  • 3G BT Broadband Mobile (Huawei) problem with IE and Firefox, Satellite L300

    The L300 Satellite running Vista 32 bit.

    I have a connection Broadband BT and with WIFI or ethernet at home I can connect to the internet and go without problem.
    I also have the BT USB Dongle for mobile connection far from home, this is the problem.

    I can connect to the internet through the connection manager BT (the software that is included in the dongle and installed on the Satellite L300) and some dongles light and software see I am connected. Too, it is shown on the icons at the bottom of the computer screen.

    Problem is IE and firefox will open, but neither more, "cannot display this page' or 'Connection timed Out' my access provider Internet (BT) said this isn't a matter of Dongle it's a software issue.

    I know that it is typical of an ISP as much as the two BT lines did not know what to say,
    Funny it is... until last week it worked so I was away from home, I used IE then tried to do the full-screen page and then stopped with "cannot display this page". He has not worked since. I then installed Firefox to check that it was not just IE.

    I disabled my firewall and tried to connect, the same problems.
    My ISP said has the laptop computer connection selected an obscure port that IE of Firefox cannot find?

    If anyone can help?

    I'll go to MS and reinstall IE, I think now if the IE software "crushed" and changed some settings has firefox then tried to use the system corrupted settings?

    I have already downloaded again the BT Manager in BT connection

    Interesting problem.

    You are able to back up your data and run recovery?

    Or maybe just try a system restore to an earlier date.

    Hello:

    I installed the latest version 2.5.29.0 and does not work with firefox 3.0. If someone has tested with IE8?

    Thank you.

    The old Truesuite doesn t supports or is not compatible with the new IE and Firefox browsers. Wait for a update!
    I read somewhere that the Truesuite 3.0 or higher version would support IE8 and Firefox 3

  • Put in page works with IE and Firefox, different problems with the iPhone and Blackberry

    I created a website using DW CS4 www.hollisterairshow.com . When using my PC WinXp/IE and Firefox without problems occur in the page layout. However, I have a couple of users who have reported problems when you view the web site by using their smartphones.

    An iPhone user said the second line of the section containing the flag / date / flag is not centered, but left-aligned, everything is fine.

    A Blackberry user indicates the second line of the topic is properly aligned, but the menu bar that must appear on the left is missing!

    I don't have an iPhone or Blackberry, is it possible that I can test this using my PC? Does anyone have an idea what could be causing these issues?

    Thank you

    Tony

    I agree with the previous poster here.  I think that the best response to this is to create a separate site for mobile users, which is called case of detection.  It will be thought to create a site that is optimal in both environments.

  • Problem with selenium and firefox 13.0.1

    I have an automated process where I download files using firefox selenium... Everything works perfectly... It downloads all of them, but with the last of them, it remains as FileName.part (its size is 10000 KB) and FileName.xlsx (which should be the right pair, its empty).

    Any help?

    I found the answer!

    So, I used the selenium, and he had a setting 'pause' after that I do a click... So pseudo code was

    -Click to download
    -20-seconds pause
    -disconnect

    The file took more than 20 seconds to download, that's why I got a partial transfer!

    Thanks for the help! (btw selenium works only with firefox 13)

  • Printing with Safari and Firefox

    Lately, some sites say that they do not support older SAFARI browsers. When I print something, print is extremely low, even with a new print cartridge.

    When I print with FIREFOX, printing is crisp but the print menu displays the pages. Therefore, I'm not able to select the pages I want to print. Is there a solution?

    Firefox uses its own printing Panel and has a button down, which will display the details display or hide details (abbreviated Panel). The ability to print _ to _ is available on the largest panel display details.

  • 3rd party Cookies will disappear with IE9 and Firefox 4? Impact on Marketing Automation?

    People, was curious to know how other people are considering (or have thoughts) all about losing third-party tracking with more recent browsers cookie?

    Looks like this could be very disruptive for all providers of marketing automation, or at least some sort of a switch to a party cookie should be first tracking system. If I read correctly, those systems it will be progressive, profiling, some stats CTR and certainly notification Web site visitor would be affected.

    More info here: http://paidcontent.org/article/419-mozilla-ceo-do-not-track-option-will-be-in-firefox-4/

    Thoughts?

