  Once removed the HDD data can't be recovered. However, you can use your favorite search engine to browse third-party data recovery software and use this software to recover data.

  Note:   software use of third parties, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  Your laptop should have no problem using the USB key provided with any mobile operator, you decide to choose - the choice of the carrier must be made taking into account the costs and the reception as some carriers will probably signals better than others where you live, so the decision will be personal to you.

  I would be grateful, if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue:

  • You get an error code on your system?
  • Your raid configured hard drive?

  I suggest you to check the external hard drive for error:

  1. start from the disc of Windows 7.

  2. click on System Recovery Options

  3. click on command prompt

  4. at the command prompt, enter the command CHKDSK E:/r where "E:" is the drive letter assigned to the Windows player. The option/r indicator is the equivalent of checking the two boxes in the analysis GUI version.

  5. wait until the process is complete. More the player and/or the more errors there, plus the process will take.

  Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

I installed successfully, Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode on the computer, and I copied the file to the host machine's .vmc. However, when I try to open the virtual computer, I get a message saying that the VPC was "impossible to write in one of its virtual hard disks.

  I've tried everything I can think of, but the only thing that works is to copy the .vmc and .vhd in the computer file. The problem is that I use the VPC for training online, and I have 16 of them. If I copy everything in the computer, I will use all 500 GB of disk space.

  There must be a way to access the VPC for external drives. If I can do it on the old XP computer, it should be possible to do it on the new Windows 7 computer.

  Unable to get the key separated from Toshiba, but only the Toshiba recovery disc.

  The disc contains the image. Image is a package that contains the (already activated) Windows system and all Toshiba drivers and tools.

  Just move them to your regular Windows Explorer or anything on a Mac. Then change your site definition to point to the new location.
