• Strange question: Hyperion Planning Forms becomes read-only and data are destroyed: 11.1.2.2

  Hello

  Let me start by saying that I am not new to Hyperion Planning. We encounter a weird problem in our Test System. We notice that some (NOT ALL) of our tour of webforms in readonly webforms. all the cells in the gray form. It comes to despite the fact that the read-only checkbox is not checked in the form as well as the security is fine on all dimensions; Basically, all the cells of the form are valid combinations.

  The form becomes readonly, and all the data on this form is always Wiped. This has happened only for two web forms so far. We took a lot of Calc (none of the Calc have cleardata command). We do not know why this is happening. Maybe it's a bug in the product... not sure. has anyone seen this behavior before?

  Please skip this question. It happened because someone on my team had added a member under umbrella of level 0.

• Hyperion Planning Forms opens is not in Smartview

  I created two new forms Hyperion Planning Using Variables of Substitution Essbase.  They make in the workspace with no problems.  But in trying to open with SmartView, I get a (undefinable) error message that explains the shape is not valid.  Have never seen this before and am at a loss for what is the cause.  I changed to hardcode the 'year' and the 'Scenario' instead of SubVars, but still does not.  I use the 11.1.2.3.500 Version.  I have attached the error I get below.

  For a test, can you copy these forms with a different name, avoid the slashes in the naming convention and give it a try...

• Member in Hyperion Planning Forms

  Hi all
  
  We are the 11.1.1.3 System. I renamed a few names of members in Hyperion Planning thanks to Internet and has updated. During the update, I got an error saying that some formulas are not valid. So I thought that members who I've renamed it use in these formulas. And I went to open the Member but surprisingly I don't see formulas of Member in it. But when I looked in the contour EAS I've seen error for the Member saying "error loading the fomula history". so I corrected the forumla member with the correct name. After that I updated outline of the planning, but the changes I made through the Regional service are always there. So I am confused. Please answer these 2 questions.
  
  1. why I am not able to see member through the planning Web forumlas?
  2. once I had changed formula of Member in environmental assessments, then did update from planning. I'm still able to see the changes I made EA even after refresh planning. Why changes have not disappeared when I refresh planning?
  
  Any suggestions are welcome.

  Do you use the UDA - HSP_UDF anywhere?

  If not, then clear the «!» ERROR: FORMULA NOT LOADED! "comment on the properties of Member in EA, and also remove the formula member.
  Add the formula of Member in the planning, then refresh.

• Hyperion Planning form issue in Oracle EPM 11.1.2.2

  Hi guys,.
  
  I faced a problem that I had never met before. I used LCM to perform a backup of the forms in the planning application. Then I deleted all forms of the respective folders. And restored forms of file backup taken earlier. The forms have been restored to the applications, but the folder structure has been destroyed. So, I wanted to delete the folders and reorganize everything. But I could not remove the folder form. No idea how I can delete the folders form? FYI, I am removing an empty folder. There is no form on the inside, but it still does not allow to delete me the folder. Remove the button is not active. Any help would be much appreciated.

  I saw this question in 11.1.2.2, and I don't think that it has nothing to do with LCM. It just seems to be a bug. Once you have removed all forms of a file, the button Delete (red X) must be enabled. This is not always the case.

  I've found a workaround. If you select the folder of form and then press the button "Grant access", the button Delete become active again. You don't have to actually change the folder security form or anything like that, just press 'Affect access' then press Cancel. Then delete.

  The location of the utility all depends on the version as it was preparing round several times on your version of the utility should be in \Hyperion\HyperionPlanning\Utils

  The format of the command line will be

  formdefutil

  for example
  FormDefUtil.cmd export Form1 localhost password admin APPNAME

  FormDefUtil.cmd export - all localhost admin password APPNAME

• Are there available options to add formatting to Hyperion planning forms?

  We have recently updated to 11.1.2.4. We have several planning review forms used in the budgeting process. We cannot find a way to add any type of normal formatting (bold, underline or double underlined accounts totals, font etc. change) to more professional forms to the research. Anyone know if this is possible or if there are future plans to add this feature to the forms?

• Date incorrectly displayed data hyperion planning form.

  Hi gurus,

  We submit the date values of smartview through Ad-Hoc analysis (i.e. March 1, 2015 is presented as 42064). Members are defined as 'DataType' = 'Date', but they are not displayed in the form web planning when in the browser, but when we check excel by changing the "number Format" as the same cell date displays the correct date. Are the details and screenshots below, please let us know if you have encountered any problems or no resolution this.

