  I recently bought a HP Pavilion Notebook with Vista 32 bit SP1. My problem is that I can't download files .exe from the internet. In Firefox and Internet Explorer, the download box appears, I'm prompted to choose where the file should be saved and then nothing happens. I tried reseting IE as the Defender disablin but still no go (got this trick from HP support).

  I use a D-link DGL-4300 router and F-secure and I tried both set my computer in the demilitarized zone and allowing all the internet traffic of F-secure but ut still does not work. Another computer on the same network with XP have no problem download.

  Thank you for posting.  Download of .exe files has been disabled in most internet browsers for awhile now as a protection against the evil-ware and viruses.  Download a .exe file that is not in a container (zipped or some form of compression) is likely to be something nasty to your computer.

  He seems to be in a real bind here and there doesn't seem to be a category in the menu that fits this problem with windows 8 that I am experiencing. (I have no problem download java for my old computer until I had to replace the computer with one supplied with Windows 8).
  I had a College assignment due at 11:59 pm last night and was unable to download java in order to complete.
  I spent more than an hour and a half all operations "Troubleshooting" on pages 'help' and scour dozens of forums to help/support everything that Microsoft has to offer, to try it on the browser chrome, back to the Solution Explorer, check with the forums dedicated to each and all the stages of the java site provided... all to nothing will do.
  More specifically, when I click on the agreement and install after reading the contract and clicking to download, I am instantly greeted by 'Cannot display the webpage' errors in internet explore and chrome browsers.
  If I click on the troubleshooting link, it says that it cannot identify any problem.
  When I followed the steps to ensure that it is not already installed, it is not.
  When I followed the steps in the removal of all antivirus programs, I removed them and still no past.
  I click on refresh or wait a few minutes and still get the error message "cannot display the webpage". It has options to charge and when I click on it, it just goes back to the error page.
  I'm pretty frustrated because I'm sure you can imagine after missing the deadline for the graded assignment and am extremely grateful for any solution or the solution to my problem, you may be able to provide.
  I'm hoping to discover the solution and this exercise tonight (now it is finally here morning technically) until I SLEEP because I have other deadlines of tomorrow.

  It's a false alarm or Windows malware. No one can hurt you, and you don't need to do anything. Just do not pass to someone else.

  You have no need to do is get rid of the software "anti-virus" (AV). All these software are worse than useless.

  Malware Windows is so widespread that you must assume that it is in each attachment until proof to the contrary. If you are just curious to know if a file is recognized as malware by the AV engines, you can download it from the "VirusTotal" site, where it will be tested against most of them. I do not recommend doing this with a file that may contain private information. A negative result is no evidence of anything either, because the AV software is not reliable.

  Never leave any AV software remove or 'quarantine' send messages or attachments. This will damage the messaging database.

  Again, I am unable to download any app on my iPhone this time 6. This has happened before on my ipad and I had to wipe my ipad and reload all to solve the problem. I was able to download apps without any problem until May 27 - no changes to my device. I tried to download an application on Monday, June 6, that was when I identified the problem again. At this point my ipad still works but my iphone no longer works when you try the app store downloads. No errors occur, remains purely as the download button or wobbles in return. The real decrease of load or update of the application does not place. I can download music, access safari etc has simply not download or update applications. I see that common denominator of the problem which can be experienced and common complaint triggered during the search of the forum and on google!

  I tried a softboot, signature of my account, change the date on my phone (delete automatically update date) etc etc nothing works. It's extremely frustrating.

  When this happened on my ipad earlier this year that the apple store was advised that this is due to a bug on the version of the software and the only way to solve the problem is to do a complete cleaning on the device, and then restart the installation. It's a huge impact, because I have to constantly save data lost, but all downloaded content and then pay to download content and pay data charges to download content that is extremely expensive.   I know how it is important to install apps on the iPhone as well. I suggest you start by updating your iPhone to run the latest version of the operating system. It is best done by following these steps: update the iOS on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software

  I'd do the update via iTunes so that you get a new version of the operating system. Just be sure your iTunes is up to date with this article: get the latest version of iTunes and see if that allows you to install applications once it's done.

  The problem is that you have a mixture of episodes with boxes and episodes without. Your episode at the top of the page is not a forum, and it's the only one that is checked when you submit a stream. Because it is not a stream is rejected.

  It is not a good idea to mix the types of the episode in this way. The episodes that do not have fences do not appear in the store or a subscription. For now you seem to have Wordpress showing only 10 episodes in food, after which older, those are deleted (of course you can have only 10 so far). If you mix episodes and the number is limited, then very few episodes will appear in the store. You should be able to increase the number in the Wordpress settings that would work around this problem, but it is really better to have only playable episodes in a podcast feed. You can find that Wordpress has also produced a stream with only these podcast episodes, and if so you could argue that to Feedburner. Otherwise, you must remove the episode at the top of the page or your diet will not be accepted.
