  But your brief statement is technically incorrect. You do not make the connection using the HttpConnection. You create the connection object by using the connector class that returns HttpConnection or HttpsConnections according to the Protocol of the URL provided.

  Since HttpsConnection extends HttpConnection treatment then the connection object, as it is just a HttpConnection is fine, unless you call specifically a method is only part of the HttpsConnection interface, such as getSecurityInfo(). In this case then just cast a HttpsConnection as long as the URL is an https address.

  Not tried OF Vodafone, but I guess it's similar to Vodafone UK and the results you see do not match what I see here in the United Kingdom.

  I assume you've tried the apn = blackberry .net Simulator TCP parameters.  I would not have expected it works.

  The real APN setting for Vodafone that I found are

  APN: web.vodafone.de
  user: vodafone
  Password: vodafone

  I don't think you have actually tried, so I don't think you have actually tested direct TCP.  The settings that you tried seem to be WAP 1.0 settings.

  WAP 2 UID seems valid, so this criterion should have worked.

  However I suspect that there is a problem with the URL you are trying to use.  Remember that the URL that you use during the test on a device, must be accessible to the Internet.  Is this the case?

  Finally with regard to the BIS-B, it will be used by default, and you must become a member of the alliance to use.

  My apologies if this has been posted and answered before. I'm new to the Blackberry development.

  I'm developing an application initially for the 8300 Series. Timing of the launch, my application tries to open an http connection to check the updates of the application.

  I have no problem, the application running on the Simulator, and if I add '; deviceside = true"to the url, the app works on an ATT device. However, when I run the application on a device, Verizon or T-Mobile, I get a network error, whether or not '; deviceside = true' is included.

  I tried messing around with the TCP APN settings on the device from T-mobile with no luck. The Verizon device does not appear to have that option at all. Browsers seem to work so there is a valid data connection.

  Anyone know what the problem is or what I could do wrong?

  My wife works from home to connect to a vpn over an https connection and then connect to another piece of software based on the web through an https connection.

  It worked well until Christmas 2013 when she bought a new laptop with windows 8, upgrading to a connection high speed fiber (with the same Internet service provider) and had a new router.

  Since then it can connect to the vpn but once connected to everything that she's trying to connect an https connection systematically disconnected every 2 minutes.

  The vpn is connected, and also other programs outside the vpn as Skype and lync stay connected.

  His employer has built a new version of the web-based software as there was a problem with this and windows 8, but this has not solved the problem although it resolved all the problems of connection to his colleagues.

  Currently, she is able to connect via a desktop remotely to his employer (instead of the vpn) and then connect to the additional software via https.

  Anyway, after all this language of wood can anyone offer suggestions of what the problem may be or any what more ways to collect the information required to provide a solution.

• Cordova 3.4 / file plugin 1.0.1 - resolveLocalFileSystemURL for the camera image

  I'm having a problem with some code that runs on Android 2.3 4.4 and iOS 5-7.  In short, he calls the getPicture of camera api method which managed returns a file URI.  An example of this URI is as follows:

  You should use the jar unsigned for the code generation library. You can download here:

  Replace the existing cglib (which is signed) jar to /jboss-as/common/lib/cglib.jar with the pot of downloaded cglib unsigned. You can check the manifest file in the directory META-INF of the two jars. The signed JAR manifest file has reserved entrance SHA1 Digest corresponding to each class bundled in POT while the unsigned JAR which you should use will have something like that.
