Planning Registry_11.1.2.4 RMI
Hi gurus,
I try to set up the connection between ODI (11.1.1.7) & planning 11.1.2.4 but unable to connect on Port planning: 11333.
Planning & RMI successfully installed and can create applications as well; What I noticed is that Oracle Hyperion RMI registry is not displayed in the Services Console and so I imagine that connectivity is a failure.
Can you please through some light, how the Service of the RMI registry may be high in the Services Console.
Error when you try to REVERSE ENGINEERING of ODI: below
"com.hyperion.odi.planning.ODIPlanningException: com.hyperion.odi.planning.ODIPlanningException: could not connect to the instance of planning on the [Planning Server] host, port [11333], check if log information are accurate."
Services currently appear:

Error in access to shared services
Hello all-
I set up the Foundation for 11.1.2 services & configuration shows that everything is over.
I'm been in Control Panel services & started services for
Hyperion Foundation Services - managed server
Oracle process manager
Hyperion RMI Registry
All services above started without any problems.
Now, I went to an internet explore & was trying to access the shared by using the URL service next http://servername:28080/interop/index.jsp and I get the following error:
Error 404 - not found
RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol--HTTP / 1.1:
* 10.4.5 404 not found *.
Server not found anything matching the request URI. No indication is given whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (refused) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through a configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
I have to do something more after the configuration of the service of the Foundation?
Thank you!Have a read of overview, I wrote about how to install 11.1.2:-http://john-goodwin.blogspot.com/2010/04/epm-1112-installation.html

Can someone help me with this problem?
Kind regards
Marcin StawnyYou certainly need to use port 11333, and you should make sure that the 'Hyperion RMI Registry' service is running.

Is there a problem because Installation of the ODI has been conducted by FDMEE?
Is there a constraint or it is just a configuration problem?
Is and RMI (RMI) problem?
Wouldn't be a register RMI in EPM problem?
Information on the system environment
-In the course of running on the LInux SUSE server
-By using the EPM 11.1.2.3 system
-With the help of ODI 11.1.1.7 (the ODI installation via FDMEE)
Do you want to know from your experience of something that can guide us?
Any suggestions would be very helpful!
Thank you

The port is not correct, the port must be the RMI port, which by default is 11333

Why do we not use port no. 11333 for Hyperion planning?
Why do we not use port no. 11333 for Hyperion, planning for metadata by ODI?More, what you need to know, when you deploy planning you will see that there is a process of 'Java RMI Registry' / service, it works on port 13333. The planning adapter communicates with the RMI registry and then communicates with the planning. If you need to know more, then look for "Java RMI" on the internet.

ODI and Hyperion Planning help
Hello
I have 2 Hyperion Planning 9.3.1 configuring servers for applications of Finance and human resources. I want to copy the data from the application of human resources to finance one.
I ODI 10.3.5 installation on a machine separate with Hyperion Planning card installed. In the topology Manager when I try to create a new database in Hyperion Planning Server, I do not see the Application (catalogue) and demand (the work catalogue) drop downs fill.
I checked the RMI registry service running on the server of hyperion and port 11333 is also free.
I'm new on ODI and I'm trying to set it up using Oracle guides.
Imran.Again check your odiparams.bat file and make sure that there is no space located right after the encoded password, repository work name, username etc.
Make sure the name of your working repository

Hello!
I have upgrade my EMP 11.1.2.3.500 and https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=1948713.1 of the question, I can fixed by changing port in files
/ Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/RMI/HyperionRMIRegistry
/ Oracle/middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/config/Starter/RMI. PropertiesBut there is no file hyperionrmiregistry/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/RMI/HyperionRMIRegistry in my house EMP!
I read the blog Hyperionized: change default schedule 11333 Hyperion RMI Port but HyperionRMIRegistry has also mentioned it.
Where can I get this file?
Why is this in the absence of my EMP?
Thank you
If the RMI is listening on the port that you have set so I don't see why you need to update the files that do not exist, the RMI runs correctly is not it?
Reversing a planning application in ODI never worked in the Middle, you are absolutely sure that the password has not changed since the configuration that you also get this error with incorrect credentials.

