I'm trying to implement my HP2543 All In One printer on a laptop. How to find the code? Laptop has no disk drive.

    Hello

The valid IP address would start by 192.168 if the IP address starts with 169 or something else is not a valid IP address.

If the address of your router is 192.168.1.1 then the IP of the printer should be something like 192.168.X.X

    OR

If your laptop is connected to multiple networks, this problem may occur. Please connect your laptop to only if the wireless network to which the printer is connected, try anything again.

How to use Airprint on Apple wireless

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02623193

For those who discover the perspective of the web, network, and cloud base impression, make sure that you understand the difference between HP ePrint and Apple Airprint.

What is the difference between Apple AirPrint and HP ePrint?

HP ePrint is a free service of HP, which allows you to print from mobile devices on your Internet Web-connected printer. It's as simple as electronic mail to the e-mail address assigned to your compatible printer ePrint or multifunction devices.

Apple's AirPrint uses your wireless LAN to print directly from your iPhone, iPad or iPod to local printer HP ePrint-enabled.

    Any questions, just ask!

Hope this helps anyone with questions about these services!

Can you help me set up eprint on my HP7310 so my ipad will display on my wireless network?

    According to this document:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02814760

The OfficeJet 7310 is supported using the application Mobile HP's ePrint and ePrint home & Biz app HP. Two of these applications have been replaced by the HP ePrint app, which is available on the Apple App Store.

This should allow printing from your iPad via a wireless LAN.

  • Basic for ePrint AirPrint troubleshooting

Some of our users have temporary problems with AirPrint, ePrint and using our Web Services provided by the ePrintCenter website. There may be a number of issues which can lead to these problems, but I am giong to do my best work to try to help understand them.

With AirPrint, you deal with just your local network. If you are having problems with AirPrint, here are the first steps you can take to correct the problem.

    1. make sure that both devices are on the same network and share the same SSID. Sometimes a single device will be connected to a network of "guest", and this will prevent the cross-communication.

    2. turn off Bluetooth. Rarely, but I've seen that happen before, Bluetooth will interfere with communication with our printers. This is because AirPrint was written to use the same Bluetooth channel. And as having two stations radio which are very close to each other, you will sometimes encounter interferences that prevent the signal.

3 reconnect the printer to the wireless network - simply run the Wireless Setup Wizard solves many connection problems

4 set your printer a static IP and DNS from Google (at the bottom of the screen of the configuration should read the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Here is a video on how to set that-

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=llYNMNKJMX4

    5. after that, if you are still having the same problem I have run a network reset, so that all devices reconnect to your network and servers correctly. Firstly turn off your machine (and other devices on the network that you want to communicate with the printer [e.g. phones/tablets]), then unplug your router, after 10 seconds reconnect the router. Once the lights are all back to normal power (flashing, stable or not) the machine followed by your other devices and test print again.

With ePrint and our printer enabled applications, sometimes it will be not able to be used temporarily. Like most networks, the cloud of HP traverse time periodic when the servers are down for maintenance, maintenance and update. These could cause temporary outages in some of connected applications as well as some of the services provided by HP.

However, if you encounter problems in the long term with ePrint printer applications, there are a few things you can do to correct the problem

1 reconnect the printer to the wireless network - simply run the Wireless Setup Wizard solves many connection problems

    2. give your printer a static IP and DNS from Google (at the bottom of the screen of the configuration should read the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Here is a video on how to set that-

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=llYNMNKJMX4

    3. after that, if you are still having the same problem I have run a network reset, so that all devices reconnect to your network and servers correctly. First turn your machine off, then unplug your router, after 10 seconds reconnect the router. Once the lights are all back to normal power (flashing, stable or not) the machine on and test the connection to the server.

    4. Finally, if these measures fail, you can disable and re-enable web services. This will make you lose your custom printer e-mail address and you will remove the information from your printer to ePrintCenter origin and reconfigure the applications and services you want. However, if necessary, you can contact our free support number below (for US and Canadian customers)

  • Set up ePrint, so it generates no boxes of error at startup of Windows 7

I'm a Firefox user, which does not support HP ePrint.  Personally, I have no need for features ePrints, unless it is needed for Airprint, that's why I bought my HP Envy.  I need to Airprint; Eprint is useless.

When I boot Windows 7, I get always two boxes, that slow start: the one who says that Eprint is unavailable, which must be clicked, which is followed by another by inviting me to log on Eprint. Please also click on disable.

Ideally, I leave the program intact S/W, but to end a process of Windows 7 and set it to manual.  Is there a process that terminated would eliminate these boxes two error?

If this is not the case, what programs should be uninstalled via the control panel to do the same thing?  The removal (s) affect AirPrint at all?

    Thank you.

You have the ePrint drivers installed on your computer? If yes I would like to uninstall the drivers. If it's not I uninstall the printer software and then install with drivers updated from the Hp website. If during the installation of the printer, you get to a point of installation ePrint just jump. ePrint is not required in order to use Airprint. AirPrint will work the same.

  • Problem with alert printer after you set up eprint

I've just set up my HP eprint/connected to my printer HP Officejet 6700 account. I went through all the instructions and generated a code for me to record my printer. My printer came but I noticed that I have 2 alerts next to the printer which has been recorded. The alerts are:

    • Online
    • Problem with printer

When I click on the message of the latter I get the following message

    • An unspecified problem was reported. Please check your printer.

See the front panel of the printer for more information on the resolution of this condition

I checked the printer, but it is not showing problems. I have however deleted the re-recorded new printer and web service. This time he seems to have solved the problem, but when I went back to the account later in the day the alert reappears.

Could anyone help in this case.

    Hi BillyBoy59,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are getting a message "Problem with the printer" in connected HP.

Connected HP sometimes gives a false report that there is a problem not specified with the printer. HP has been able to reproduce the error.  If there was a genuine mistake, the message would point to the problem (low on ink, paper, etc). Unspecified error message does not prevent you to use ePrint.

  • Can I use both ePrint AirPrint on a HP4630 at the same time

I have a printer HP4630 I have to use with an iPad and a laptop Mac (PowerPC with OS X 10.5.8) and want to know if I can run AirPrint for iPad and ePrint for Mac laptop at the sametime.

I understand that Mac laptop cannot connect to the printer on the network because it is not capable of running OS X 10.6 and higher.

    I appreciate your help.

    Hello Chesher5,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

Regarding the investigation on ePrint and AirPrint for Officejet 4630, yes they can be both used at the same time. They are completely separated from the printed media. Although that require a network connection.

If you have any problems affecting the top or help, please let me know and I will do my best to help.

    See you soon,.

  • setting up eprint on Tablet and driod

I just create an account with the hp connected (using my normal email account) and set an account with snapfish (also using my normal e-mail account) and follow the 2 accounts that was necessary.   While HP plugged in I had attributed the 8500 printer and email account that had heprint.com after the @sign.     I made sure my Hp officejet 8500 is connected to the internet, as I printed some may ask code, and it seems that my printer is connected to the connected hp.     After you install the HPeprint application on my driod, I had to turn it on and it took a confirmation code which was sent through my email normat account.  After that I entered the confiramtion code it will not print because it is using my normal email address to talk to the printer.   I tried to reactivate the application using the printers email (@heprint.com) but I know how to read the e-mail for the confirmation code.   I know I'm a little stupid but where can you read emails sent to the address @heprint.com or e-mail account, you are supposed to use to get this app to work.    I also have a Tablet I want to connect to the printer.

    Thanks adavance for any help

    Hi hha1120,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I appreciate that you try to set up the mobile application of HP ePrint on your Android Smartphone.

You were correct in the activation of the application with your normal email.  The next step in the implementation of the application, after the outbreak of the app is to add your printer to the app using its @hpeprint.com email.   I've included a screenshot of where to add the printer within the app.  The screenshot shows the Apple version of the application, but the location and the steps are the same.

Sorry I forgot to add the screenshot:

Once you have your phone set up the steps are the same for your Android tablet.  You need activate the application on the Tablet, which will require a second confirmation code.  You are able to use your normal e-mail for the confirmation code of Tablet.

For your reference, I have included the documents of the FAQ for the mobile application of HP ePrint and HP all-in - One Printer app remotely (this app will allow you to scan to your Android devices).

  • Need help to set up ePrint on LaserJet M1212nf MFP

I went on the site support and tried several times to go through the steps. Of course, I'm not tech savy. I am connected to the printer through my new router and I am on the network. When I put the IP address of the printer in the address bar the site opens but I don't see any tab that says 'enable the web services '. What the tab or the symbol looks like?

I also went to the page update of firmware and software, but there are too many choices that I don't understand. My current firmware datecode is 20100921. My current version of the software driver is 20100428. Would you kindly provide me with a direct link with the patch appropriate for my printer. I bought this new printer about 3 months ago.

I am already registered on the correct site for ePrint, but I need to get a generated e-mail address in order to connect it to my printer to use ePrint.

I want to use my iPhone 5 to print occasionally using the email address. Are there special instructions once I get the set up e-mail address?

    Hello

Follow the link in my post to preview and click on the download button and follow the steps in the tool to update firmware, this tool indeed for your operating system.

  • I have an Ipad. It has been implemented for eprint airprint, but lately, it does not work.

    HP Officejet 6500 a Plus

    Mac Lion operating system

Printer not detected from my Ipad

    None

    Hello fjnatwick,

If I understand you correctly, you could use airprint in the past to print from your iPad. If you cannot see your printer appears when I try to print, try the following steps:

    1. If the printer is still lit, disconnect the power cord from the printer, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Once connected to the printer should automatically turn on.

    2. turn off iPad completely by pressing the power button on the upper right of the iPad until you see "Slide to power off" and drag your finger on the bar to completely turn off the iPad. Now re - turn on the iPad.

Try your print job again and see if you are able to locate the printer on your iPad.

If you are able to locate the printer but nothing happens when you press the "print" key, then try the following steps:

1 clear print jobs from the print queue on your iPad by tapping twice on the home button. "PrintCenter" icon should appear at the bottom of the screen. Select PrintCenter and delete print jobs by sliding your finger across each task and select "Delete" until they are all gone.

Now, try again to see if it is able to correctly print your print job.

If you still have problems, questions, do not hesitate to reply to this message and I'll try to find an answer for you.

    Hello

Please follow the instructions at this link on how to set up your apple with e-Print devices.

When you work through the installation program, at the end, you should be able to assign an e-mail address to your printer and when you e-mail files to this e-mail address, your printer should print files.

Please come back on the forum if you have problems with the installation.
