  Hello

  Let me start by saying that I am not new to Hyperion Planning. We encounter a weird problem in our Test System. We notice that some (NOT ALL) of our tour of webforms in readonly webforms. all the cells in the gray form. It comes to despite the fact that the read-only checkbox is not checked in the form as well as the security is fine on all dimensions; Basically, all the cells of the form are valid combinations.

  The form becomes readonly, and all the data on this form is always Wiped. This has happened only for two web forms so far. We took a lot of Calc (none of the Calc have cleardata command). We do not know why this is happening. Maybe it's a bug in the product... not sure. has anyone seen this behavior before?

  Please skip this question. It happened because someone on my team had added a member under umbrella of level 0.

• Member in Hyperion Planning Forms

  Hi all
  
  We are the 11.1.1.3 System. I renamed a few names of members in Hyperion Planning thanks to Internet and has updated. During the update, I got an error saying that some formulas are not valid. So I thought that members who I've renamed it use in these formulas. And I went to open the Member but surprisingly I don't see formulas of Member in it. But when I looked in the contour EAS I've seen error for the Member saying "error loading the fomula history". so I corrected the forumla member with the correct name. After that I updated outline of the planning, but the changes I made through the Regional service are always there. So I am confused. Please answer these 2 questions.
  
  1. why I am not able to see member through the planning Web forumlas?
  2. once I had changed formula of Member in environmental assessments, then did update from planning. I'm still able to see the changes I made EA even after refresh planning. Why changes have not disappeared when I refresh planning?
  
  Any suggestions are welcome.

  Do you use the UDA - HSP_UDF anywhere?

  If not, then clear the «!» ERROR: FORMULA NOT LOADED! "comment on the properties of Member in EA, and also remove the formula member.
  Add the formula of Member in the planning, then refresh.

• Unable to open the data on hyperion planning form

  When I open the data form this message appears:
  "Your data request refers to a member who does not know planning or Essbase. Make sure that all members are defined in the planning and Essbase'

  First do you have confirmed all the elements you reference on your form exist in Essbase using EAS - if perform a refresh of the planning database solves this problem is the problem.

  Then, confirm that if you use substitution variables, as they are indeed correct values.

• Date incorrectly displayed data hyperion planning form.

  Hi gurus,

  We submit the date values of smartview through Ad-Hoc analysis (i.e. March 1, 2015 is presented as 42064). Members are defined as 'DataType' = 'Date', but they are not displayed in the form web planning when in the browser, but when we check excel by changing the "number Format" as the same cell date displays the correct date. Are the details and screenshots below, please let us know if you have encountered any problems or no resolution this.

  If you use a connection essbase for a planning application that the date should be stored in a different way, it must be in YYYYMMDD format

  For March 1, 2015 using Essbase connection, you need to store the date as

• Hyperion Planning - invalid or did not find the configuration of the module

  Hello

  I modified the essbase property file in essbase server and report as server below and restart all the services of hyperion.

  netConnectRetry = 30

  netDelay = 2000

  netSocketTimeOut = 20000

  After restarting the services, I am not able to open planning applications. I get the error message - 'invalid or did not find the configuration of the module.

  This error is straight after the restart services, usually that type of error can be caused if the jdbc connection pool is full, which shouldn't really be the case when the service starts up.

  Are you able to connect to schedule directly if? If this isn't the case, restart the new service and check if the errors are recorded.

  Check if the user accessing the form has given access to all the dimensions that are represented in the form.

• Hyperion Planning form issue in Oracle EPM 11.1.2.2

  Hi guys,.
  
  I faced a problem that I had never met before. I used LCM to perform a backup of the forms in the planning application. Then I deleted all forms of the respective folders. And restored forms of file backup taken earlier. The forms have been restored to the applications, but the folder structure has been destroyed. So, I wanted to delete the folders and reorganize everything. But I could not remove the folder form. No idea how I can delete the folders form? FYI, I am removing an empty folder. There is no form on the inside, but it still does not allow to delete me the folder. Remove the button is not active. Any help would be much appreciated.

  I saw this question in 11.1.2.2, and I don't think that it has nothing to do with LCM. It just seems to be a bug. Once you have removed all forms of a file, the button Delete (red X) must be enabled. This is not always the case.

  I've found a workaround. If you select the folder of form and then press the button "Grant access", the button Delete become active again. You don't have to actually change the folder security form or anything like that, just press 'Affect access' then press Cancel. Then delete.