Why "connection refused to host" in registry.rebind ()?
My TestBind0 (code below) program trying to find/create a registry and link a GPO.
Find/create: it tests all first if there is already a record on that port; If this isn't the case, then it tries to create a.
The program tries to find/create the registry on ports 40654, 50876 30321, 33445, 1099, in that order, until what he managed both to create the register, and bind the object.
Why TestBind0 up at each attempt
java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: 192.168.1.64; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect at sun.rmi.transport.tcp.TCPEndpoint.newSocket(TCPEndpoint.java:601) at sun.rmi.transport.tcp.TCPChannel.createConnection(TCPChannel.java:198) at sun.rmi.transport.tcp.TCPChannel.newConnection(TCPChannel.java:184) at sun.rmi.server.UnicastRef.newCall(UnicastRef.java:322) at sun.rmi.registry.RegistryImpl_Stub.rebind(Unknown Source) at TestBind0.tryPort(TestBind0.java:48) at TestBind0.main(TestBind0.java:21) Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method) at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.doConnect(PlainSocketImpl.java:333) at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.connectToAddress(PlainSocketImpl.java:195) at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.connect(PlainSocketImpl.java:182) at java.net.SocksSocketImpl.connect(SocksSocketImpl.java:366) at java.net.Socket.connect(Socket.java:519) at java.net.Socket.connect(Socket.java:469) at java.net.Socket.(Socket.java:366) at java.net.Socket.(Socket.java:180) at sun.rmi.transport.proxy.RMIDirectSocketFactory.createSocket(RMIDirectSocketFactory.java:22) at sun.rmi.transport.proxy.RMIMasterSocketFactory.createSocket(RMIMasterSocketFactory.java:128) at sun.rmi.transport.tcp.TCPEndpoint.newSocket(TCPEndpoint.java:595) ... 6 more
(Note: 192.168.1.64 is my localhost)
in
reg.rebind("TestBind0", obj);
even when I specified - Djava.security.policy is all.policy, with the file all.policy in the current directory, containing
grant { permission java.security.AllPermission; };
The program is run using the command
java -cp bin -Djava.security.policy==all.policy TestBind0
Code:
import java.rmi.*; import java.rmi.registry.*; import java.rmi.server.*; import java.util.*; public class TestBind0 extends UnicastRemoteObject implements Counter { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; protected int count; protected TestBind0() throws RemoteException { super(); count = 0; } public static void main(String[] args) { List ports = Arrays.asList(40654, 50876, 30321, 33445, 1099); Integer successPort = null; for(int port : ports) { boolean success = tryPort(port); if(success) { successPort = port; break; } } System.out.println("successPort:" + successPort); System.out.flush(); } public static boolean tryPort(int port) { Registry reg = null; try { reg = LocateRegistry.getRegistry(port); } catch (RemoteException e) { try { reg = LocateRegistry.createRegistry(port); } catch (RemoteException e1) { } } if(reg==null) { return false; } boolean success = false; try { TestBind0 obj = new TestBind0(); reg.rebind("TestBind0", obj); // line 48 success = true; } catch (AccessException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } catch (RemoteException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } return success; } public int getCount() throws RemoteException { return count++; } }
> It tests first if there is already a record on that port; If this isn't the case, then it tries to create a.
It's back to the front. You should try to create one with LocateRegistry.createRegistry (), then if that fails, use LocateRegistry.getRegistry () on the registry you now know to exist.
You assume that "getRegistry()" throws an exception if the registry does not exist. There is no that. He built just a draft of registry. It does nothing on the network at all.

Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1 ODI 11.1.1.5 retro-design error
I have the port value 11333 Hyperion RMI service is running... always get this error...
By the way it looks like this 11.1.1.5 ODI release has too many bugs when loading the data and metadata to Hyperion...
It seems that I need ODI must be installed on the planning server... I got it running on the other server (essbase) initially and could not even access planning unless I used the Agent... Now I get this error:
