  I suggest you follow these steps on an external monitor as the primary display.

  a. drag from the right edge of the screen, tap settings, and then click change PC settings.
  (If you use a mouse, point to the corner bottom right of the screen, move the mouse to the top, click settings and then click Change PC settings).

  b. press or click on PCs and devices, and then tap or click on display.

  c. in the image preview, tap or click the monitor you want to use as the main screen for the select.

One thing that I know that I had problems with was that I have a subwoofer near the monitor and it caused the screen to change the color.