    With the Firefox solution, we do nothing, since it requires their header and sites to work together. The challenge with Firefox and their solution is that the addition as a header-not-track, is that it requires browsers and sites to implement it to be fully effective. In other words, you can set the-no-track disengage all you like to feature in your Firefox browser, but if Web sites that track chooses to ignore the header-no-trail of Mozilla it will not do anything good. We are not ignoring the issue of Firefox, but believe that their solution is not one that will provide the appropriate consumer control.

    Regarding IE, they will be using a local list that the user must fill with sites that they do not want to be tracked on. There is not much we can do about that the consumer has the choice already today to block ALL cookies regardless of the type of part. This feature gives just more detailed control to the consumer at the level of the web address vs just block all third party cookies.

    We tested 'keep my Op-out Google' and it does not affect email and web click followed. It is only monitoring online ads.

    Finally, we are looking at or not stay with third-party cookie tracking or move to the first party. You can imagine my choice but there will be a huge change in how customers work must pass if we choose one over the other. More to come as soon as this.

  • Problems with EDGE and Firefox 17

    17 Firefox is configured as my 'default' browser (Win7pro).

    I have a project loaded, saved dashboard and running. The project plays perfectly in firefox 17 when I use "Preview in browser" dashboard. But if I try to open the html package exported directly in firefox I get a message error "additional plugins are required to display the media on this page" with an option for 'install' plugins such as of course it does not find when you try to do. All java plugins are up-to-date and updates. Then...

    Why it works fine when I use "Preview in browser" directly form edge and not when I try to open the page directly in firefox 17? What does EDGE when he "sends" a glimpse into the browser that it doesn't when it creates the html export package?  BTW, everything works well in IE9.

    Joel Veizer

    I just downloaded the

    Your project file > .html (to open in FireFox) works very well. I don't get all the guests, either. Everything smoothly.

    I just created a simple page n Dw > added the package .oam of Board Composition. Saved and viewed in FireFox - works a charm and no warning. DW does not preview in application of edge entertainment.

    I can't explain why to make your FireFox with messages. The only thing I can see is if you have a few FireFox debugging extension or plugin installed.

    I see one thing about your project file (although I doubt that's the cause of the quick FireFox question)-your project seems to be a "report of an earlier version. I can say this is because your scene Panel Elements reference is tiny (stage

    ). That was how it was in Preview on Adobe Labs builds. Since the v1 should now appear like this (Stadium
    ).

  • Adobe reader with chrome and firefox plugin problem

    Screenshot from 2013-10-21 16:30:32.pngScreenshot from 2013-10-21 16:29:20.pngHi, im using Luna basic os and adobe reader 9.5.5 and latest version of firefox and chrome. But the adobe reader plugin is not listed in the chrome browser. Plugin from Adobe reader is listed in Firefox, but when I try to open an editable electronic form in firefox instead of display the form it shows a blank page. Please give me a solution to view and edit forms in the browser.

    Anthony

    Firefox and Chrome use their own viewers for PDF, not the Adobe Reader plugin.

    P.S. to post some screenshots, use the camera icon in the editor forum.

  • Problems of presentation with iExplorer and Firefox/Mozilla

    My layout does not appear to display properly in Firefox, it's all over the place. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here. I tried to find a solution in the world, but I can't seem to find a.
    I created the DIVs in different colors to make it easier to determine what are the components.

    Safari - OK
    Firefox - No. (not correct provision, overflow = auto works do not)
    iExplorer - bar none scrollbars (overflow = auto works do not)
    Opera - OK

    Here is the link to the CSS code:

    I use the latest versions of browsers.
    iExplorer 7
    Firefox 3.0.5 / mozilla 5.0
    Opera 9.62
    Safari 3.2.1

    This site has been tested on a Windows PC. I still have to test on a MAC, once the layout has been resolved.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Look at these rules in your CSS:

    {#MainContentTexture}
    background-image: url)
    .. /images/index/MainContentTexture_2.PNG;
    height: 250px;
    Width: 643px;
    position: relative;
    float: left;
    background-color: #993399;
    margin left: 25px;
    overflow: auto;
    }
    #MainContentTexture p {}
    background-image: url)
    .. /images/index/MainContentTexture_2.PNG;
    do-size: 12px;
    do-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, 'Times New Roman ';
    color: #fff;
    }

    Note that you are missing the closing parenthesis at the same time the background
    images.

