huge exported jpg image size after much use of adjustment brush?

I have an image where I desaturated the largest part of the image, with a lot of small brushstrokes around a complex tattoo. I also applied other saturation and tint settings. Export a jpg file, the image size is 3 MB, relative to the size of the files of 400-500 kb for images without manipulation so. How do I "flatten" the image to get smaller files?

Thanks in advance!

JoHN ~.

Try to set the popup of metadata to the "copyright only. You have so many brushstrokes that metadata in lightroom (it stores the info on every brush stroke, you do in each exported by default) it's a significant amount of luggage you impose the file with.

  • Using the adjustment brush to the size of the image 100%

    I have used the adjustment brush in ACR ver 8.1 in CS6 & CS6cc.  I can use the brush to place the mask but wish I could edit the mask to 100%.  This requires that I move the image around the use of the hand tool, but by selecting the hand tool to deselect the PIN for the adjustment brush.  After moving into a new place in the picture and select the adjustment brush, how do I turn on the PIN to touch up the mask?

    When you work with the ay tool in Camera Raw, hold the space bar will give you the tool moving for as long as the space bar is pressed - and back to provious tool when leave.

  • Cannot add other changes by using the adjustment brush in Lightroom 5.

    Use Lightroom 5 - when I go to a previously published picture to do more to change by using the adjustment brush, I opened the effect I want to use (Dodge, for example), but all of the sliders are inoperative. The word "Dodge (Edited)" appears in the header of effects. This is why I can not make any further changes to the image. I open the drop down menu effects and ticked 'restore default presets', but nothing helped. All welcome solutions.

    Make sure that the flow and the density are not set to 0 or another low value. Try setting the two to 100.

  • Lightroom CC gel when you use the adjustment brush

    I recently discovered the power of the adjustment brush for Dodge & burn my RAW photos. I am progressing through a photo editing however, my Mac gets slower and hangs with the beach ball. • Image recovery after the use of Ctrl-alt-shift-DEL in a collection

    Today a do a really stupid move and accidentally used the Ctrl-alt-shift-del to command to remove 31 images from a Collection (so that what I really wanted to do was remove this particular collection. D'oh!!!! D'oh!!!! Oh !!!)

    (It of on a PC running the Version 6.6.1 LR and earn 10, and I learned the command of a post years ago: Re: ways to 'Remove the lot' )

    I immediately is gone in the trash and found 6 images in there and used the restore from Recycle Bin command and I hope that these were "given".

    Can I ask the following prayer:

    1. If there were only 6 images from the trash, does mean that the other 25 deleted images in the collection were Lr Copies of original RAW files and that therefore the 25 Raw original will always be OK? (I use Copies a little bit, but without a way to check I don't know)  Is it correct to assume that Lr destroyed all Copies for good in this scenario?
    2. Are there any other "recovery protocols" I can try to restore images of 31 'that '?
    3. As of the best way to re - synchronize the 6 files that I restored the trash? Should I use synchronize folders?

    Now, IF I have lost the RAW files (which is my real concern here) I have recent backups and full on external hard drives of all catalogs and all RAW images too which will contain these 'lost' images (if RAW OR just copy), BUT is it a protocol of identification in some way what specific files have been deleted and copy then back ' up' one of the backups I have? (Spirit I don't know which files have been deleted!) I am wary of simply copying all THE catalogs and the Backup Images, because this will cancel the other recent work, I am ideally looking to just put in the articles 'lost' if it's possible?

    Thanks in advance for your help on this messy problem!

    1. CTRL-Alt-Shift-Delete Deletes immediately and without a prompt dialog box photos from Lightroom and your hard drive. If they original RAW photos are not in the trash, and then they are not on your computer. The photos are imported is not as your catalog. There is no such thing as "Lr of Copies of original RAW files"
    2. You can try a program called "undelete utility.
    3. Never tried, but certainly import would work here, but see my next paragraph

    You must copy a recent backup of the file catalog somewhere else (not in the same folder as the backup), and then double-click it to open it. Your changes and the metadata provided by the user are here. Use the command search for the missing files to Lightroom to determine which photos are now missing. Then copy backups of photos you want to the location in your original folder hierarchy that these photos were previously. This should be the photos to be reconnected in Lightroom.

I try to click again to make a new brush through the previous settings are still there and if I start painting it is also change of exposure, etc.. What is the best way to reset all the previous settings without changing anything in my image? In other words, I don't want to erase any setting that I've already applied to the image at the new adjustment brush.

    Thanks for any info.

    As soon as you click on new, just double-click on the word effect upward the adjustment panel brush. Which resets everything in the adjustment brush. But since you have chosen again, it will have no effect on your previous brush.

