• How can I config multiple basic HTTP authentication in a casting of BPEL

  I read Edwin's blog on SOA suite with HTTP Basic authentication. http://Biemond.blogspot.com/2010/08/HTTP-Basic-authentication-with-SOA.html. I tested as it said and it worked. However, I wonder, if there are several services that need different basic HTTP authentication, how can I do that? I checked the security token, it is not something as a reference or a name that I can put the match in the configuration of the OM credentials. Thank you.

• HTTP authentication support - is STILL Basic Plugin

  I am trying to make a connection IS with a host in the inventory of the VCO plugin. The connection request returns an authorization token in the response header that is then defined as a header in all subsequent REST calls in VCO. I am able to make the connection and authorization token in the response header in the browser based REST clients. However if I do the same connect REST in VCO call apparently remove the response header as response.getHesders () for the connect call will return null.

  It seems that the authorization in the HTTP-REST plugin is handled differently, I would like to know how to make a connection with the plugin HTTP and REST. The REST API that I'm trying to interface with has a connection like this operation.

  How can I access this authentication token in VCO? Is - this accassable through the REST-host?

  I also tried to set up the host in the HTTP-REST plugin with basic authentication and a session mode of "by the Session of the user", but I'm not sure how to pass the user name and password to the host when using this type of session.

  I found an example to access the headers in the link below, and it seems that you must place the answer in a variable to access the content of the response. Seems a little odd to me, but it works.

  Forms and reports are integrated with OAM using OSSO. and webgate Oracle 11 g allows you to integrate the APEX with OAM.

  two issues here:

  Jeff,

  First rule is to never trust your seller on technical issues;). Your dealer is wrong. You can indeed change the moment where a user is re - you are prompted to enter their credentials. There are basically 2 parameters, you need to know about the pix regarding delays of authentication:

  (1) the inactivity timer. It's just like that. It expires an authenticated session via the PIX to hit X amount of time without all the traffic. The default timer on the PIX for this setting is 0, which means that we are no period of inactivity by the user (by default) monitor.

  (2) the absoltue timer. Again, is to noise. This timer starts as soon as the user is authenticated and works continuously. When the time is reached, the user is obliged to to re-authenticate when they try to start a new connection (for example, by clicking a link in a web page). The default setting for the absolute timer is 5 minutes.

  We recommend that you do not keep an absolute clock set for security purposes, but for ease of access, you can change these settings. Something like that would not be a 'off the wall' setting:

  timeout uauth 01:00 absolute uauth 0: idle from 10:00

  These settings will force the user to to re-authenticate every hour (absolute) or every 10 minutes after the connection becomes inactive.

  And finally, no idea about #2 above. It happens with all users. Anyone who has tried to Netscape to see if it is a question only IE?

  It must be something with the fact that on http or ANC, it connects to the router at level 15, but I have played with all sorts of orders of different authorization and cannot operate.

  What you want to do for authentication if the RADIUS server is down? For telnet and console access you can use the line as a backup method because it is possible to configure a password for the line on the console and vty ports. Which type of backup method you want for HTTP? The one that seems most logical to me would be to a local authentication in order to cover the situation where the server is down.

  To use local authentication, you must do the following:

  -create a definition of the local user (maybe more if you need extended security).

  -specify a special method for authentication of the aaa.

  -specify that http, using the special method.

  The configuration might look like this:

  password user tech1 tech1

  AAA authentication login http_auth group Ganymede + local

  IP http authentication aaa - authentication of the connection http_auth

  Or you can decide to use the secret to activate (or password that is configured in office). The config might look like this:

  ESW540 - 8 p on a network with the default settings. The goal is to connect through proxy http OnPlus http (kubrick) devices management I / F and change the settings.

  By the compatibility of the devices for ESW540, I define http (port 80) as a method of connection and allow to "set the headers.

  Using a PC connected locally, I checked that I can establish http connection directly (without proxy OnPlus) using IE, firefox, and Safari browsers on multiple platforms (2 win 7 PCs (FF, IE, Safari), 1 iPhone4. () Safari).  In all cases, I'm able to establish the http connection to the ESW540 connection - 8 p and perform operations remotely on the device http user interface through the user interface of the browsers.

  However, when I try the same when connected remotely through OnPlus, I get different behaviors for success/failure in the browser I use.

  When I use Firefox or IE, as soon as I click on the 'Connect' button on the modal system, a browser window is launched as planned.

  For IE (IE7) on both Win7 computers, 10 seconds after the launch of the window, the device UI presents its login screen. I provide credentials for the connection. Soon after, a partial rendering of the page main 'status' for the device is presented on the user interface of the browser. I can see the CSS styles of painting, but I see no text, areno visible URL and the simulation planned device indicator is not visible. Clearly, the appliance http server enabled connection. Shortly after the connection information has been presented, a dialog box appears that States "disconnected from server...". "xlx...

  For firefox (FF 6.02) on the two WIn7PCs, I get the same behavior with one exception - the connection process does not have the point of view of the page for the device UI http authentication.

  Note, I am able to navigate, to connect to and manipulate all the pages of the user interface http to a cable modem TWC ODM built... using any platform and one of the three browsers.

  Also of note, I have configured the ESW540 - 8 p to the backup configuration file automatically and every night. This automatic access (using the credentials provided in the "References" of the modal device tab) works very well... even if she does not resemble his support in the list of devices.

  I suspect that it is a FF/IE browser config issues with specific pains of Kubrick (Java?). But I'm just guessing. Fortunately, I have Safari on all three devices, so this isn't a big deal. Ideallly, however, I prefer using FF - manage my browser of choice for all the other things-webby.

  The ESW540 was a little 'fun' with cross-launch. We expect a potential MR later this fall that may be able to answer some of these questions. In the meantime, I'll get the documentation updated to reflect the following details on ESW540 support.

  1. the port 80 and "Headers of difficulty" are correct configuration items to set for cross-launch.

  2. the Safari browser works fine, but you have to ignore the pop-up "lost connection". Everything works perfectly.

  3 Firefox has a particular problem. When you connect first with firefox, you'll get an error. It is different with different versions of firefox. If you copy the URL and open a new window, and then paste the URL into the new window, things will work (again, with the message lost connection to ignore).

  4 IE tends to work perfectly, without any problem. I have only tested with IE8. There could be a problem with IE7.

  These problems come from the fact that OnPlus was not there when the ESW has been developed and switches don't usually do the test to be able to withstand to be connected through a firewall. New SMB devices are tested with OnPlus in order to avoid this type of problem in the future.

  Specifically, there is a behavior of Web Management page in the ESW trys to be compatible with all web browsers and it breaks down when you launch into another page, or by an indirect method.

• Problems with HTTP and BrowserField response Code

• Web authentication with RSA SecureID on a Cisco Switch

  I recently searched by linking in our Cisco Switch of GB 2960 S with RSA SecureID via Radius

  I already managed to tie in to ssh access

  but I failed to make it work for http / web access to the switch

  I think it's because we use 'single use' maximum security with RSA SecureID tokens

  the web interface tries to authenticate several times against the Radius server RSA SecureID part

  (agreement on the first authentication, but every time after that he's going to want a different code in token)

  I was wondering if anyone knew a way around this? (if there is a way to get the right switch authenticate once instead of multiple times the radius server)

  I know for sure the above configuration works when you use GANYMEDE + instead of RADIUS in order to avoid multiple guests due to the authentication of JAVA Applets to access the GUI of the IOS. I him have not tested against RSA acting as an authentication server.

  NOTE: As "aaa authorization exec" is configured the RSA should send Service-Type attribute with administrative value for it to work as expected.