  • I can ONLY connect to the internet with IE7 and Outlook Express

    I have Win XP SP3, home wired network, Netgear router, cable internet, Lenovo desktop.
    I can run IE 7 and Outlook Express and connect to the internet very well with these.  However, I can not connect using FireFox.  Windows Update returns an error and does NOT connect to scan my computer and display the necessary updates.  I just installed tax program this year HR CD block and it is unable to connect to internet to download the updates.  I used IE7 to go to the web site of the tax program to download the update manually, but it doesn't connect either.  I also can't complete installation OF Adobe (Digital Editions) program because it must connect to the internet in order to make a registration.

    I have disabled the Windows Firewall, do not have a configured proxy.  So, I can browse the internet with IE7 and get email with Outlook express.  I went on the site from Google Chrome to try to download it and install it that (using IE7 of course), but after I press the "Download" button, IE7 says that it cannot connect to perform the download.

    I scanned this forum and not seen similar symptoms that would allow me to reach a solution.  Everyone knows about this issue and how to resolve?

    P.S. I have two other laptops Win XP which CAN completely connect to internet with IE and Firefox via the same router and the modem cable.

    I tried trojan remover and none of the things in the menu utils found any problems.

    But it turns out that my problem was a hidden/partial copy of Symantec Client Firewall that I thought was deleted.  Over the months some programs had been updated and Symantec didn't know about them, so it was blocking their access: FROM Adobe, HR Block, IE8, Firefox, etc.  Given that I have not seen it listed in the start menu and it was not listed in Add/Remove Programs, I didn't have to try to remove it.  And it was not poping up to tell me of a new program attempts to access the Internet.

    I used the Symantec tool to remove all THE stuff of Symantec and it cleared up my connection problems.  I then reinstalled Symantec Client Security (antivirus and firewall) and turned off the Windows Firewall.

    Everything worked fine with Firefox 6. When I try to download a file with plupload, firefox thinks I'm trying to install an extension.

    I had the same problem. Today, I upgraded to the latest version of Plupload and now it works again!

  • Flash Player 11.9.900.117 not recognized by Opera and Firefox on Windows Vista (32-bit) SP2

    I use 4 browsers on my laptop Toshiba Windows Vista (32-bit) SP2:

    Internet Explorer 9

    Google Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101 m

    Opera Version 17.0.1241.45

    Mozilla Firefox Version 24.0

    I just downloaded and installed Flash Player 11.9.900.117, which is recognized by IE9 and Chrome from Google, but not in Opera and Firefox, even after closing the browser and re-start.

    How can I get Flash Player to work with Opera and Firefox?

    Thanks for your help.

    See you soon,.

    Joel

    There are two different versions of Flash Player for Windows (3 If you count Chrome)

    ActiveX which is ONLY for IE,

    Flash Player for other browsers which is for Opera, Safari and Firefox, and

    "PepperFlash" that is built into Chrome by Google.

    Download the tool or another browser version will have NO EFFECT on Chrome.

    Download of the ActiveX version WILL NOT install a plugin for Opera or Firefox because they do not use controls ActiveX - NO browser but IE uses not since about 2001.

    Download Adobe Flash Player for Firefox and Opera setup directly by clicking on the following link.

    Flash Player plug-in (all other browsers)

    Dear experts Hyperion:

    I wasn't able to download SmartView.exe of Hyperion, workspace-> 'Tools'-> 'Install' more after I've upgraded to the smartview 11.1.2.2.500 version. I followed the upgrade document and put the new version of smartview.exe in the next Hyperion Server directory

    \Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\common\epmstatic\wspace\SmartView

    and restart the services. When I connect to, click on the 'Tools'-> 'Install' workspace and get the error says "unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application. I have no problem with the old version of smartview.exe, who had no problem to download on the workspace.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Basically, you need to install .net 4.5 on your client machine, more information in the following support doc - "error:"Unable to find a Version of the duration to run this application"when to install Smart View 11.1.2.5 workspace using Autodeployment function (Doc ID 1591495.1).