  • Photoshop CC - overview of the glitching growing jpg image size

    Hi Adobe forum.

    This is my first post so I hope I do everything right and announces to the right places...

    I have just upgraded to CC today and so glad I finally did.

    However, this state of mind changed totally increased, I started using Photoshop.

    I installed Photoshop CC and open a random JPG file and then increase the size of the image. The preview proved in the blocks in areas where the image is not displayed is just all black.

    I thought it might be a problem of refresh on my computer. When saving the file, I realized that the new file is the same as the preview!

    I tried this same original image in CS6 and it worked perfectly as before.

    What a huge disappointment and I want to cancel the subscription of the CC

    I have attached a random set of jpg, I saved to test.

    Each preview I increased and decreased the size of the real and preview window comes out differently.

    And when saving the file, it records what I see on the screen.

  • Reduce the image size after scanning

    I have a problem, identify ways to reduce an image in size so it's pretty small to put in my remote (it's the words that I am allergic to penicillin in many different languages, preceded by the corresponding indicator).  I can crop the image so it shows just the words and the flag, but then I want to re-size (but this is grayed out in the list). I am at a loss. I've never had an all-in-one before so am probably being a bit thick I know, but you would appreciate the help.

  • To access the Jpg image files after deleting files of AAE position

    I was manually copying my photos my iPhone6 on my PC (Windows 10) and deleted the. AAE different associated with JPEG images files before copying them, because I had deleted these same files previously after transfer to my laptop without a problem. I see that now I can't open/view all JPEG files.

    I tried to cancel the deletion but could not do it in windows and seems not due to my recycling bin either.

    Any advice on how to recover the files of the EFA or access JPEG files? Thank you.

    You should be able to open JPEG files, the. AAE files are the sidecar files that contain changes.

    Are the photos always in your phone? If so you could import it onto the computer.

    Edit: If you have removed the. AAE files directly from the iPhone through the computer's File Explorer, the database of iPhone Photos have damaged you.

  • Photoshop does not include metadata in exported jpg

    When I export my photos as jpg in Photoshop, the jpg images contain not all metadata.

    I have RAW files from Sony and Nikon cameras with the metadata (date taken and the camera info). During the processing of the images through Lightroom, metadata are correctly transferred to JPG files. When I opened the pictures in Photoshop, I can correctly display the metadata by file-> file Info... so Photoshop recognizes correctly the metadata. It just does not write it for the exported jpg images.

    How can I fix?

    No idea, maybe in an another half dozen feature releases export as will be to provide the same functionality as Save for Web.

  • CS5 - export .jpg specify (or change) the Image size

    OK, we currently have 2 one configuration to print cards and templates for web maps. What we have since both cards are identical, except the size of the map, is to have a single model. Two of them are related to vector graphics of AI.

    Problem is to print card is

    Tel: 91.437 mm

    H: 53.338

    WebCard is

    W: 17.5 in.

    H: 10.208

    We first tried using the print card model that works well for our printer, but when download us on the web, that it turns out very pixelated, even when we have clarified the following preferences:

    for (var myCounter = 0; myCounter < myDocument.pages.length; myCounter ++) {}

    myPageName = myDocument.pages.item (myCounter) .name;

    app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegExportRange = ExportRangeOrAllPages.exportRange;

    app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegQuality = JPEGOptionsQuality.high;

    app.jpegExportPreferences.exportResolution = 128;

    app.jpegExportPreferences.pageString = myPageName;

    My guess is the size is much smaller, so what we had originally for web maps.

    _________________________________________________________________________________________

    Then we tried to use the card export for printing, and web but by downloading scal doesn't work properly on the printer, and they see the way of the card, because it's more size.

    Have you tried the following against the print template:

    var myDocument = app.documents.item (0);

    {with (myDocument.documentPreferences)}

    pageHeight = "17.5 in."

    pageWidth = "10.208 in."

    but this only changed the page size is not the image.

    Anyway to resize or specify a size for a full page not only .jpg image?

    Please help, thanks in advance,

    Joe

    I'm not sure but maybe you can use a rectangle for the AI image, resize the rectangle and adjust proportionately the image inside
    hope this helps

    I'm trying to reduce the file size of a jpeg file, but the dialog box under image > image size reflects a much smaller that the file is. I saved the image after resampling and simplistic image, the pip size reduced to 72 and lowered the low quality only to see the minimum file size reduction. Why the dialog box in photoshop gives me a different file size than my computer and how do I solve this problem? Thank you!

    The Image Size dialog box dialog box shows the uncompressed size.

    Your operating system (Explorer/Finder) shows the size compressed. (size on the disk)

    If you use save for Web, you can see the compressed size, but also an overview.
