The FONT SIZE in Hotmail Live is too small. Please indicate how to increase the font size
Thank you.
This isn't. You have ra reolution of 800 x 600 or less?
Try this
In Internet Explorer don't see--> text size--> medium/large.
or increase your zoom level (IE 7/8)
or try a combo of the two

Resolution of the screen - police too small when the value of resolution 1920 x 1080
original title: screen resolution
Got a new laptop which has 1920 x 1080 screen resolution that I paid extra for. However, when I keep this setting on any web site text size/font is so small that it is very difficult to read. I tried all the plugins to font size, but that did not help. The only way I can get readable (for me) the text is to reduce the 1360 x 768 resolution which totally defeats the purpose of getting a screen high resolution. Is there another way other than the setting screen resolution, such that it can be Pascal outside and still provide a readable text? I don't want bugs like the magnifying glass or similar devices.
When you increase the resolution of the screen, things are smaller. Basically, the only way to get great results even at higher resolutions is to have a bigger screen. Magnifying glass, zooms and more police sizes allow you just to settle on the edges of this kit, you must make the best compromise.
I use 1920 x 1080 and I have my text size the value 125% (and IE9 = 200% zoom), but I have a 24 "display which is much bigger than a computer screen.

in all programs too small print. How can I make it bigger?
For some reason, the printing letter got so small, that I can hardly read it. How can I make the biggest letters?
Hi Mary,
I understand that the font size is too small, when you print from the printer connected to Windows 8.
I'll be happy to help you, if you could provide the information needed to help you.
(1) what is the brand and model of the printer?
(2) is specific to a particular program?
(3) remember you to make changes prior to this problem?
I suggest to check printing preferences and check if you can resize the fonts to print.
I also suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if that helps.
(a) open the document that contains the text you want to print in large format.
(b) click and drag the mouse over the part of the text you want to enlarge. To increase the size of all the text, click on 'Edit' and then 'Select all' from the menu.
(c) click the dropdown next to the name of the font. There will be a number inside, which is the current size of your font.
(d) select a number greater than one already posted to increase the font size.
Hope that the information helps, if you have additional questions or for any question related to Windows, do not hesitate to post. We will be happy to help you.

PL/SQL: digital or value error: string buffer too small characters - LOV?
Environment:
APEX 3.1.1.00.09 under AIX 5.3 10.2.0.2 in
Problem sample on apex.oracle.com:
Workspace: GALWAY
ID: GWICKE
Password: GWICKE
Application ID: 43172 (BUILDERPL) NOTE: there are three 3 applications with the same name, but this one is currently broken
I get the dreaded "" ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character string buffer too small "when you try to create a new line."
To reproduce the error:
1 run page 3
2 - Select any agency
3 - Click on the button "create a new contract.
4 - Select the start and end dates in the DATE picker
5 - Click on the button "Add contract".
If the line is added successfully if please go to Indianapolis and run the app for me since you obviously have the 'touch '! ;-) >
But seriously folks,
I've read many threads about this error and for the most part, they seem to point to large LOV. I have three 3 LOV on the page but only a 1 is dynamic and display and back elements are the same, a description in this case. There are 400 lines in the LOV table and the description is defined as VARCHAR2 (75), so we're not talking a huge amount of data.
To further complicate the issue, this application was working just a couple of days. What changes I've made since a few days, you might ask?
The only thing that comes to mind is I did go through the definitions of element and change the values of maximum size equal to the size of the columns in the target table, using a value of 22 for the NUMBER of columns.
Since then I went back and changed at a much greater value than their corresponding column definitions, but nothing helped.
Another interesting fact is that if an existing contract is selected on the page (Page 3 in my case) by selecting an agency that produces values in the second select list (selection of contract) and then clicking on "change this contract." After you change any value or fill in one of the missing values, click "Apply Changes" and he should have success.
The new contract page and the page of modification of the contract are the same (Page 2) just with different buttons.
Thanks a lot for any assistance. Indeed, it is greatly appreciated.
-gary
PS I also tried to change the LOV both given a popup and a standard text box I typed in, both received the same message.Gary - I deleted then recreated your DML process and it seems to have solved the problem. Export page reveals something odd in the process definition:
declare p varchar2(32767) := null; l_clob clob; l_length number := 1;beginp:=p||'F|#OWNER#:BUILDERPL_CONTRACT:P2_CONTRACT_SEQ:CONTRACT_SEQ|I'; wwv_flow_api.create_page_process( ...
That the assignment statement must not have ' F | "as the first two characters. There must be a bug in one of the wizards who created the process. Have you used a wizard to create the page?

problem string buffer too small
Hey, guys:
I have a question may be stupid, I received the error "ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character string buffer too small" when I run a query. If I Uncomment ' and rox.status ='Active "" ' State, I do not have the error. I guess it's related to specific lines. I checked online, it looks like the length of a certain variable varchar2 is not enough, but I can't find cause. I also note that there could be an error on v_level in the function, I use number instead of type varchar2. but after I changed the type of v_level, the error is still there. I would be cautious, because this is a legacy system. Could someone help me on this problem?
I have a query like this:
I get the error message like:select * from registration_offender_xref rox where SOR_OFFENDER_DETAILS.get_offender_level(rox.offender_ID)=3 --and rox.status='Active' and rox.end_registration_date is not null;

Published by: lxiscas on May 23, 2013 09:01I do not pretend that it is your problem, but
select status into v_status, from registration_offender_xref
But you said
v_status varchar2(10);
Much better to say things like that
v_status registration_offender_xref.status%type;
In this way, you know that your variable is declared with a good length, if the length of the column never changes, your code won't kaboom.
See you soon,.

