an active wireless router. If you select off in the wireless tab then the router will not any signal wireless broadcast.

  I have a regular ethernet connection that provides me with a network and the internet.
  I have also a tablet PC which I attach to my PC so I can use it as a controller. (Not that it is important, but it's for a DAW/Midi controller)

  My problem is that whenever I place my tablet, PC starts by ignoring my normal connection and taking the internet from my Tablet (even when it is not connected to the internet). As a result, my internet is de-energized once I tie it, if I'm not as under the wifi on my tablet.