  If you use a connection essbase for a planning application that the date should be stored in a different way, it must be in YYYYMMDD format

  For March 1, 2015 using Essbase connection, you need to store the date as

• Hyperion Planning form year range

  Hello world
  I am building a form of planning to incorporate input of 20 years. I have years (exercise) and the period (months) with one bunch of other Dimensions. I would like to create an input column for each year during the 1920s. I put the period dimension be April to allow for entry, and I'm trying to specify a range for the years from dimension so that I don't have to create 20 subvars. I know that in calc scripts, you can reference subvars with beaches (FY12:FY31), but I tried to do that with the years, adding quotation marks commas, etc. and I get an error message that the Subvar is not defined when it contains a range.
  
  Could someone point me in the right direction for the creation of ranges as a single subvar or if this is impossible?

  As far as I know that you can not use a void var with a range.

  Check if the user accessing the form has given access to all the dimensions that are represented in the form.

• Unable to open the data on hyperion planning form

  When I open the data form this message appears:
  "Your data request refers to a member who does not know planning or Essbase. Make sure that all members are defined in the planning and Essbase'

  First do you have confirmed all the elements you reference on your form exist in Essbase using EAS - if perform a refresh of the planning database solves this problem is the problem.

  Then, confirm that if you use substitution variables, as they are indeed correct values.

• Data in the form online endangered

  Hi all

  I entered data into the online form and saved. I got the message as data is saved successfully, but I didn't see all the data in the online form.

  I created a fake online form and entered the data for the same combination and I am able to see the data

  I thought that the original online form is corrupt, so I did a reconstruction of the same online form... I have no luck yet data are endangered. There is no calc script, attached to the weborm

  Please let me know if someone did this kind of weird question

• Hyperion Planning evaluation order of Dimensions

  Hi all

  Hope you all have a good day.

  I have a question about Hyperion Planning (version11.1.2.2.306) order of evaluation of the Dimension which is part of the following navigation:

  Administration > manage > Dimension > third tab

  What is the ideal way to set the order of evaluation?

  Currently, we have the Dimensions dense scattered dimensions first and then (higher number of members at least). What is the proper way to set the order of evaluation?

  The requirement is corresponding Hyperion Planning entered in forms on OBIEE reports comments. I was able to retrieve details about the author, content of the note as well as the corresponding dimensions in considering the following tables:
  1.HSP_CELL_NOTE
  2.HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM
  3.HSP_OBJECT
  4.HSP_USER
  
  But I'm confused about the later approach that I take. How the Federation would be made with the Essbase cube in the OBIEE repository? How comments should be referenced to specific OBIEE reports corresponding to the Hyperion Planning Forms?
  
  I use Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 and OBIEE 11.1.1.6.

  The problem has been resolved. For example. For comments, a notice must be created in the relational database where the records retrieved from the HSP_CELL_NOTE and HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM HSP_OBJECT, the Member of dimension alias names must be recovered form HSP_ALIAS or HSP_MEMBER in the view. Then using the lookup function in OBIEE, we can extract the value (comment) the relational database view looking upward with the names of members alias Essbase in the MDB layer. • Accuracy of cells Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.3

  Hi guys,.

  Something strange is happening in my data forms. I remember 11.1.2.1 when I set the precision of the data forms the Visual of the cells would apply the defined number of decimal places, but when I pressed on the cell, it would show the exact value.

  For example if I get 3.6, it would turn into 4, I could push the cell and see 3.6. In this version if I press it, I see 4. How it can display the correct values without having to change the options of the form?

  You seem to be hitting a code BUG 18223107 - DATA FORM PRECISION GRID of DATA IN 11.1.2.3 CHANGE and work on the same currently.

  The description of the bug is as follows:

  "Steps to reproduce in the sample application:

  1 open the Plan revenue form - every year in the sample application

  2 change the form, and then assign him 2 minimum precision and accuracy to 2 max.

  3. open the form and enter one of the values in cells 10.123456

  4 save data in the form. Cell correctly displays the value 10.12

  5. click on the modified cell and note that it always displays 10.12. In previous versions of planning (pre - ADF), if the cell has been highlighted for the update, it had real value, in this case, it would be 10.123456.

  6 change the precision of the forms, then increase max up to 7.

  7. open cell change notice form yet still shows 10.12

  In Hyperion Planning Admin Guide 11.1.2.3 p.165 we read: "precision parameters affect only the display of the values, not their values, which are more accurate." This is not the case here - precision settings affect the stored value. »