ORA-06502: PL / SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
Dear friends,
We have a package customized for FTP PLSQL.
I get ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character string buffer too small when the FTP service running.
The FTP function call the HOST function that is in fact to launch the above mentioned error.
Here is the code for FTP and HOST functions.FUNCTION HOST(text_in IN VARCHAR2, result_out IN OUT VARCHAR2) RETURN BOOLEAN IS ret boolean; drun boolean; hid number; BEGIN dbms_output.put_line('host1 begin'); ret := HOST(text_in,result_out,hid,drun,1); if not drun then dbms_output.put_line('not derun'); return false; end if; dbms_output.put_line('after if'); return ret; END HOST;

1 FTP function called from PL/SQL block
2 inside of the FTP service, the Sub statement calls the HOST function
3. This HOST function in turn calls another function of overloaded HOST (code shown above).log_dir varchar2(100) := get_env('$APPLCSF')||'/log';
4. in the function overloaded with the HOST, the following statements are executed successfully, and FALSE is returned by the function
5. the remaining code in the FTP service is running and the HOST function is called again using the Sub statementdbms_output.put_line('m=1'); result_out := 'ERROR : GLCC0005 presumed not running'; dbms_output.put_line('result_out - '||result_out);
6.again, this HOST function in turn calls another function of overloaded HOST (code posted above).res := HOST('echo $$',proc_id);
7. this time, in the function overloaded host, ORA-06502 is thrown when the following statement is executed and the execution stops here that this exception is unhandled.
This statement is very successfully in the previous call to the function of HOST (step 4), but it fails now.result_out := 'ERROR : GLCC0005 presumed not running';
Any idea on why this error occurs in this scenario? Because the issue of memory?

HOST (1) calls the function of MODERATOR (2) with his second parameter as result_out
The first time you call the function of host (1) in the function get_env you use
... out varchar2(256); BEGIN res := HOST('echo '||env,out); ...
out is big enough varchar2 (256)
The second time you call (1) HOST of the FTP function as:
... ftp_main varchar2(2000); proc_id varchar2(10); fderr varchar2(100); ... ... res := HOST('echo $$',proc_id); dbms_output.put_line('proc_id - '||proc_id); ...
Here, use you proc_id which is varchar2 (10)
And it's not big enough!
Kind regards

cancel the print job on HP Officejet Pro 8610
How to cancel a print job on my HP Officejet Pro 8610... There is no X or cancel on the LCD screen. How to cancel the task once it starts?
PC: Asus desktop computer; Windows 7; 64-bit process.
Hi Bestbill,
There are 2 ways to cancel the printjob.
(1) you can open the printer spooler (located at the bottom right of your system) and cancel the job from there.
(2) you can cancel via the control panel.
- If you have opinions, when you send a printjob down to the printer, the upper part of the control panel will display a message "X now print...". »
- Press to this message 'X now... print '. "and it will take you to the screen with only this message and an 'X' at the bottom left.
- Click on the 'X' in the lower left, and the printjob is cancelled.
I hope this works.

Lets say I start a print job, but realize that it's more time that I waited and I just want to cancel the print job. How can I put an easy to get to the icon, link job etc command it is quickly available to cancel the job, rather than the 3-step process to go to printer, right click then click on Cancel. My Canon printer had an easy to get to the screen displayed while it was printing showing the progression of printing on a bar graph % of the complete work, and then a job box just cancellation there on the Info Panel. I REALLY miss this function on this HP 7520. I might have reconsidered the purchase if I knew that I had to jump through hoops to make a cancellation. I know that HP wants you to use more ink, but to cancel printing so "indisponibilitee" is the s pot! And or delete a print job
Hi @TJBarand welcome to the Forums of HP!
I see that you're looking how to cancel your print jobs. I would like to help.
When printing on the front panel of your printer, you will see a large red 'X '. This will allow you to cancel all print jobs by pressing X.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I can't cancel the list of documents in the print queue
Hi RuthSmith57,
(1) do you get an error message when you try to cancel the list of documents in the print queue of the printer?
(2) what is the number of brand and model of your printer?
(3) how long have you had this problem?
Method 1: First, restart the computer and check the print queue.
After the computer restarts, double-click the printer icon in the lower right corner (notification area) of the computer. Now, check the print queue.
Method 2: Run the Fixit available in the link below:
