  I have a HP Touchsmart 520-1070 with an AMD RADEON HD 6450 A graphics card. I'm not too good with technical stuff, and when I bought this PC I was told that it would be perfectly fine any game. However, when I tried to download some of the popular games and play them on my PC as it is today, with the THIEF, what I discovered was that this computer was great, except that a single card video.   What I'm saying is, you can't buy a standard PCI Express x 16 video card, for example, the R9 from AMD.  It should be a card MXM Mobile, as stated in my previous post.  I wasn't able to find a map that shows the specifications shown, however.  They are not readily available.  To be honest, I'm not sure that an upgrade would allow you to play the games you mentioned.

  I recently bought and installed a new hard drive on my Touchsmart 520-1020 after that started to spoil. Given that I don't return to the top of my media and the model was old enough, I had to buy a whole new pack of system directly from HP recovery disks. I tried to install them several times, but each time that the process of recovery achieved 39% the disk #2 (in 4 total) that breaks down just, and a message appears saying that there is an error 0xe0ef000e. I thought it might be produced because the hard drive is not compatible, but the hard drive is reading for diagnostic tests, so is not the problem. HP support suggested that the problem could be with the discs, but I bought it on the official HP website to make them new. Please let me know what you think the problem might be.   is integrated on the motherboard. Also check with Nvidia Support, their drivers and documentation online

  If you are determined to have a 3D compatible computer system, you will need to either build your own or buy a system that is capable of 3D.

  Check with the manufacturer of the card. I suspect that it is a map of UEFI VBIOS, not inherited.  Your system does not support inheritance. An explanation of @old_geekster can be found here.

  Memory must be inexpensive as well and can also help a lot. The thing is, if you think you can buy a new computer from an OEM, like HP, for about the same price... So, I leave to you to determine if XP is more reliable than vista or not. But more new games will be compatible with Vista... (or Win7).

  My h8-1214 starts to get a little old. The graphics card died a few months back and a friend gave me an old (even lower than the original spec) just to make it back to work again. Im hoping that someone could help me with, it is if the h8-1214 can use a Radeon R7 250 X? If there is a problem of compatibility UEFI is there something that I can update to make it work as the driver of the motherboard or even a bios update? If it cannot be implemented should I consider getting an old low spec graphics card or should I think about a motherboard more up-to-date, which is consistent with recent material? If this is the best option is it any particular reccomendation for most recent advice that I can put the FX-6100 in?

  All Sapphire R7 250 graphics cards that are listed on the Sapphire worksheet indicates that all of these cards are not active UEFI.  You need a power of 500 watts.

  If you own a H8-1214, WIN 7, the BIOS rev max is 7.16 (related to the operating system).  This means that the MSI GTX 750Ti is an excellent choice because it has a legacy and UEFI micro-switch.  You need the legacy support. Although the GTX 750Ti is rated for a minimum PSU 300W, the HD7450 is 25W and the GTX 750Ti 60W.  NewEgg shows a 400W PSU.

  There is no way to upgrade the graphic subsystem on your machine. The Intel HD 520 is integrated into the chipset package. Although some laptops have discrete graphics chips, almost none don't have been socketed. They are welded in place.
