  I have been connecting my 13 "mid-2011 MacBook Air to my smart Vizio TV with a bolt of lightning for a HDMI cable for a while now to stream online TV. It's very simple. (Forgive me if these descriptions are a bit off, but to the best of my memory). With connected to the laptop, once that the cable is connected, the TV/HDMI adapter as well as the choice for the choice of display Built In both appeared in the display preferences panel.   Info extra, when the cable is connected, the Macbook Air flickers a couple of times, the screen goes black and says "Data recovery" as he usually did, but said then "Signal"!

  First off I apologize for opening a new thread if this has been discussed before... As I am a noobie on this interesting platform... lol

  Now I just installed Windows for the desktop app and have Windows 8 MS (appstore) and also have Windows Phone 8 Mobile Skype mobile app...

  The TV Vizio app was open with my Skype account, and applications above all with a merged account are Microsoft and Skype...

  All my contacts appear fine and precise... I sent "contact request" to all my Facebook contacts and outlook.com.

  Open my Skype TV app and see 2 "Orange badges" for each new contact... which means that these 2 contacts have accepted my invitation...

  However, when I open the application of Windows desktop, Windows 8 app or application Mobile of WP, there nothing... no orange badge... in the recent section... This has been almost 48 hours...

  Is this a problem...?

  Please help because it's pretty frustrating... lol

  The question is the Skype widget on the TV seems to freeze in place... that I have reviewed this issue on Vizio website... so now I have to wait util contact invitations (orange badge) appear in one of the applications above...

  Well I contacted Support and they informed me that the Smart TV Skype widget is (of course) a different architecture then other Skype platforms mentioned above... (which I kind of knew)...

  Bottom line return "contact invitations" again and wait patiently... lol

  Now my Smart TV Skype widget is showing 'orange badges' on my contacts... lol

• 4 k upgrade for early 2009 double quad?

  I have a tower in early 2008 with a 914361344 MB AMD Radeon HD 7950 card that can display 4 k.  I have shooting and HD video editing, but I want to start working with 4 k.  I use a Vizio HDTV with a VGA or HDMI input for HD display.  I am looking for a 4 k monitor that displays the output of my card AMD, which has a DVI and two small mini-DVI outputs to display 3 signals at the same time.  When the computer starts, it will default to the DVI signal.

  I've been shopping on Ebay and saw a monitor Dell 28 '' with a Display Port entry.  I'm not familiar with this port.  Should I be looking for a port DVI display for best film adapter, or should I get a monitor with a DVI 4 k?

  Should I consider getting a screen with a refresh rate of 60 hz to 4 k?  Any other consideration?  I know that my Tower is long in the tooth that cost a big consideration.  I'm not going to upgrade to a new computer with Thunderbolt.  Thank you.

  Nope, just to get a screen with an entry-no need to worry about DVI or VGA DisplayPort that I don't think that support 4 k, but I could be wrong.

  HDMI can support 4 k Maybe, but I'm not 100% sure on that.  Just go with a DisplayPort monitor and you should be fine.  On the single conisderation for Dell, is to wake up the monitor can be problematic.  BTW, I've never heard of a mini-DVI port, but yet again, I could be wrong.

  If it were up to me I would buy a screen of 4 k in the blink of an eye--as big as I could get, however, it is not mine.  I thought that 4 k has been at a refresh rate 30 hz, but I'm probably wrong about that, too.  The only thing stopping me now is a lack of money.   Microsoft is unable to help with this, unfortunately.  Wireless router should have put a password.  If she did not, you should contact the company which built (or take it back to the store that you bought a replacement).

  I recently bought a router Linksys AC3200 and E55 - C1 Vizio TV. The remote for my tv button and the power of Vizio Vizio TV have been sporadic in their functionality. They recommended to me to stop my router and see if the power button and the remote control is working properly. I did and everything works normally. I was told that file sharing and network share on my router will cause this problem and for contact me Linksys to resolve. Does anyone know exactly what the router setting is the cause? Is not dictated by your operating system and not your router file sharing?

  Are you trying to install XP drivers for win 7?  I would check with Vizio to see if they have win 7 drivers.  If this isn't the case, you may be able to use the XP drivers, IF you install them in compatibility mode.

  To install in compatibility mode do the following:

  Click with the right button on the installer > properties > compatibility > choose OS
