  We do the POC on integrating OBIEE 11.1.1.9.0 Hyperion 11.2.4 space via SSO.

  The documentation says:

  They should use storage of common identity for the standards body to work. I installed OBIEE home separate middleware and Hyperion Planning in separate middleware, identity storage is different for the two products.

  The integration will work? anyone tried this?

  If not, in the case if we want that it is on the same identity (embedded weblogic ldap) store should install us hyperion and obiee on same middleware House? Is supported the installation of Hyperion and OBIEE on same middleware House?

  I advanced and tried integration and recorded the obiee with hyperion workspace, Navigate-> administer->

  I see OBIEE links but they are not functional and the links read like

  You will need to use a common external directory and configuration that is supported by OBIEE and EMP for example MSAD

  Take a look at the support matrix to see which directories are supported.

  Hello Vinay,

  You can't use template security BI Publisher when the BEEP is integrated with OBIEE. You must use the Oracle Fusion Middleware security model in this case because OBIEE manages access. Security model BI Publisher can be used when you use a Simple installation, no installation of the company.   We are working on Siebel 8.1 and OBIEE 10.1.3. I have here two doubts.

  My question is how campaign Siebel CRM to get information on the segment result OBIEE subscribers (i.e. how Siebel data linking the result of segmentation OBIEE data)?

  Christian Berg , not sure I read the matrix certification right but I would say you can upgrade your OBIA 11 to use OBIEE 12 c and it is taken care of.

  It is therefore not an olive TREE packed with OBIEE 12 c to come, but it supports an upgrade of OBIEE.

  I installed my new server linux with OBIEE 1.1.1.7. (my previous server was rather 1.1.1.6.8) and I copied my old catalogue, with analysis, dashboard, etc. on this new server.

  Now, if I try right-click on a table or a PivotTable, I can't see all the options in my context menu: I just "move to" and the label of the measure, but not 'show the subtotal', 'Create a group', 'Create calculated item', 'delete' or 'keep only '.

  If I try to change my analysis, in the results panel, I see all the menu items: but no, if I try to do the same thing from the published dashboard.

  Is there something that I missed during the installation of the new server?

  In my old server 1.1.1.6 the menu works fine.

  Any suggestion?

  I searched for a virtual machine with OBIEE and APEX pre-installed, but I can't find it... or information messages on this subject. Does anyone know if y at - it a selection of pre-designed developer programs VM with these two tools?
  I currently have the "database App Development VM' with APEX in there, but I can't understand how to install OBIEE inside.

  PL see deployment guide in the link above - the model of computer virtual includes version of database 11.2.0.3, which should be the APEX installed by default in it. If this isn't the case, it will be much easier to install the APEX in the VM OBIEE.

  I'm following Oracle Support Note + Integrating Oracle Applications Business Intelligence with Oracle E-Business Suite [552735.1 ID] + to allow my EBS users to log on to OBI Apps of the EBS instance. This does not work and that my EBS users log on dashboards and responses through the menu links documented in EBS. However, presentation BI administrator is not a user of the EBS and can now connect through the connection URL http:// < host > BI: 9704/analytics/saw.dll? Dashboard. Instead, there is a message:
  
  + "You are not already connected to the Oracle BI server." +
  
  + "If you have already connected, your connection may have expired, or a communication or a server error could have happened". +
  
  Is there a way to allow presentation BI administrator to directly access the login page BI, once integration at EBS has been set up?

  You can use saw.dll? Dashboard & NQUser = Admin & NQPassword = AdminPassword but it is not secure because the password is transmitted in raw and stored text in the history of the brower URL

• Problem with MSINFO32. EXE and Total/available vs Page file space virtual memory reported

  I am running Windows XP Professional SP3 with all installed updates, latest hardware drivers, etc.. It is a CLEAN installation on a material brand new, completed a week ago.
  The "/ PAE" switch is enabled in the boot.ini file.

  When I run MSINFO32. EXE, the summary of the system is the following:

  Right click on 'my computer' and selecting 'Properties' shows exact needs to be visible to a 32 bit OS... 3.24 GB of RAM. So, how MSINFO32. EXE is able to detect all of 8 GB is totally beyond me. But this isn't my problem.

  My BIG PROBLEM is the virtual memory. If I open the root of my drive E:\, it shows the swap file to size: 4 096 MB. And that's how it is in 'my computer' > 'Advanced' > 'Performance' > 'Advanced' > 'virtual memory' > 'change'.
  Custom size:
  -Initial size (MB): 4096
  -Maximum size (MB): 4096
  Total size of file for all readers:
  -Minimum authorized: 2 MB
  -Recommended: 4978 MB
  -Currently allocated: 4080 MB

  Why is-MSINFO32. EXE, statement my total virtual memory 2 GB and the size of pagefile 7.07 GB? Neither is correct! Can someone explain just what the heck happens here? My research on Google, many other people report the same total/available virtual memory amounts, with wildly different hardware configurations. I changed the size manually and rebooted several times, without result. I had the pagefile, sitting in a 5 GB partition, and then he moved on to another drive with plenty of space and assign "System managed". Divergence still existed.

  The material is as follows:

  I changed the speed / "timing" on the RAM to run ~ 666 Mhz @ 9-9-9-24, and the problem persists. As far as I know, he is not actually detrimental to the system; that is, it does not regularly, crash or anything. But the fact that MSINFO32. EXE cannot obtain such a right basis is VERY disturbing for me. There is no state what operating system says it is, then what fundamental problem may arise at some point in the future? Or is already there, hidden and wait a moment when the system load is high until it rears its ugly head and denounces all?
  I wonder if I should completely eliminate virtual memory? Or at least reduce the pagefile to 2 GB or close?