• Hyperion Planning form year range

  I am building a form of planning to incorporate input of 20 years. I have years (exercise) and the period (months) with one bunch of other Dimensions. I would like to create an input column for each year during the 1920s. I put the period dimension be April to allow for entry, and I'm trying to specify a range for the years from dimension so that I don't have to create 20 subvars. I know that in calc scripts, you can reference subvars with beaches (FY12:FY31), but I tried to do that with the years, adding quotation marks commas, etc. and I get an error message that the Subvar is not defined when it contains a range.
  
  Could someone point me in the right direction for the creation of ranges as a single subvar or if this is impossible?

  As far as I know that you can not use a void var with a range.

  The location of the utility all depends on the version as it was preparing round several times on your version of the utility should be in \Hyperion\HyperionPlanning\Utils

• Are there available options to add formatting to Hyperion planning forms?

  We have recently updated to 11.1.2.4. We have several planning review forms used in the budgeting process. We cannot find a way to add any type of normal formatting (bold, underline or double underlined accounts totals, font etc. change) to more professional forms to the research. Anyone know if this is possible or if there are future plans to add this feature to the forms?

  I have two account members following my form online:

  -Quantity

  -Average price

  For the Member of the 'quantity' the property data Type is set to 'No money' and for 'Average price' is set to "Currency".

  My form, I want to display 0 decimal places for the 'quantity' and 'average price 3 '.

  In the "Other Options" tab, I put the Minimum values and Maximum to 0 for currency values and I put the values of the Minimum and Maximum to 3 for monetary values, but the screen displays 3 decimal places for the 'Quantity' and 'Avg Price. "

  What could be the problem?

• Hyperion Planning TxtCase appear in OBIEE reports.

  The requirement is corresponding Hyperion Planning entered in forms on OBIEE reports comments. I was able to retrieve details about the author, content of the note as well as the corresponding dimensions in considering the following tables:
  1.HSP_CELL_NOTE
  2.HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM
  3.HSP_OBJECT
  4.HSP_USER
  
  But I'm confused about the later approach that I take. How the Federation would be made with the Essbase cube in the OBIEE repository? How comments should be referenced to specific OBIEE reports corresponding to the Hyperion Planning Forms?
  
  I use Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 and OBIEE 11.1.1.6.

  The problem has been resolved. For example. For comments, a notice must be created in the relational database where the records retrieved from the HSP_CELL_NOTE and HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM HSP_OBJECT, the Member of dimension alias names must be recovered form HSP_ALIAS or HSP_MEMBER in the view. Then using the lookup function in OBIEE, we can extract the value (comment) the relational database view looking upward with the names of members alias Essbase in the MDB layer. • Issue of Hyperion Planning Smart View with the names of the members & alias

  IM using Smart View "Essbase' connection to a worm 11.1.1.3, however the connection of essbase, Hyperion Planning Application I'm not able to select the view options smart to see the alias, the members or both. I change the setting (duplicate names allowed members = true) directly the properties of the sketch in EAS, and now I am able to see the names of borrowing, but if time I update it using web/workspace planning, this setting is cancelled. In addition I don't have something I should use with planning. Any comments?

  First of all, I hope that you have not changed the properties of the sketch in environmental assessments for a planning application.
  For more information on the use of pseudonyms in smartview have a read of:- Smartview - display options to display the names of the - alias
  Also you only will be able to view member name or alias not both at the same time.

• ODI: Hyperion Planning target IKM issue

  In my ODI interface, I am trying to load data from flat file for Hyperion Planning application.
  
  To do this, I imported knowledge modules
  
  1 RKM Hyperion Planning
  2 LKM SQL file
  3 IKM SQL for Hyperion Planning
  
  Here, I am able to Reverese hyperion, planning an application using RKM Hyperion Planning.
  
  Interface creation started and when I try to assign IKM for Hyperion planning target, it's not showing "IKM SQL to Hyperion Planning". _ in the list of the IKM.
  Could you please suggest, if I'm missing something.

  Hi Uday,

  Have you checked the box "staging: different target area" on the first tab of your interface? You must select a logic diagram it that points to a technology database as the Sunopsis Memory engine or (which I recommend) a schema, Oracle or SQL Server.

  Then you should be able to select the IKM planning.
